The staff is amazing . They are so kind and caring.

It's a new hotel between the airport and the city of Muscat. Very clean with good facilities. The pool is not a large pool, but it was never busy during our stay. It was kept clean and tidy by the young man working there. The chef in the mornings was very good. He was polite to everyone, and his omelettes were excellent. The food was very good too.

It is located out of Muscat, but we wanted this. You would need a car to get around unless you use a taxi. We had a car, and we found it fairly easy to get to all the places we wanted to visit. We had an issue with the water pressure, and it took 2 days, and it wasn't rectified. We were moved to another room by the duty manager.

I was surprised by the unexpected charge. I booked through Booking.com, where the payment was listed as 684 plus 150 for taxes if paid in Qatari Riyals, or 68 OMR if paid in the property's currency. However, the hotel is now asking me to pay 83.824 OMR, claiming that Booking.com made a mistake by not mentioning additional taxes. Based on the booking confirmation, I believe I should only be required to pay either 684 plus 150 for taxes (if paying in Qatari Riyals) or 68 OMR (if paying in the property's currency). I was pleased when I made the booking, but this situation has left me very disappointed and frustrated. I can’t fully express how unsettled I am by this discrepancy.

The reservations team are very accommodating in ensuring we get the best experience. The have arranged a nice birthday complimentary setup for us, thank you to the HK team as well. The room is clean and interior just wow 🤩 They are quick as well in delivering guest requests even in the middle of the night. FO team allowed us to have a late check out since we checked in a bit late already. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back next time.

- Not sure if it was the standard temperature in the room but around midnight it was showing 22°C and it was definitely warm. - Majority of the tv channels are either arabic or some are not even working that for some who doesn’t understand the local language will not be able to understand

- The room was very spacious - Aloft is near Muscat Airport. Taxi to and from Muscat Airport cost me OMR 7. - Check in was very smooth and quick. - The interior design is so trendy and eclectic. - The bed was very comfortable.

- The room lacked toiletries. There was one shampoo dispenser & one conditioner dispenser & one tiny bottle of shower gel. No toothbrush/toothpaste etc. No bathrobe. No bedroom slippers. The hotel could elevate so its ranking by so much more if it provided these simple items. - The view was not magnificent but it was ok for me.

Called the front desk twice asking for body lotion. No one turned.

Probably one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in at this price point! The room was huge, had a lovely big shower, and enormous bed. Everything was spotless in the room, and the staff were attentive and friendly. Would 100% recommend, and will stay here again if we are coming back to Muscat.

Location - you are not able to walk to any restaurants from the hotel which is a shame, but there is parking below if you have a car, and a restaurant on site if you get really stuck.

This newly built hotel made my stay in Oman so enjoyable. Prior to our arrival, the team contacted me and asked me about any preferences I had. I requested for a quiet, nonsmoking room which was on a high floor and they made sure all of my requests were granted. The facilities are well-managed. There is a lot of parking spaces which made it very convenient for me since we rented a car during our stay. The modern design gives a cozy vibe. The pool is so inviting and I must say that all of the recreational facilities are top notch. Another guest traveled with me to celebrate her birthday and the hotel management went out of their way to surprise her with a beautiful setup of the room with balloons and with towels that were creatively folded to look like swans and hearts. After a few hours, we were surprised that they provided scrumptious complimentary birthday cake. Apart from their well-maintained facilities, I must say that their superb guest service really was the cherry on top. I highly recommend staying in this affordable hotel if you want to have a nice and peaceful stay while in Oman. Truly, for travelers like us who are in a budget, we will definitely always stay in Aloft hotel.

Nothing at all

A good, local breakfast is a priority for me. This hotel serves a delicious breakfast. this is not the usual European, simple breakfast. This buffet also included elements of Indian and Arabic cuisine, such as curry beans or whole beans, spring rolls, humus, chicken rolls, and a lot of vegetables. a very nice smiling guy served various forms of eggs. The hotel staff was very open to conversation and very nice. the hotel is new and in a new style, but that doesn't take away from its class. I would definitely recommend this drink to my friends.
