Pretty much everything! The staff was amazing, always on top of everything and if we needed something it was very easy to get or talk to about getting. The room was spacious and very comfortable with a nice bathroom with bidet and the pool was in a charming location that we definitely took advantage of. Our only complaint was that we had booked days at a different location, if we could go back in time we would have just stayed here!

The only thing we could complain about and that would be looking for something is that we didn’t feel like the attached restaurant was worth the price with such good and cheaper options nearby. It was still very tasty and the 20% off was appreciated!

First time visiting siargao and the staff were super lovely and attentive the moment we arrived, made my birthday extra special too. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. Resort was very close to other restaurants and cloud 9. Staff were helpful with organising tours, renting bikes, laundry and airport transfers. WiFi works really well too. There is a booklet in our room which was super helpful with handy tips and information, I appreciate fine details like this for guests who stay. Overall I'm very happy I did my research and trusted my gut to book a room with Kalipay. I would love to come back here and stay for our next visit to Siargao. Thank you Kalipay!

The shower drain blocks up a bit but not a huge issue at all, seems like a simple fix.

We had a great time during our 4 night stays in this resort. The location is great. You can access the beach through a neighbour hotel. Cloud9 is at a less than 5-minute motorbike ride The staff were all very helpful and smiling. Giggsy the Jack Russell is a plus ! Ahah The room is spacious, clean, and all amenities are provided in the room. The warm pool is a big plus as well. Food at the hotel restaurant is also good, nevertheless a little bit pricier than other restaurants around. We would highly recommend going there and would go back if visiting Siargao in the future.

Front office was very helpful in providing whatever services you needed. Made everything very convenient so you can enjoy your stay. Not really walking distance from the main General Luna street where all the action really is but definitely in the middle of a tutu ride from the beach or entertainment center. Perfect for those who like their peace and quiet away from the noise and crowd. Still everything is walkable if you don't mind walking a good15 or 20 minutes in either direction to get to where you want to go. Catching a tutu ride to go anywhere is very simple because they're right outside.

Everything there is pricey so expect to pay more then your average local pesos. Watch out for those coin scams at the beaches selling beads. Got me fooled

Calm and relaxed atmosphere. The garden and pool area was so peaceful The rooms are kept clean daily. Sustainable steps taken - gave us drinking water in the room and reusable water bottle (sterilised) to use during our stay. The team were very friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. They also gave us some local knowledge about how much tricycle fair was reasonable and provided us with reasonable option when it came to tours. The fact they didn't upsell made us feel looked after. At night, they also have a security guard which again made us feel safe.

There is a construction being built in top of the restaurant - but they kept the noise to a minimum which wasn't much of an issue. Their restaurant is on soft launch which meant no dinner service just yet. Hopefully, in the future they will have this up and running. I would like to see a bit more Filipino food on the menu.

This is really a very nice place. There are only 8 rooms . All of which are spacious .. hot water .. air conditioning. Patio .tv and sofa bed. The staff is awesome especially Gian at front desk .. friendly and accommodating (a cake for my wife on her birthday).. Cindy at the resto .. the breakfast and lunch are suburb!! It is quiet place during day and night even tho right on main road .. the swimming pool is always clean and refreshing. .. access to trikes is ample and easy. We met the owner who stopped by one day … dedicated and passionate about making and keeping Kalipay a preferred place to stay!

I like everything about Kalipay Resort. Staff are so warm, friendly and professional. This is my first time to visit Siargao Island and I can say that I found a home in Kalipay Resort. The rooms are amazing, spacious and very clean. It is condo style living in the island. And they provide you with umbrellas, native bags and tumblers while you stay with them, i highly appreciate the anticipated service. I love the heated pool, the peace and quiet and exclusivity for a very reasonable rates Gian and Lileth are very warm and hospitable. Gian is truly excellent in her job! I can't wait to go back ☺

This place is AMAZING! The staff are so attentive and courteous, they’ve helped us with everything, we absolutely loved them! Great location, just a few minutes walk from the General Luna. The hotel is exceptional ! The rooms are so big and cozy, the bed is huge, the shower is big and has enough place for two people. And they’ve thought of everything! There’s a mini fridge in your room with lots of stuff, complimentary drinking water, beach towels, umbrellas for rainy days etc.. You can even order food from the hotel restaurant to your room! And the food is absolutely amazing! The pool area is beautiful and relaxing, and the whole resort is magical !

The only thing missing is a phone in your room to contact the reception.. but that’s really not an issue at all !

I liked that it was small so everything felt personalized! Every staff we interacted went above and beyond! A family member got sick and they were incredibly accommodating. I won’t forget their generosity, and hope to one day return to Siargao and stay here! Facilities were great like the pool! And I really enjoyed the garden! They also have 24 hour security, which is a nice touch! Housekeeping came in every day to clean, which was great! There were always towels (shower & beach) for use. The rooms were incredibly spacious; we were 3 people and it didn’t feel like it was crowded.
