Location is amazing and the hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, everything finished to such a high standard. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and really couldn’t do enough for us. Our gorgeous room was decorated with balloons, bunting, champagne and cupcakes for my birthday. The beds were so comfortable - we slept really well. The shower was great too!

There wasn’t tonnes of storage but what can you expect if you want to stay in a traditional building in Amsterdam! They build narrow and high. The hotel have been really smart at doing the best with the space they have. We were really impressed

Our room was quiet which is what we asked for and the bed was super-comfortable. The location was perfect with everything nearby. A lovely choice of food for breakfast with great pastries and the smoked salmon was a treat. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We didn't know there would be so many steep and narrow stairs - we got lost and very tired! Eventually I fell over a step on a landing even though it was lit up, as I was looking for our room number, not the floor! This left me feeling pretty sore as I fell head-first. To recompense us, the hotel changed our room to a ground floor one, which was perfect. Also, we were given a bottle of prosecco, as it was my husband's birthday, which was much appreciated. The wash basins in each room are definitely NOT user-friendly - they look extraordinary but are very impractical.

The staff are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was fresh and proved value for money. They kept our bags before our time to check in on saturday and after we checked out on sunday. The soundproofing kept the city noises out, but we could sometimes hear people in the corridor. The room was gorgeous and very clean, the only dirt I noticed was in the shower. We noticed that there was an empty bottle of wine when we arrived in the room, I called them and they sorted it out very quickly. Awesome experience, fantastic location just down from Dam Square and right near the Rokin Metro Station. Great value for money, definitely book with breakfast included!

The shower was a bit dirty but nothing too bad. We sometimes heard other guests talking in the corridor outside of our room if they were loud.

The location was great and the ambiance was really cool. I stayed on the top floor and it had a good view of the street. Breakfast was of good quality. A lot of different options. It was more than enough for a Turkish girl like me :) they had coffee machines and complimentary water and tea choices in the room. Many options in the mini bar as well. Hotel stuff was quite friendly and they welcomed me right away. To sum it up I can totally say it was a terrific accommodation in the heart of the city. Walking distance to the many historical places as well.

The location couldn’t be more central. It is located in Rokin. It had access to subway and tram lines which is very convenient. The staff are friendly and very helpful and they will be informative as much as they can if you ask them something around Amsterdam. The rooms were funky and has comfortable bed and had a nice view of the city. The breakfast had many options but be careful of the bacons as they were salty. The kitchen staff were very helpful and would even cook fresh eggs if you ask.

Very comfortable bed and showers were powerful and clean. Also loved that the water didn’t go spraying all over the floor while trying to take a shower.

The noise level during my stay was HORRIBLE. I had to sleep with ear plugs in every night. The walls are paper thin and I could hear EVERYTHING in the room next to me plus the zombies upstairs who kept stomping around all day and night.

Nice hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. The building has traditional canal architecture and has been renovated very well. Bedroom and bath are clean and comfortable with modern design functional and spacious. Lobby bar has everything you need and the breakfast was also good. Near all major attractions of the center.

The position of this hotel is excellent! I've had a tiny single room, but the comfort was enough for my needs. The rooms was very modern, but still mixed with artistical features that made me enjoy it better. Great breakfast, very worth it!!

Space in the bathroom was a bit limited... but still ok and very very modern!

The location is just perfect. The staff is exceptional especially Villie (i hope i spelled it right). Breakfast is also great, typical continental with your choice of eggs. The room is exactly like in the picture and super clean

Lack of insulation but i guess this is common in all old buildings in Amsterdam.

The rooms are beautiful, the staff is always listening. I had a problem with the shower drain, and they fixed it instantly and gifted me something to compensate for the problem, even though I didn't ask for it. It's also really close to transport.
