Self check-in so we did not encounter any staff members, but instructions were emailed to us and super clear. Beautiful location and even more beautiful accomodations -- we stayed at the 2 bedroom Riesling Room, and it was so clean and very modern. One of the nicest places we stayed in NZ. Bathrooms were pristine. A nice spread of self serve breakfast items, cheese, and wine were also upon arrival. Small kitchenette was thoughtfully well equipped. Even though NZ has a ton of sandflies and mosquitos, it felt like this place had none! Super comfortable, spacious, and modern. Bedding and sheets were top notch. Bathtub in the 2 bedroom option was sublime. Highly recommend.

Soundproofing wasn't the best, we could kind of hear other occupants -- nobody was noisy except us, we have a toddler (sorry!). We slept incredibly well. Not a ton of immediate food or restaurant options nearby (10-15 minutes to great options in Amberley), but that's expected of a beautiful peaceful getaway location.

We have stayed here before and knew what to expect. The property is in a secluded location and not near any shops or restaurants but generous provisions are supplied including hearty continental breakfast supplies, wine, cheese & biscuits. The decor is very pleasant and comfortable.

This time only there was no hairdryer provided and no tea towels unlike previous visits. Not the end of the world but things one would expect.

We had two beautiful rooms with kitchen facilities. They were both really lovely, very comfortable and clean and the little touches made them perfect. The beds were very comfortable and the outlook very quiet, so a wonderful nights sleep. The continental breakfast was ample with a good choice of tea, coffee, cereal, fruit, yoghurt etc. we would definitely recommend and would love to stay again and for longer.

Located in a really peaceful setting amongst the vines - just what we needed after a month away and the hustle and bustle of travelling for that period of time. our room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed and we really appreciated the wonderful breakfast that had been left for us

we would have preferred a Queen bed - as in all the other properties we stayed at during our holiday, however this is not meant to be a criticism as the double bed was really comfortable

The service is fantastic and second to none , Brian was there with whatever we need for the stay and has awesome recommendations for places to eat , trust him for his food choices!

The rooms had a lot of upholstery and people allergy will not be comfortable in the property.

Beautiful room (Riesling) and the owner had really thought of so many nice touches including a lovely bottle of their wine and a very tasty continental breakfast pre-prepared in the room on our arrival. Exceptionally clean and would definitely stay again!

Absolutely no complaints! But if I had to say something here, it would be the directions to the house. We drove completely past it as we thought it was a different property. Thankfully we found our way and all was great!

The location was lovely. It was very peaceful and relaxing, especially out on the balcony as the sun was setting. The bedroom was beautiful and the shower was amazing.

The only thing that was a bit disappointing was some of the cushions on the outdoor furniture were quite wet so we couldn't sit outside and enjoy the sunset.

Lovely quiet location with countryside views. Clean and comfortable.

I think other people have mentioned this in the reviews, but the soundproofing between rooms is not great ( I appreciate this is difficult to fix!). I don’t believe the people in the adjoining room were being excessively noisy but we could hear everything!

Beautiful vineyard location, very quiet, surrounded by gardens. Welcomed with a pack of ‘goodies’ for breakfast and nibbles, including wine. Bbq area for guests a real bonus, as was the availability of bikes/helmets to explore the wider wine trail. Wonderful hosts and staff couldn’t have done more to make our stay memorable.
