Service at front desk was excellent, helpful and courteous and provided an in-room tutorial on some of the appliances. The atmosphere is private, calm and clean. The location is at the core of Haarlem. We did regrettably not have breakfast at your facilities because we are former residents and have many nostalgic and still available items to sample.But I'm certain it would be First Rate, as is our total impression of our stay..

Hazardous entry into shower / tub- IMO it needs a few anti-skids where one would stand/move around. The mini fridge could be a bit cooler. Otherwise everything was perfect All the time.

Excellent location, a short walk from the rail station. Very clean and quiet room, with comfortable beds, and good quality shower products. First class breakfast, with a great selection of cereals, breads, fruit, cold meats and cooked food. Staff very efficient and always a friendly welcome when returning to the hotel each day. Lots of good places to eat, and an excellent restaurant adjacent to the hotel.

Nothing, we would consider booking there again.

What can I say but go here instead of Amsterdam, and specifically this hotel over any other. Might be a ten minute walk from the train, but honestly, that's desired as the hotel is in the best possible location within the city center. Close to anything one might ever consider needing, from plethora of groceries to toys, clothes and restaurants. Probably the best place I've ever visited as a tourist, with an exceptional hotel at that.

The electric bikes in the city are a bit frightening, but apart from that, there is nothing to subtract from the experience.

Housekeeping needs some improvements and rooms need to get a little makeover. I had to call the front desk when housekeeping forgot to provide towels, the shampoo/body wash bottle was empty, umbrella was not available upon request.Room was specious but placement of furniture trash cans, coffee maker/ tea kettle was in strange arrangements. Staff can benefit from a workshop on how to assists guests navigating the city by showing the locations of the important sights on the map.

Well situated to explore Haarlem….near good restaurants and cultural venues…as well as shopping. Friendly, helpful staff!

It’s a long walk to the train station to catch the train into Amsterdam.

Great location as it was in the middle of the old town next to the church. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. The room was comfortable and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was self service and good with lots of choice. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful.

A very small issue was that the extractor fan in the bathroom did not turn off at all. As the door to the bathroom was glass and did not shut like a normal door you could hear it in the bedroom. I did ask at reception if we could turn it off, unfortunately not.

Location was excellent - very close to city centre and riverside. Bedroom and bathroom were both quite large. Staff were very friendly.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as it cost €20 per person, which is quite a lot as we only have a coffee and a croissant. The noise from bars outside on Friday and Saturday night was terrible and went on until around 3:30 am. If possible, avoid rooms at the front of the hotel.

Staff were great. Location. Accommodating and flexible.

The bed was terrible. My fault entirely... I spent a week there and really should have asked for another bed. Im sure they would have exchanged it. Breakfast is not included.

Have stayed here before - excellent location just off main square and less than a minute from river (and near where river/canal trips leave from). Room fine with excellent, and quiet, AC. Had best sleep of the holiday here. Breakfast very good - wide selection of foods including cooked foods. Staff helpful with city information and booking taxi to airport. Several late night bars within a few minutes walk of hotel. Several waterfront cafes only 1-2 minutes away at river.

Nothing really - we were asked when we arrived to pick a breakfast time and we didn't - the two mornings we were there there was hardly anyone else in the breakfast room so unless you particularly want to eat early don't feel forced into choosing a time

Great location as most of the needed things were nearby, walkable distance. The helpful and always smiling staff, who speak good english, made our stay comfortable. We stayed for 3 days, went to Geithoorn and again came back to Haarlem and stayed here for 3 more days. When we came back we felt we were back to Our Home! Haarlem. Most beautiful town. With history, with nice old style lay-out. Narrow lanes, bicycle roads, canal rides. City of artists. Nice museum, with high-tech arrangements. Smiling people, fantastic street food style restaurants, tasty beer.

Heater in the room was not working as per our expectations....but as weather started getting warmer, we were ok with it.
