This place is stunning and far better than the pictures of the outside of the building. The staff were very helpful, rooms are large & very clean with several complimentry snacks. On the day it rained they even lent us a couple of golf umbrellas. But what blew me away on arrival was the plush toy they gave my daughter. The staff member went out the back and brought out a basket of teddies for her to choose from, it made her day!

Nothing this hotel exceeded all our expectations. Only wish we had stayed longer!

A well-located, charming and cozy experience in the centre of Hengelo, just 2 minutes by walk from the main train station. Hengelo is in gereal a lovely town, and this hotel makes it so easy to circle around. With it's location nearly in the pure centre, all attractions, shops, coffeeshops, breakfast corners were reachable within up to 9 minutes maximum by walking. Charming authentic location for Christmas time.

Central location on 2 minutes from the train station. Spacious and comfortable room. Everything spotless clean. Very friendly staff!

It was probably just my bad luck and bad timing (football :-( Although there is no open bar in front of the hotel, there was a bunch of youth yelling in front of our window in the very early morning. Obviously, it is not the hotel's fault or responsibility in any way.

Staying over in Hengelo during the NS train strike, the city hotel was a haven of comfort. Just exit the train station, cross the street, and almost at once you will see the sign to the hotel. The room was very spacious and extremely clean. Also very well equipped, with a desk, seating area, wardrobe with lots of clothes hangars, and tea/coffee making facilities. The 'welcome' gift of some chips & popcorn was a nice touch. The bathroom was along the same standard: separate shower and bath; nice toiletries; large mirror & beauty mirror; hairdryer; tissues. Staying here really helped lower my stress levels and I would certainly stay again, when in Hengelo.

To go the final centimetre to being really top, it would be nice to see: more variety of teabags provided in the room; more hanging hooks/rails in the bathroom. The lighting over the desk was also a bit dark.

From the moment we walked through the door after a very long and frustrating journey, we felt welcomed. Staff were helpful and friendly, our room had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Look forward to our next stay in April

Clean and nicely furnished. Good shower and comfortable beds. Also a gym which my son’s liked.

All of the jam and honey containers were empty at breakfast. Parking was not free - you paid for an overnight stay at the multi-storey next door. This was 10.50 per night.

Location was ideal for our business visit. The room was large and had both a shower and bath. Breakfast was of a good standard and available to meet out timetable.

Nothing really. It would be nice to have some additional facilities such as a pool or gym but that is probably outside the price bracket for the hotel.

I was surprised by the spacious room and the nicely appointed bathroom. Car park just about across the road is very convenient. Also, the hotel is very close to the Metropool where I was going for a concert.

My Australian credit cards did not work to pay. I had to rush out to find an ATM to get cash to pay. Also, on check in I wasn't asked if I used the car park - on check out I found out I should have paid on check in to get the cheaper rate. Fortunately they could still fix it.

Room was fine, breakfast very nice and mixed, well located, good infrastructure and kind staff. The hotel is nice specially for people who is visiting Hengelo for work in the nearby like UT or Thales.

The Internet service that was really bad for working, which made me spent some EUs in internet roaming. Also the hotel restaurant did not provide lunch or dinner - but the local food delivery app works properly with good price.

The room and the location was excellent. Very close to Railway Station. The breakfast was very basic.
