Location was just next to a Fjord. Rooms were decent in size considering the country and the price. We stayed in the Motel. Checkin was across the street in another building where there is also a restaurant with pizza and some other things. Bathroom was sufficient. Groceries were a 10 min walk in the town center. The surroundings were quiet. Plenty of space to park your car. Huge shared kitchen and dining area ideal for those looking to cook their own meals. Cleanliness of rooms and the common spaces was good.

The beds were a bit soft, I like the mattresses a bit hard. The curtains could only partially block the light from outside. In summers its hard to get complete darkness in the room. Some shampoo in the shower would be good.

Beautiful nature and views in surrounding. Nice location to take break and chill. Infrastructure was Ok, but if we would have booked the houses then it was better.

We were in the motel part. The room was clean, furnished in a minimalist spartan style, but had enough space. The beds are too narrow and you can't allow yourself to turn around much if you don't want to end up on the ground. Very comfortable pillows and covers. There is a small table with two chairs in the room which worked well for us to eat in the evening. There is a shared well-equipped kitchen and great seating areas in the common areas with beautiful views outside. The bathroom has basic amenities but it's still good enough and comfortable.

Great location, the campimg is right next to the fjord - so you can get in the water (if you dare 😀). There is a sauna as well (for additional payment) on the beach, fun to use it, then jump in the fjord. Flam is 30 mins away - either through the tunnel or taking the panoramic road (which takes longer, but highly recommended at least once). The house is nice and clean.

Beds were uncomfortable. Very narrow, you can't really turn without falling. They were too soft as well. Kitchen could be better equipped.

We stayed in the motel part of this accommodation and it was comfy and super easy to navigate. We were the only ones so enjoyed having the kitchen to ourselves. The kitchen was brilliant but no pantry items around like other hostel kitchen such as salt and pepper, etc. Great dining space and warm. They accommodated our late arrival too!

The beds were quite small with a simple mattress topper as your mattress but still slept great. Shower head had crazy pressure so had to work on adjusting it to my preference and again - all good in the end!

Our stay at Lærdal Ferie- og Fritidspark was wonderful! The cabins were clean and cozy, with spotless private bathrooms, and the location was perfect for exploring the fjords. The stunning views right outside our window made the experience even more special, and we were lucky enough to catch the Northern Lights from the comfort of our cabin! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a scenic and comfortable stay in Norway.

Nothing to dislike

The location is fantastic. It is right on the fjord beach so you can go swimming if you like cold water. We used the sauna outside the motel. The town is beautiful and nestled between some magnificent mountains. It is small and easy to walk around. Car charger at the gas station within walking distance. The longest tunnel in the world gets you here from Flam.

The motel.is basically a hostel with private rooms and bathrooms. The room is very basic and beds barely comfortable. The shared kitchen was nice to have. For the price, activities nearby and the view, the trade-off is worth it.

A fantastic stopover between Bergen and Beitostølen, this place offers stunning fjord views right from the room. We appreciated the on-site bicycles and children's play park. The room is basic but comes with private bathroom. excellent water pressure. It was a peaceful stay as there were only a few other guests in the motel building. Shared kitchen was clean and well equipped. Check-in and check-out were smooth, with staff readily available and extremely friendly and welcoming.

The price was exceptional: it saved us much money. And the quality/money ratio is good. The room was quite large, more than expected, and had also a wardrobe. The position is superb: when you exit your room, you are directly a few meters from the beginning of the fjord, and the view is stunning. We took some photos at the sunset, with the sun setting right in front of us.

Almost everything was ok.

Fabulous location. Our room was in the motel, a two storey building without a lift, across the way from the camping site. We were allocated a room on the shaded side of the building with 3 windows which opened. The room was quite spartan with a small bord, two comfortable chairs, 2 narrow quite low, single beds and a small ensuite shower/toilet/wash handbasin. There was a communal kitchen on the ground floor had electric kettles, cookers and fridge/freezers. At 11pm it was completely quiet so we got a reasonably good night's sleep. Well maintained activity area outside for children of all ages....we even saw the maintenance man checking equipment on Saturday evening.

The motel building although refurbished is quite old. We arrived late afternoon on a really hot day. My husband has some mobility issues and struggled a bit with the stairs, there was no lift. The temperature in the lobby on the second floor must have been nearly 40c. The openers on the windows had been removed. Fortunately the fire doors to the corridors were closed and the temperature leading to the room was much cooler.
