Good breakfast, friendly staff, nice open areas, relaxing bar restaurant to unwind at the end of the day.

Many rooms face the indoor atrium lobby. This is fine most of the time but this hotel seems to get a lot of parties that come back to the hotel between 1-4am. They ring the doorbell and make noise which unfortunately is heard in your room if you have such a room. This could be addressed by having more staff at night enforcing some level of noise mitigation.

The room was comfortable and the WiFi access didn’t disappoint.

There was a white lady at breakfast; bad service, you could see she was not paying g attention to us because we are black. I requested an omelette from her and she just looked and me and didn’t say anything, kept coming back to where I was standing and she still didn’t bother to assist. But thank God there was an Indian woman; she was very friendly and helpful.

Staff was brisk, and service was slow. Paid for breakfast but no one at omelette station. Understaffed in kitchen. Forever to get food. Room was not cleaned 2 days in a row and had to ask. Quite frankly, all the staff seemed, tired and very very busy.

Though it was a double room we had only one welcome kits in the bathroom (shower cap/ comb/ vanity kit/ toothbrush/ shaving kit). Once vanity kit had been used it was not replenished thereafter. During heavy rain water was dripping from above the attic window. I addressed the receptionist and he promised that someone "will come and see". No one ever came. We were happy that next rain was not so heavy as before.

We arrived at the hotel early but were able to check in as our room was ready. The staff on the reception were lovely and very nice to deal with. The room itself was so nice and spacious with plenty of room to move around. We did not eat in the hotel as we were always out wondering around but we had drinks in the bar on our last night and the staff was very nice and the bar itself was so relaxing. The hotel is in a great location 5 to 10 minute walk from Dam square so very central. I would recommend this hotel and I would absaloutly return.

There was a few hairs in the bath when we arrived at the room not a deal breaker I just washed them down the drain but it would have been ideal to not have to do that.

We stayed for four nights at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Amsterdam City Center, and the location was fantastic. It was a short walk to most of the places we wanted to visit, and close to public transportation options as well. The staff was welcoming and got us checked into our room quickly. The room and bathroom were spacious and nicely appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered plenty of options, providing a good start to the day. The area felt generally safe and convenient.

While the bed was comfortable, we did have an issue with the pillows having a musky smell. The hotel was quick to address this and replaced them without any hassle. The breakfast buffet had a good selection, though a bit more day-to-day variety would have been nice. The area around the hotel felt generally safe; however, during evening walks, we occasionally encountered individuals who were visibly drunk or high from smoking marijuana—this is Amsterdam, after all. They didn’t bother us or make us feel unsafe, but it’s something to keep in mind for more sensitive or less experienced travelers.

Room was lovely and clean, with great amenities and a comfortable beds. The rooms both had two complimentary waters, which we felt was a nice touch and greatly appreciated. The hotel location is great and handy for all shops, attractions and a short walk to Amsterdam Central to get to and from the airport.

The room service food quality wasn't as high as we liked. The pizza I ordered was overcooked and fairly bland. My colleague ordered a Caeser Salad but received a Salmon salad - it was very late on in the day, so we didn't mention anything at the time, as we were tired and were having to get up early the next day. Secondly, we requested hotel rooms on one of the lower floors but were given rooms on the 5th floor. I understand our booking was only a couple of weeks before we were due to arrive but would think the hotel could accommodate this request with a couple of weeks notice, as I understand there is many rooms on this property to switch with ours.

The room was a good size and the bed was huge and really comfortable. The bathroom was lovely with really nice toiletries. The staff member that helped show us how to check in was lovely and friendly. Only spoke to one or two members of staff as we didn't eat in the hotel but they were all very helpful. The hotel itself is in a central area for what we needed, walking distance to most things.

The noise level from the atrium during the night. Mostly is was ok but sometimes if anyone was in the atrium talking or laughing during the night it woke me up. If you're a sound sleeper like my husband then it's no problem. It wouldn't put me not staying again just something to consider.

We loved the location of the hotel on a quiet corner in the center of Amsterdam, within walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with an enormous comfortable bed, a small fridge, TV and large bathroom with a great shower. The breakfast was exceptional and the choice enormous. A small self service shop in reception for snacks was a bonus as was the reception bar.

Our only slight reservation was about the control for the air conditioning in the room. The room temperature can only be varied by + or - 3 degrees in the room. The actual temperature in the room though is controlled from reception. We were too cold in the room until we discovered this and reception raised the temperature. Perhaps this could be highlighted for guests.

Never had to wait long for the lifts Bathroom was a great size, wonderful shower Staff were very helpful & brought luggage trolley as soon as we called them when checking out Loved looking out at canal Lovely to have a cafe & gift shop - prices not too bad in shop

The safe was way too high to access. Not enough tea/coffee/hot chocolate etc Strange we had to use 2 different lifts (and walk through the basement corridor) to access our rooms - but not an issue Street access for vehicles could be a nightmare at times
