Check-in was great, Kent showed me around the property and explained everything. The In-room compendium was very thorough. The guest laundry was cheap, easy to use and efficient. The room was spacious and very clean. The home made biscuits were delicious! The location was really good, easy to walk to any shops you might need. Heated floors in the bathroom are a really nice touch. The gardens are beautiful and peaceful. They collect food waste for their worm farm - this was awesome as I'm used to composting at home.

The carpark was a bit tight with a full house, but there are enough spaces for 1 car per unit. Could hear TVs from neighbouring rooms and loud foodsteps from the room above me.

Lovely quiet room in a beautiful garden setting with parking and easy access. Thoughtfully and stylishly furnished, with a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom with heated floor. Staff were friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay. Having a restaurant right out the front was also very convenient. Homemade cookies upon arrival were a lovely touch.

Nothing really not to like but the grouting in the shower could probably benefit from a thorough clean.

We have stayed in this hotel on 4 occasions now and it’s always very comfortable with friendly staff and a great location. The rooms are well equipped, modern and clean and the beds are huge and comfy.

This is the first time we’ve stayed in one of the 2 bedroom apartments and we were a little disappointed that’s it’s not up to the standard of the rooms. It was clean and comfortable but was definitely lacking in places, no headboards which I thought was weird, not much storage or anywhere to hang jackets/robes/bags. One cushion on the sofa, one random chopstick in the kitchen, not enough tea and milk etc for 4 people. Very plain and uninviting in comparison to the bedrooms. Also, even though we’ve been back 4 times we’ve never been recognised/welcomed back.

The hotel is large and has a beautiful garden view. Parking is very convenient. The staff is very friendly and gave us milk. There are also cookies in the room, and we are very grateful! The facilities are complete, the room is clean, and the bed is very comfortable. The transportation is also very convenient. Dunedin and this hotel are both good places! There are also corresponding instructions and tips for guests in the room. Highly recommended.

It was such a pleasant surprise to discover this motel which is a hidden gem. Everything was fabulous. Great communication, friendly staff. Big shout out to Duncan who provided awesome customer service! Rooms were lovely, super clean, bed sooooo comfortable. Great location (easy walking distance to town). We will most definitely be back. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay.

The motel was close to town, within walking distance of everything we needed. The facilities and staff were excellent. I also loved that there was a lift to the second floor making it easier to transport suitcases and also easier for people who have difficulty using stairs.

The only complaint was the extractor fan in the bathroom was exceptionally noisy and could not be turned off when in the bathroom, or used separately. However I do understand that having it switch on with the light means that no-one forgets to use the extractor. However one hopes someone can find a way to mitigate the noise level.

Really good location. Short walk down George St to centre of town. Room was very clean ans comfortable. Bed was comfy. Housekeeping staff did an excellent job.

Nothing much really. We could hear some random noises at times in night which were not sure where they were coming from so maybe insulation a bit thin.

Location was an easy walk to restaurants and shops. The inner courtyard garden was lovely. The room was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The arrival cookies and milk as well as coffee grounds for pressed coffee were really nice touches! The bedding was lovely. We really liked the warm floors in the bath and kitchen! The only thing negative is hearing the noise of people walking around upstairs.

Clean and modern motel units with well equipped kitchen/dining area. Extremely comfortable beds and pillows. Location close to University. Off-street Carpark provided. Able to walk everywhere. Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet internal courtyard garden very peaceful. Cookies in room on arrival 😀

A bit noisy in the evening due to being close to University flats and student parties... Wearing earplugs fixed this.
