The staff were wonderful. We were touched when they stayed late on Christmas Eve to make us a special dinner. They also let us store our luggage during the inca trail and were quite attentive for our stay. The food is also delicious and not unreasonably priced.

The water heating in the shower needs to be turned on, so make sure you let them know if you want it hotter.

Location is amazing and walking distance to many attractions. Very nice home made breakfast and if you leave at night, they provide you with a sandwich and juice or water, that's very nice of them. Rooms are very clean, bathrooms are very clean. The owners are very helpful. Very safe location. Walking distance to restaurants.

My main issue that I and my kids and other people I talked to we were always freezing in our bedrooms to the degree we had to sleep in our clothes. I was given a better oil heater instead of a broken one I initially had in the room, but it didn't help. A few days later, my kids in their room were given my broken heater instead of the good one they had before. Seriously???? And the other very shocking surprise, that a day before our check out they took off TV from the wall in my room, yes, just removed TV in my room without asking me if I need it. Unbelievable.

This is a boutique hotel located about 1/2 mile from the plaza. It is a climb from the plaza and while our group enjoyed the hike up and down the stairs and roads, many may opt to take a taxi or an uber to get around. The location was ideal for us as it was quiet at night and away from the hustle and bustle which allowed us to sleep well after a day full of activities. We were able to walk to restaurants, shops and historic sites without any issues. The staff are warm and kind and always happy to help in any way. You do need to alert the staff when you are ready to shower as they do keep the hot water off until it is needed, to maintain costs. It only takes about 30 minutes to heat up the water so if you plan accordingly, it's not an issue. We were professional women traveling for fun spending time in Cusco to acclimate to the altitude prior to starting our Salkantay trek to Machu Picchu.

Very helpful staff, ready to help you even if you barely speak Spanish. Rooms are spacious full of sunlight and with high ceilings. There is a restaurant on the lower floor, with a nice view on Cusco from the hill. There is a viewpoint (Mirador de Plaza San Cristobal) nearby, which offers exceptional views I am extremely grateful to all staff, especially to the gentleman who handled night shifts and helped me a lot with early departures to treks and late arrivals from day trips.

We had a wonderful stay in this new hotel. When we arrived each day they had comforting hot chocolate or tea waiting for us. The view of Cusco from breakfast was honestly the best I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly! They had their own restaurant which I wish we had had the time to try as the menu looked delicious.

The unbeatable bird’s eye view of Cusco comes at a small price — the hotel is a bit farther from the town center than others. If you plan ahead not to go back and forth to the hotel throughout the day then it’s fine, and in a pinch it’s still just some 10 minutes walking from the Plaza de Armas.

Great location with some of the friendliest staff we have ever encountered while traveling. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location and has an amazing vantage point of Plaza de Armas and a very short hike to the Saksaywaman Incan ruins.

Skylight in the room let in some sunlight in the mornings.

Excellent location up the top of the hill with a beautiful view. Great breakfast every morning offering cereal, yoghurt, juice, eggs, toast, coffee + tea. Clean well sized rooms with nice bathrooms. Happy to store our luggage for several nights whilst trekking and had it waiting in our rooms when we arrived back.

If you don't like walking up hills then you might not love it but the view is worth it

This hotel was truly a gem and loved my four night stay here. The people running the hotel are very caring people, room and facilities are very clean + comfortable bed and architecturally pleasing. Breakfast was amazing and for days we did day trips, they made us breakfast to go. (Even for 4am) Quiet area, right at the top of the historical center. Easy to walk everywhere.

Great location. Good value. Hot showers. Friendly manager. Having a table and 2 chairs in the room was great. Lobby very pleasant for views and relaxation.

Breakfast (would prefer non-sugar yogurt and cereal options; and wider variety/choice of fresh fruit). Automatic light turning on in hallway during the night (I understand why it turns on, but it’s so bright through the curtains).

The staff were very friendly, polite, respectful and helpful. Jorge, the owner, made me feel welcome and was extremely helpful in becoming familiar with the area.

What was difficult, being in Cusco for the first day, was the altitude. The hotel is located up a hill and I was breathless walking to it. However, the vista was well worth the effort!
