My whole experience here at No9 Hotel has been absolutely fantastic. I stayed for 8 days and found all of the staff to be presented well and professional. Room service for cleaning was always prompt and uninvasive. Onsite laundry facilities were easy to use. Perfect accomodation and a really reasonable price. And given that it's soooo close to everything was amazing. 5 star service at 2 star prices. Thank you very much to the team at No 9. I'll definitely be staying here again when I return to NZ. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. 😀

Location was great, near to the places I wanted to go while I was in Auckland. The price was also good value for money.

They didn't change my sheets, I did tell the cleaning lady I was ok not to have it changed by the 2nd day. But by the third day it still wasnt changed, I was too tired ask the reception since I was out most of the time. And their AC couldn't be changed from heating to cooling and vice versa, you have to go down and ask the front office. Just these little things that need to be improved on I guess, otherwise I did enjoy my stay and will probably still book with them in the future.

I usually stay here when in Auckland and the staff that I had dealt with in the past did not charge me bond due to my perfect ratings re Booking.com.. I only found out the next morning from one of the regulars at the counter the person I had dealt with that enforced the bond was new, no biggie, but I was a little annoyed at her emotionless demeanour on top of the bond.

The floor under the vanity looked like it could be a bit cleaner.

The air freshener was too strong. There seems to be a bit of a sewer odur in the bathroom like the ventilation does not work correctly. Although there is recycling bins in doors I suspect that no recycling is actually done.

The hotel is located relatively close to the City, and the bus stop is only 2min walking distance. Big shopping cetre was nearby too. The room itself was nice but nothing extra, the bed was super comfortable though. Fridge, tea kettle, microwave were all provided, so were the toiletteries. I had a hired car during my stay and even though I didn't request a car spot at the time of booking, thankfully I managed to get one. Overall it was a good value for money.

The aircon only had cool down option, there was no heater. Even though I was there during Christmas break, one of the nights was very cold, it would have been great to be able to warm the room up. The aircon was also a bit noisy. The room seemed clean at first but as soon as you look it closely, you could have seen that behind the fridge, or under the bed ni one was vacuuming for a while. Lastly, I'm all for going green and environmental friendly but using body wash and shampoo from paper package is just not working. You either use up the given portion at once or have to throw it as the packaging will fall apart from the water. A dispenser on the wall would be a better option I believe.

Compact, clean, quiet, modern, well equipped room. Comfortable bed, good shower. Parking $15 or plentiful free parking on street, 4pm to 7am 20m from hotel or 3pm to 9am across the road 100m from hotel. Short walk to Westfield.

Conditioning shampoo so pack conditioner.

I was sceptical because of the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. It was perfect for what we needed. I think everyone with bad reviews are just far too picky. We had our room serviced daily with fresh towels, sheets and toilet paper. We were always met with friendly staff the room was clean and warm. Would definitely stay here again.

There was a slight smell like damp water coming from the bathroom but just shut the door and it was fine.

Check-in was quick and easy. Decent sized room and had everything we needed in the room. Room was clean and housekeeping came in everyday which was good!

Only criticism is that the main door to the hallways shakes the room when it opens and shut but we got used to it and didn’t bother us much. Other than that I’d book here again and price was good too! I recommend staying here!

The location was great, the room was perfect for a quick stay while travelling for a concert. Loved that there were multiple options for heating and cooling which helped make our sleep more comfortable.

The curtains still allowed alot of light in from outside as we faced the main road, our bathroom soaps werent refilled, and the drains in the bathroom smelt but these are just nitpicky things. I thought the room was fantastic for the price!

Comfortable bed, good sized bathroom, plates and cutlery provided in the room, as well as fridge, toaster and microwave, friendly staff, location very close to bus stop but also walkable if you like walking

Bathroom drain didn’t really drain the water coming from the shower so bathroom was constantly flooded (slightly up to very flooded), some of the staff didn’t speak good English, filtered water tap in the shared kitchen didn’t work
