The lighting in the breakfast room was exceptional . Breakfast choice was extremely good with excellent service. The staff are well trained and very educated. The room was big and very comfortable. with two armchairs and a round table. Obviously as separate writing desk. Very comfortable bed and pillows. All top notch. Bathroom very big with separate bath and shower. A definite hotel to go back too. Highly recommended.

One small snag Lighting in the bathroom was dim. To shave properly one need good lighting specially on the mirror.

I didn't expect to find on this countryside that great modern luxury hotel on a shore of a lake with some yachts and boats around. Restaurant, serving a dinner until 11pm, beverages (and beers) available in a vending machine or/and at a reception 24x7 and a room service available. Due to a hotter weather, everywhere Fans were available, including the one in the room. Large LCD TV with some local channels (I didn't watch them). Bathroom is spacious and has bathtub and shower cabin. My stay was very short - "just overnight", so I didn't use all the facilities. However the overall hotel ambience is lovely and cozy. Team is supportive and smiling everywhere. Nevertheless it was a short stay I truly enjoyed it and would come back again.

The water pressure in a shower was too weak, so I went to a bathtub...but perhaps it was an issue in that particular room...I didst have a time to discuss that in a reception, but this is a minor temporary issue, I believe...

The location is around 28 kms from Giethoorn. The property offers good breakfast, there is a farm nearby where children can see farm animals and also play. They offer e scooters and a trip with them is awesome. The staff is excellent and always eager to help!

Very nice place, with very welcoming staff, a spacious room with a bath as indicated :) I hoped to see the bloom of the tulips, but mid-april seemed to be too early in the season. I'll be back next year, a few weeks later ! :D

The rooms, hotel and breakfast were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The only tiny criticism we had was that it was very difficult to adjust the temperature of the shower before using it as you had to stretch through the water - but this is only very minor.

Typical “van der Valk” hotel where you have good spacious rooms that look very nice and are comfortable. Staff was super friendly and the area is nice of you want to relax.

We had breakfast reserved at 10 and when we came to the restaurant there were a lot of tables that were not cleaned so finding a spot was a little work but other than that we had nothing to complain. Very good breakfast and good quality coffee.

The rooms and lobby were beautiful. Great having a fridge in the room. The staff was very pleasant, especially the cleaning crew.

Food was a bit expensive for what it was.

a gorgeous interior minutes away from the countryside and the tulip fields. clean, comfy, with a great breakfast! parking available on site.
