Beautiful stay in Dolce Amore Resort. The resort itself was very nice and worth the money we paid for. The pool was great to relax in and the staff were very friendly. They offer free water, beach towels to rent, and anything else you might need during your stay. The room was very clean when we arrived. Bed was comfortable, AC was nice and cool, and the room was spacious. We were in the ground floor next to the pool and could chill in our own private outside area with a table and chairs. They provided us with earplugs as they said it gets noisy but we didn’t have any problems with noise during our stay. The restaurant food was delicious! Authentic Italian food. And the gelato is a must try. A bit pricey but worth trying. Location was pretty decent. We rented a car and it took us 15-20 mins drive from the port, 5mins walk to Paliton beach, and about 30 mins to Cambugahay Falls. I would advise renting a car/motorbike if you want to go around as there aren’t many tricycles that pass by, especially in the early morning/late night. They still don’t accept card so bring cash. Overall, a great stay and would highly recommend!

Lovely little resort. When we arrived and were given the room downstairs, next to the road I was concerned about noise but needn’t have been. With the bathroom door shut you don’t hear a sound from the neighbours and we didn’t have any issue from the road. The staff and owners are incredibly helpful and friendly. The pool is beautiful and we loved the location. Perfect for getting to sights, beaches, restaurants, bars etc by scooter or car. The restaurant was amazing and as guests you just have to let them know you want to eat there and you will have a table at your preferred time. We loved our stay.

Just two minor things. My husband didn’t like the pillows and thought they could be a little less lumpy. The wooden porch chairs were quite hard to sit on after a while. Perhaps get some cushions or consider softer seating.

Our first time staying and dining at Dolce Amore and we were thoroughly impressed. We found this place by chance on booking.com and saw the raving reviews. I can definitely say that all those reviews are accurate. Room - clean, comfortable and has the amenities as advertised Staff - they are all extremely friendly, welcoming, accommodating and attentive. The service is also incredibly quick which is good because they have people queuing up to get a table. So definitely arrange a reservation if you plan to go for dinner because they are really busy Food - we had a diavolo pizza, gnocchi funghi and garlic bread (which went down way too easily), which then led us to add in an order of ham & mushroom pizza. Then to finish it all off, we had a scoop each of their homemade gelato. Everything was divine! If we weren't full from all of that, we would have definitely ended up ordering more. It is on the pricier side of the food served in Siquijor, however, it is worth every peso! This is definitely a place I would 100% recommend to anyone who plans to visit siquijor.

Aesthetically very pleasing and looks as it does in pictures. Real attention to detail on the decor which goes along way. Rooms all had a balcony over looking the pool. Very popular restaurant which meant it got very busy however hotels guests are always treated as a priority. Staff were very helpful and were always available when we needed any help or advise. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay! Restaurant food was excellent.

No clear reception area for hotel guests which meant you had to enter the restaurant when needing anything hotel related which at times felt awkward.

Such a lovely, beautiful clean and comfy place to stay. The staff were helpful, the rooms were perfect and the pool was well maintained. Extra little things lile having a.washing line to hang your clothes, beach towels, free water refills and a key ring to say thank you.for staying. The restaurant was outstanding. The service and food was exceptional.

This is in no means a complaint and would not put us off staying here again..But in the evenings the restaurant was very busy, there is no separate reception area for hotel guests so we did feel a bit awkward to keep disturbing the staff in the middle of dinner service. That being said the staff were always happy to help us..

This property is amazing. The rooms are clean and comfortable and overlook a really nice pool. It’s also a very quick walk (even quicker scoot) to Paliton beach and other restaurants and shops down the street. I loved the access to Dolce Amore restaurant to dine in or eat in my room (mostly on the balcony). The food was truly some of the best Italian food I’ve had! The staff was all so lovely, but a special shout out to Rose who is one of the most wonderful people I’ve met in the Philippines. She made me feel so warm and welcome and cared for. I actually stayed here twice during my time in Siquijor because I loved it so much!

Dolce Amore Resort cannot be faulted. The owner was helpful and assisted with transport to and from the port. You could also rent a scooter directly from the property. The attached Italian restaurant served delicious food, perhaps a little pricey. The Mango salad was lovely. The location is lovely with farm sounds all around. Dolce Amore is like an oasis amidst the rural aspect of Siquijor. All staff very lovely, gracious and helpful. Thank you.

Nothing to dislike about the property.

Very clean room, they cleaned our room everyday. The staff is super kind and helpful, they can provide anything that you may need (rent a bike, PERFECT LUNCH/DINNER, pool towels, shampoo etc. ride to the port).

The pillows were extremely hard. The second day we asked if it was possible to change them and they did it. It was a little noisy due to their neighbour, of course they can’t do anything, and I would prefer if the door could close better because we had a lot of different buzzing every night.

This place was the best accommodation we’ve had in the Philippines. Everything was perfect. It’s located centrally in San Juan. The room was very beautiful and clean, and the staff just made us feel like a part of their family. Everyone was very nice and attentive. I really recommend this place for Siquijor. They have the best restaurant on the island; I've eaten here the best seafood pasta. We had a very good connection to wifi, and we rented a scooter directly from Dolce Amore, which was very convenient. I love it everything here and we will definitely come back!

We had dinner and lunch here several times and all the pastas and pizzas we tried were delicious. - The breakfast provided in the restaurant was also very nice - Rooms are clean and pool is nice! - staff is vey friendly - good quality scooters for rental - the owners were very flexibel when our planning changed

- The room is very noisy due to traffic on the road nearby and Philippines who live near the rooms and wake up early. Would recommend to ask for a room that is not close to the room.
