The view of the lake was amazing! The change of colours over the day along with the animals on the lake were the most memorable thing about the stay. The staff was warm, friendly, and really helpful.

The porch/veranda were not adequately cleaned. Extensive cobwebs can be seen on wooden chairs; bird excrements were seen on the rails. Spa tub was not adequately cleaned, debris can be seen on my wash. One of the water jet outlets was broken. Air conditioning units were old, and maintenance lights have been on for both upstair and downstair units. Clicking noises can be heard frequently. However, they have been effective units. The shower door could not be fully closed, I had to use a towel to close it flush.

Loved the unit layout, style and positioning on the lake. Restaurant was convenient and lovely food. Staff were great.

Although clean and presentable, It seemed a shame the unit maintenance was terribly lacking, it would not have taken a great effort and expense to refresh the dowdy timber surfaces and to get the bi-fold doors so they would open and close. It’s a maintenance manager issue and Management will probably ignore this comment as I’m sure they have been notified before , because the issue is not new.

The location is beautiful and very relaxing. We made our own breakfast.

The light over the main staircase was out. We requested it to be fixed three times but it was not, despite me almost falling and being caught by my husband (thank goodness). It could have been a very nasty accident because I could not see the stairs in the dark.. This was reported to Ryley who said he had written it in ‘the book’ and was surprised it had not been fixed on Saturday.

Everything Applicance-wise was there that we needed and any staff member we came across was very friendly. The heat pump was on for us when we arrived so it was lovely and warm on arrival which was a lovely touch. The views over the golf course were gorgeous, the surroundings were lovely - tree lined long driveway in and out....

We had booked a room that also had a sofa bed and we had advised we were bringing a 15 year old with us - there was no bedding provided for the sofa bed unfortunately, so we had to use the one spare blanket that we found to put under him and then use the blanket off our bed to put over him...not ideal late at night when it was too late to do anything about it - we just wrongly assumed the sofa bed would be made up - but no spare sheets/pillowcases for us to make it up either

The breakfast was amazing here. The room was also super spacious and we liked the small deck. It was a nice place to take a walk after eating. The grounds and golf course are beautiful. The beds are fabulous.

There were steep stairs up to the rooms. If you heavy suitcases, you may have issues if you have mobility issues. Not sure if they have ground-floor rooms, but would be something to ask, if stairs are hard for you. Also, you need a car here. It's spread out.

Bed and TV were disappointingly small for how nice the facility was - expected them to be bigger. Also was quite dirty in places for it being a "resort" - door runners full of dirt, windowsill corner out in the hallway was covered in cobwebs and dead bugs. Bathroom fan didn't handle the condensation from the shower heat well and took a long time for it and the mirrors to clear

Lovely room and super comfy bed

The restaurant, we ate our evening meal there and it was ok. Service was not great, forgot our drinks and the meal was ok but disappointed that there were quite a few elements of our meal that were on the menu but not on our plates. The morning breakfast was poor, most of the food in the Bain Marie (mushrooms, hash browns and eggs) were almost cold.

The unit we stayed at was wonderful, straight on the lake. The lake creates beautiful atmosphere - you watch birds, eels, waves lapping almost at your door. The upstairs and downstairs were comfortable, clean, parking is free at the door. The hotel is located on the golf course and there are are a lot of walkways, calm and peaceful location. Kitchen is reasonably equipped. It is a short drive to CBD.

We liked the spacious room, huge bathroom,very comfortable bed and great view of the lake. Good to be able to dine in the on site restaurant. We were given an extra 2 hours for late checkout at only $20.

Rooms need to provide a bottle opener and sharp knife. Needed for the tonic and lemons to go with the gin purchased on our travels.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The super king bed was much appreciated. The view of the water was very pleasant and tranquil. The shower was excellent with great water pressure and water temperature. The shampoo, conditioner, shower gel etc were great to use and had a lovely aroma.

I think it would be great if a tech savvy person went around all of the rooms and synchronised the times on the devices! In our room, the clock, the microwave, the sky console and the heat pump all showed different times. The Sky channels were very 'dated' with the choices they offered - maybe you could consider another provider such as Netflix? The heat pump may have needed new batteries, because we found it very slow to respond to the remote control. However overall these were minor irritations.
