The convenience of the location from the airport, friendliness, will to help with any questions.

Umm this is a hard question to answer, maybe it wasn’t something I didn’t like, but more of a suggestion….it would be great to have tea & coffee in the rooms that have the bed and bathrooms together as we came in after midnight and only stayed until 10am, which meant not been able to have our own tea & coffee, we had to go downstairs to find some and trying to make sure we didn’t use other people’s stuff, so it would be really nice to have the tea & coffee in the rooms

LyLo was well located to the airport, public transport and local shops. The beds were comfortable and the pods were great with large lockers underneath. Good showers, weekly movie nights and pool tournaments. Staff were friendly and helpful - make sure to ask for a discounted pass to the international Antarctic centre!

There wasn’t a lot of atmosphere - if you were travelling solo, it would be a difficult place to meet others. Whilst the location is great for the airport, if you don’t have a car it’s about 30 min by bus to the city and fares are $4. But the bus stop is right out the front :)

Well thought out room which although small works much better than say Ibis small rooms. The chill out lounge more than makes up for the lack of in room facilities (Kettles etc). The staff, in particular the night manager, were excellent and very helpfully. Local access to food outlets is very good, all within a short walk.

The advertising blurb says it is 10 minutes walk from the airport. Whilst this might be possible with no luggage and knowing all the shortcuts, It is not possible pushing a loaded baggage trolley.

We stayed in a Family Pod (8 of us), and it was an incredible experience! The kids absolutely loved it. The bed was very comfortable, and each pod is equipped with air conditioning and a convenient plug socket. The shared bathroom was clean, and we really loved the strong water pressure. My favorite part was the common area—it's an open space with full kitchen facilities, including all the necessary utensils. The lounge area was cozy and even had a hammock, plus there were plenty of board games and other activities available for everyone to enjoy.

The Family Pod Room could benefit from more space for luggage and movement, allowing for a more comfortable experience.

Being greeted at the front desk, liked the wooden key, the compactness of the unit, the fact there was a lift, the large window looking out to trees and a great expanse of grass - so unexpected , after only a short walk from the airport. Loved the large room to relax in or cook. TV was good and sheets very clean

The shower had yellow dirty edges and the ensuite had a not nice smell. When I lay down to do my exercises there were hairpins and paper on the floor from a previous resident. I missed having coffee and tea in the morning. When I went to order breakfast I was told to go out to the Coffee Club.

However, the overall vibe was a bit off, and the guests were not as talkative and sociable as one might have hoped for but rather aloof and stand-offish, with quite a number of them more or less staring at their phones. Sign of the times, I suppose.

Nice pod hotel. The pod was clean and felt relatively private. Good location, walking distance to the airport. Also, there are free parking spaces on a main road not far from the hotel to park your car. Friendly staff.

The pod felt a bit stuffy inside and the integrated fan was a bit noisy to operate at night. Also, the most annoying fact was that there is no towel provided as standard, you need to pay for it extra. C'mon, one towel per person would not hurt the business.

Easy access from airport;; 24 hr check-in; room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I do not believe I specifically requested a quiet room so maybe I was allocated one by the management based on the fact that I was arriving in the early hours - if so that was a nice thing to do!

I did book another double room for two siblings who arrived earlier in the day. They were also happy with their room, but did in fact struggle with noise issues from the airport as well as from the early morning activity at the supermarket that is in close proximity. So they were obviously on the opposite side of the building to me. I will keep that in mind for future bookings. Also I had a lot of trouble connecting to the free wifi, but don't know what caused the issue.

Proximity to the airport was what made us choose this hotel. And it was indeed within walking distance to the airport. The common area was big and with a massive and well equipped shared kitchen so many people can cook simultaneously. The seating area also offers different options and are spacious. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and on site 24h which makes it a definite plus for late night check ins and check outs.

The beds could be a tad more comfortable. There was some outside noise from the parking area which is adacent to the rooms.
