Wow, I feel lucky to have stayed here for six nights. Such an incredible spot right on the beach, completely unspoiled and quiet. The restaurant serves delicious food -- from fresh fruit, to pork adobo, and even Japanese specialties! The views are spectacular. I'll miss the rolling waves, calming breeze, and beautiful blue water. I spent a lot of time just relaxing in one of the multiple hammocks under the swaying palms. The rooms have stunning views too, and are well designed with Japanese touches. All necessities included -- fridge, kettle, slippers, etc. with the bonus of a Japanese toilet in our room (Lonely Planet says every room is different). When you stay here, you feel like part of the family. Everyone is so kind and welcoming, happy to help with any request. If you can believe it, there's also a tennis court?!?!

WiFi didn't reach the room very well (we were the furthest away) but was strong at the restaurant. Completely understandable at a more remote location. Water pressure was hit or miss, but did not really impact us. The Japanese toilet more than made up for it:)

A piece of heaven on earth. Genuine and soulful. We are very grateful to God that we found this place. It is a place of rest. All of the staff, working students and the owners, as well as the beauty of the place itself made such an impact in our stay here. Thank you for playing with and giving our children your attention and time - it meant so much to the kids and to us. Thank you for making us feel at home, be part of your community. Thank you for all your humble and cheerful service. Thank you for spending your time with us - all the conversations, the tennis games, night crab hunting, assisting us with all our needs from washing our clothes to adjusting to our meal requests, catching the tuko, cleaning our space whenever we needed it. Thank you for the hospitality and company. We truly appreciated and enjoyed our stay here and honestly felt quite heartbroken that we left too soon. 5 nights is still too short! Thank you most of all for inspiring us (to all the students/staff and owners) - with your dedication in serving others and your thoughtfulness. I will always treasure the beautiful things we learned from you. Very nice place with Seaview and a nice beach too. Balcony was excellent for viewing and drink coffee or beer 🍺. From Garden and restaurant good viewing seaside too. Free good breakfast and The staff were very serviceminded. Very quiet and comfortable. A really relaxing place. 😊😊😊

Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

Their chef is all around, if he or she is engaged in the other role, the kitchen is closed. The water pressure is not that strong.

This Place was so stunningly beautiful. I didnt want to leave that balcony because the view was beyond perfection. The House and the room wear unique and perfectly maintained. The staff was as sweet as the owners. It felt like visting friends. The food was really yummy and the view of the restaurant just picture Perfect. We didnt feel the need to leave that place. It‘s super relaxing and quiet. We‘ll be back for sure!

by far the best resort I have ever visited. I stayed here for 2 days in the superior sweet that has an overlooking view of the beach. The place was extremely clean, and picturesque, the environment was peaceful, the staff were always smiling, the food was good, and the staff lined up to wave me goodbye. Villa Marmarine was originally my 2nd choice, but now I'm sure it will always be my first choice when visiting Siquijor. It's a quiet little GEM and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anybody who is interested in just relaxing and/or doing a bit of diving. Thank you for being such awesome hosts and most importantly, thank you to the staff for just making the entire weekend great.

Nothing, everything at Villa Marmarine was exactly was I was looking for, I'm extremely happy with the service that I have received.

the owners and staff are really lovely and very accommodating. when we arrived, there was a shuttle waiting for us to bring us to the resort and it was for free 🥰 they also offered same when we checked out. the ambience is really relaxing, romantic and cosy. the owners also tried to recommend activities for us to do so we can experience the island more. food was superb and the place is also secure. they also offered free laundry as we stayed there for 5 nights. it was just magical — thank you so much 😊

Beautiful quiet beach to take walks, nice spacious room with view of the sea. We loved the Japanese toilet! The staff is very friendly, some are in training which makes it extra special. Cleaning every day. The whole family came to welcome us and wave goodbye.

No hot shower. It is a bit isolated but we hired a scooter at the resort and drove around the island which was great. The bed is a bit small (there were two but we only used one).

Dagman and his wife were the best hosts and the full staff made us feel like family. the resort itself is beautiful, located directly by the ocean with a very natural beach. it is a place of tranquility and peace. even though the place is outside of the center of Siquijor the staff is very helpful to organize trips around the island by tricycle or van, or you could rent a motorcycle directly on the venue. we loved it and would come back anytime!

for guests staying longer than a few days, more breakfast options would be amazing. the beaches nearby were very natural, the tide unfortunately washes some trash to the shore (unfortunately a very common issue everywhere these days)

The space is amazing, just in front of the sea. And the people working there are super friendly and helpful. The little houses are very comfortable and beautiful.

The cleanliness could be improved, maybe because nature in this country is growing so fast that it's harder to clean, but still. Also, there is a construction on the site that is being demolished which at the moment looks strange.
