Location was perfect for us, halfway between Flam and its impressive viewpoint, and Olden, which was our stop next day. It is right in the middle of the Fjord of Dreams, with a lovely view from the room I booked. The room had an adequate size, modern furniture and some space for luggage. It was properly heated, something that I appreciated, because it was 10 degrees outside in August. Breakfast was excellent and very quiet in the time we chose. And buffet dinner was quite a surprise for us, and good value for money, taking into account that we are in Norway. Besides, it was a dinner with a view to the fjord, something very relaxing, which made our night.

The warm welcome by Mr Miroslauv's reception contributed to the wonderful experience at the hotel.  The room is just new!  And perfect with a lake view.  A lawn by the lake with seating areas.  Dinner is served in a buffet configuration, a very rich variety and especially very tasty that definitely provides full value for the fair payment.  The breakfast is wonderful and rich.  Mr. Miroslav, a person with high customer service awareness and will do anything to make your stay enjoyable.  Many thanks to the landlord for the sheer enjoyment of the wonderful place!  Let there be - and more such places in Norway.

The receptionist was very attentive and helpful - he finally gave us an up-grade after some problems in our first room.

In our first room one of the windows didn't open and our personal water heater made the electricity of the room break down, so we couldn't use it any more. That happened in no other hotel on our trip through Norway.

This hotel is all about the view, make sure you have a fjord view room. All the rest is very basic and way overpriced

Very basic hotel, terrible coffee at breakfast. As there was no fridge in the room, we asked the reception to put the food to the fridge and planned to get in the morning. But in the morning the receptionist couldn’t find it, apparently it was thrown away. It was a whole bag of good stuff and groceries are very expensive in Norway. The hotel could offer something from their kitchen instead, but didn’t. This was disappointing. We had a whole day planned with a hike and had to spend time and money for grocery shopping.

Breakfast was good so with the buffet dinner, have a lots of foods to choose . It's also nice ro bring some drinks or coffe outside from the restaurant and enjoy the scenery of the lagoon and the stone walls.

Our room located in the side of the road, it was noisy from the cars passed by , but it was quite middle of the night. It was fully booked that time so we have no chance to transfer other room.

A gigantic hotel near the fjord with a beautiful view. The buffet dinner was excellent. There were many options to choose from, and the desserts were amazing. Breakfasts were similar, also excellent.

A slight disadvantage is that you can hear everything in the hotel. The large number of guests staying here was noticeable.

Lovely property, situated right on the lake with beautiful lawns…very comfortable big room and big bathroom…very pleasant staff (Special mention to Alberto at the reception)…the chef even made for us stir-fried vegetables for breakfast as we are pure vegetarians…had a relaxing stay at the hotel…

This was in a great location for an overnight stay on our journey to Geiranger. It was quiet and scenic. The food was lovely.

I would have liked to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room or at least in a common area instead of having to pay for a cup of hot water with accompanying teabag.

Great location. Fantastic staff, especially Daniel from Romania who advised us on what to see. Loved the view (we had a room facing the fjord). We had breakfast outside twice and we enjoyed the garden a lot Free parking

The rooms are basic. The furniture is ok-ish in the rooms, but they don’t make any effort to make it better or to renovate it. The bathrooms are quite old and because of that they don’t look too clean. The shower has a curtain and the drain is in the middle of the bathroom so if someone else wants to brush the teeth after you took a shower, he/she will get wet feet. Just a dispenser with liquid soap both for hand wash and shower. Felt all the time like the bathroom was very dirty, although they cleaned it. The walls are extremely thin. At any moment you can hear people passing by your door, people in the next room talking etc. Breakfast very basic and absolutely no variations from one day to another (stayed there for 4 nights)

The location was great for an early start over Aurlandsfjellet. Lift.oleasant room. I got upgraded to a double even though I ordered a single free. Flat battery in TV control fixed immediately. very pleasant mostly English speaking staff (although they do understand Norwegian). Comfy bed. Small balcony towards the road with just a snippet of a view of the fjord.

Although the shower had a short wall the water still went all over the floor by the toalett and sink. No shower shelf for own products. Would have liked just a sandwich before bed but only a huge buffet for kr 375 was available. Had to leave the hotel to find something at the local petrol staton. No catering for milk allergies at breakfast. None of the bread was milk free. They had gluten free bread but even that contained milk I was told.
