Room and indeed whole facility was clean and tidy. Adequate car parking was available for guests at the time. Room was well equipped with microwave, coffee/tea making, fridge, plates and dining ware etc. Bathroom facilities were excellent. Great location with some good restaurants etc nearby.

Not a great selection of pillows. TV/cable stations were limited and possibly not as advertised. We had a hire car so getting about was easy, may not be so easy otherwise.

The cleanliness was exceptional, everything nicely presented, shower was amazing. The location was perfect, so close to everything in the city, right on a main road but was still quiet so must be well insolated.

The only negative was the slamming of doors throughout the night by other guests, I know this isn't the fault of the managers/owners but it was very annoying specially before sunrise both mornings. Not sure how this can be solved, there are inconsiderate people everywhere I guess.

A great place to stay when checking out Christchurch and all it's attractions. The motel is located on busy Bealey Avenue so we asked for a quiet room and got a free upgrade to the top floor at the back, away from the road, which was definitely quieter. The room itself was a good size with comfortable beds, a little balcony, and the shower had great water pressure. The location was good with lots of cafes nearby and it was only a short walk to the town centre.

There was a bit of noise from the in-room fridge and from neighbouring rooms when they had showers, etc. but it was pretty minimal. Also, we couldn't figure out how to take the lift from the ground floor up (maybe a security thing) but we could take it from the first floor up and had no problems going down.

The lady at the front desk was helpful when I couldn't work the tv for sky channels, and she let me check in early

That I could hear alot of noise from the other people staying you could hear them talking loudly and laughing loud when they got in late and the shutting of their doors and running back and forth between rooms, and sometimes you could hear the traffic aswell

Very noisy at the front, but, it is close to the city centre so I guess that it to be expected. Would like to see a king size bed. The style that can be split into two for those wanting single beds. Signage advertised 50+ sky channels! No way could I get 50. Most sky channels were unavailable. Enjoyable stay though!

Very good value,clean and in a good position to walk into the cathedral quarter.Beds were comfortable, well equipped kitchenette fab shower perfect for our needs .

Nothing to dislike to be honest .

The space itself was awesome. Cannot fault how lovely and accommodating the staff were especially as we arrived earlier than expected. We were on the ground floor and had a lovely outdoor space.

The shower head wasn't great and water pressure was not good. In the photos online it was two bedrooms with a double then two singles however, one of the singles was in the living room which we weren't expecting.

Lovely helpful host especially when we first arrived earlier than planned due to very wet weather. The studio room and the shower were roomy and modern. The motel is dog friendly, but naturally we had our own dog bedding.

The smaller parking spaces were difficult to maneuver into as most people had big cars. You need to back your vehicle in.

Beds are the most comfortable around, and towels etc were refreshed daily. Great location.

Shower had great pressure but water would end up on the outside of the shower door leaving a puddle. The sofa might be due to be replaced as it was very uncomfortable and it felt like it was broken when sitting on it and the arms of the chair that were hanging on with velcro, spent most of the time on the floor.

Spotlessly clean. Bed & pillows were nice & comfy & the shower was AMAZING! A giant pan showerhead in a large bathroom. Good location, central to everything. Strawberry Fare restaurant is just down the road, which is also worth a visit (check out the breakfast menu). Good parking right at the door.

The road noise took some getting used too - esp if you're country mice like us!
