Everything was amazing! We came a couple of hours earlier than the check-in time, yet were given a key straightaway. The room had everything we needed - a cot that we had requested in advance, a well equipped kitchen with not only the pots, utensils, dinnerware etc but also salt and pepper. A large cooktop; a giant TV and a jakuzzi for two people. The bed was utterly comfortable. A super nice swimming pool which my 3yo just loved. The owner and the other staff were very welcoming and helpful. I can highly recommend this motel and will definitely stay there again when back to Nelson.

I can't say I didn't like it, just would appreciate a bigger saucepan. The two available were really tiny so we had to use them both simultaneously to cook pasta for two adults and one toddler.

This has got to be the cleanest Motel I have ever stayed in. The room was large and well equipped, there's a good kitchen area, plenty of hot water, and a powerful shower. It is in a great location being near to the lovely beach, but it's also only a short drive into the centre of Nelson. The owner is very friendly and makes sure that you have everything you need for a great stay. We were sad to leave! The Arcadia will be my first choice of accommodation when returning to Nelson.

The Host Dave and his wife were just lovely. Very helpful very friendly and chatty. Gave us some good tips on food places and things to see while in Nelson. The unit was very very clean, smelt good - roomy, warm and extremely comfortable. Great hot shower, lovely big bathroom. big kitchen and fridge, great for families. The beds were so soft and comfortable. Having the sky TV was fantastic and the area very safe and close to the beach for amazing walks. We used the laundry which was again so very very clean. It was one of the nicest Hotels we stayed in and the nicest of Hosts. Would definitely stay there again and definitely recommend others to stay there. They really went to extra mile in cleanliness and friendliness.

Good location ,close to the beach and restaurants. The staff members were so kind, always willing to help. The room is huge and have everything you need to feel comfortable and rest after long hours on the road. Toilet and spa great!. The room has lots of natural light and you can seat out of it to enjoy a coffee, the birds and contemplate the lemon tree. Laundry room pretty useful.

This is an older motel that has been mostly refurbished. We stayed in Unit 7 for 5 nights and would have added 2 more nights if there had been availability. The well equipped kitchen area was well defined with a round table and 2 chairs. I was able to use kitchen power outlets to charge my computer while using it. The bathroom was compact but adequate and had been retiled. Power outlets beside the bed helpful for CPAP users. Housekeeping was daily with fresh towels, if needed. Parking at the door. Check in was easy and management also gave excellent personal recommendations on must see places along our onward route. Good value. Would stay again.

I have spinal issues and would have liked a firmer bed however this is not home. Planes pass overhead here at Tahunanui but are not big very noisy ones and didn't notice any during the night.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Motel was beautifully warm when we opened the door .. talk about a warm welcome!! Much appreciated!! Lots of little niceties, tissues, coffee plunger, big saucepan etc that make cooking/eating on site so much easier and nicer! Huge thanks from Us.

Stairs to the unit were tricky for my elderly Aunt who was with us. A handrail here would make a huge difference. Parking near our unit was tight to get into when all the surrounding units were full. Think this would only apply to this one room.

The unit was very clean and modern and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, which added to our experience of visiting the Nelson region, and the kids loved having a dip in the pool every day.

The rooms were quite warm although aircon unit & fans helped. We did wake up to planes taking off every morning quite early but also knew it was located near the airport when we booked and the location was great for visiting the beach, getting into Nelson city and getting out to Abel Tasman park easily.

The property was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.They informed us on the great places to visit in our area and what was walking distance for us to visit.The room we were staying in was very clean and tidy and just across from the pool.

The property is near the airport and we had planes going over at certain times,but it didn’t bother us too much at the time.

Our unit was very clean, and cleaned daily. The bed was very comfortable. Good TV. The kitchen was excellent with everything we needed. The bathroom was excellent with a lovely spa bath. We appreciated having a nice carport at our entrance door.

We loved our stay at the Arcadia. Andy was welcoming and helpful, and our first floor studio room with balcony had everything we wished for, including a super king size bed (plus a single bed if we'd needed it). The room was really well serviced each day, and the allocated parking was very useful, as was the small swimming pool. We had a great time, and would happily stay at the Arcadia again.
