Location was excellent (only 5 or 6 kms from the airport). Fantastic view from our room out to sea. Pool and associated facilities were all very good, with true Austrian thought involved...:-). Food was very good - not many places to get a true Wiener Schnitzel in PH, but this was definitely one!

Can't think of anything. We we only disappointed with one thing, which was that we were only there for two nights - wished it was seven.

We loved our 2 night stay after a busy 4 night stay at Alona Beach. The rooms are big and spacious with a great view from the balcony. My wife's family stayed in the penthouse and that view is spectacular. A great restaurant with many food choices at reasonable prices. Breakfast was good too! The pool and grounds are well maintained and the swings and swing chair overlooking the ocean were a big hit with my family. 2 for 1 happy hour was nice and ALL the staff were friendly and efficient! Had a great chat at the bar with some very nice local expats one happy hour evening too! Thourouly enjoyed our stay!

The resort is just like the pictures and advertising. For us there were no surprises and nothing we didn't like.

Nice facilities- great pool. Restaurant had nice food (slow to come out but the taste was worth the wait). Great cocktails in the bar on a 2 for 1 deal during happy hours. Nice to have a snooker table in the bar area to enjoy a game and a cocktail in the evening. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Reception can help with calling trikes for transport - and really helped us out when our prearranged transport didnt show up, they helped us quickly find an alternative which was great. They can also help book bohol tours and transport for you. We stayed in the penthouse which had lots of space and great views. I was not a fan of the decor, but it has what you need.

As other reviews mention, The location is very isolated. We stayed just for a night to break up our journey from Siquijor to Cebu and to snorkle napaling reef and it was fine for that purpose. The house reef is beautiful but it is very hard to access as it is very shallow a long way before you reach the wall. However once you get out there it is nice- lots of fish and coral. Access would be easier at napaling which would just be a short trike ride away.

An absolute gem. Great snorkeling location. Great service and staff. Rooms are very large and well equipped. Two choice of pillows. Nice Tv. Food was excellent. Best stay in the Philippines thus far. Quiet and peaceful.

It is close to a store but 15 minutes away from Alona Beach. Rent a scooter if you want to go to town.

Staff nice and very accomodating , Location amazing ,, loved the gardens and ocean access truely Devine .. great place to start a holiday and finish one leaving a great taste in your mouth.. out of most of the 5 star places I have stayed within the Phillipines that I would never stay again as they lacked in so many ways Panglao sea Ressort has not overrated themselves or blown there own horn and may have actually been modest and underrated themselves and been humble which was a pleasant surprise in the land of bad accomodation and bad stays lol.

No Negative comments , full recommendations, it is not a new Hotel but has all of the feel good qualities that make up a nice and relaxing stay, its one of the few that I would stay at again.

Small hotel run with love and style. Well laid out rooms and facility; beautiful garden and thoughtful arrangement of outdoor seating, lounging or playing. The sea is right in front of you as well as beautiful sunsets. The restaurant offers various cuisines (the owner is Austrian) and is made with excellency in mind. For a small hotel like this and without a real beach, the stay was very relaxing. We felt being treated like family. The services were also high standards and unexpected for a small business: whether that is the friendly security guard, the massage services or the scooter rentals. No hassle. Good prices and just to relax. We stayed there for five nights and really enjoyed it. We "pampered" ourselves to a beach hotel (BE Grand Bohol; 5 stars) for the last two nights and experienced beautiful beach facilities but the worst food I had on any travel so far and a relatively anonymous/superficial atmosphere. We should have stayed another two nights in Panglao Beach Resort!!

Blackout shades would be great (it is bright daylight really early; 5am ish) and make sure there is always coffee available! :)

My partner and l are 12 days into a 15 day stay. Panglao Sea Resort is a superb experience. We had the good fortune to be here at the celebration of the owners (Alfred) 80th birthday and like the other guests were made to feel most welcome in joining with the staff in a joyous evening. Thank you Alfred and Liesel for your generosity and your kind hospitality. We have been so impressed with the management team and the reception we have received from all the staff has been warm and friendly. The fact that we have to leave in 3 days time. We will miss this place.

A beautiful , secluded property. Good landscaping and easy access to the corals. it is near Napaling Reef where you can see Sardine run. The corals here can rival those in Balicasag and has even a resident turtle when I was here. The room is spacious and can fit 4 of us (family with teenage children) easily. Beds are comfortable. Overall, it is a well design hotel.

It does not have a lift (4 storey bulding). However, the staff helped us with the luggage. Place is rather remote with no facilities (supermarket/restaurant) nearby. Will need transport to get to town.

The building is perfectly constructed for each room to enjoy a breathtaking ocean view. A clean swimming pool, a salt water “groto” cave and the ocean are all swimming options available just steps from the lobby. Delicious food along with smiles from the staff members is the experience.

I don’t think that there is an elevator which may be an issue for elderly staying on the very top floor. The staircase, however, is a very easy climb.

The hotel provide free shuttle service from the airport and the owner was very kind and accommodating. The place is relaxing and exceed our expectations considering its very affordable the beach is good for snorkeling you can see lots of fishes and corals. The breakfast was good too. We really loved and enjoyed our stay.

maybe they can provide aqua shoes and life vest for their guest who wants to snorkel around because there are some sea urchins on the beach.
