We loved the hotel. Bathrooms have all you need and are provided with delicately scented Neroli and Bergamot products. Honestly, even the toilet paper deserves to be mentioned. It all brings you comfort. Beds were among the biggest we’ve encountered so far, which we need as we are all tall people. The mattress is quite firm but not overly so for our stiff joints. And you get a variety of pillows offered. Our rooms looked out to a kind of court yard: very quiet. Also, the hotel corridor is covered in carpet and we couldn’t hear anything from those above us either. You can also sleep with the air-conditioning on, it isn’t loud. Breakfast offers a combination of à la carte and buffet. It is all fresh and offers the expected variety. It is a little excessive (7 pancakes and a mountain of bacon for 1 serving, eg) and needs people to have great appetite. Location is perfect. Quiet area next to a park. You easily take a tram to anywhere you want at about 60m from the hotel. Two stops further and you are in Old Town already. It has a police station next door and a Carrefour Express market 30m across the street and an apothecary at 50m. The restaurant is Italian and offers what one would expect from Italian cuisine. All staff is friendly, flexible and accommodating.

I found it a pity there were no fly screens on the windows. But that’s a small thing, because the hotel air was fragrant and pleasant at all times. And although the Italian restaurant Bona is great, as a tourist I would have loved to discover some Polish cuisine options too.

Stunning interiors with luxurious rooms. Great location just a 15min walk or 5min tram from the centre square, with a convenience store just across the road. Due to being a small hotel, the lift was always available and came quick.

Slightly rubbery pillows, but very comfy beds otherwise. Small divot in shower tray directly where you stand which was a-bit annoying, and small amounts of mould in the grouting (but I have seen this in most nice hotels I have stayed in so may be more of a general issue hotels face). Breakfast add-on was quite expensive at £17pp a day, but there were plenty of cafes nearby. An unprofessional reception staff member was laughing as we were checking in, but seemed like she was new and maybe unfamiliar with what she needed to do

The hotel is in a good location, less than a 10 minute walk into Krakow Centre with good selection of cafès and bakeries nearby. The hotel breakfast provided a great selection of food options. Hotel rooms were stunning, clean and spacious. I organised the Auschwitz Tour through the hotel which I would highly recommend. Would also like to note the hotel staff were excellent in replying to any queries raised through the booking.com messenger service.

The mini bar in the room was locked and in order to unlock a key was required by the reception staff and a fee. With the warm weather, it would be ideal to have access to the mini bar without paying extra in order to store water etc.

The hotel is stylishly decorated. Bathroom very good. The staff were very good including the bartender especially. The location is great - about 15 minutes' walk to old town centre and handy for the trams which are frequent and easy to use.

The room we were offered first on the 5th (top) floor was in the gabled roof so had rooflights, not windows. We didn't like this so asked to be moved and the staff were very responsive. The new room was better but rather small - there was no room to sit comfortably together on chairs. The breakfast was good but expensive at 90 z. Also the way it is presented - everyone automatically gets a 3-tier stand with fruit, meat, cheese, salad etc - means there is a lot of wastage. We went to a great cafe over the road level with the tram stop (Bococa) and had a great breakfast there - recommended and much cheaper.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It is a completely renovated building and the hotel is brand new, it started working in 2023 thus everything you touch in the room is brand new. Very comfortable beds, very nice room, spacious and well decorated. I highly recommend this hotel. When you stay in Krakow, if you want peace and quiet it is better to stay in a hotel outside the main square. The location of this hotel is great as it is 1km away from the main square but you always go straight through one street so there is no way you can get lost.

There is nothing I didn't like. We booked just the room without the breakfast because the price of 17 euros per person seemed too high for Poland for us.

As a travel blogger at WhereAngieWanders.com, I stay in many hotels, so I knew I was in for a great stay as soon as I entered the newly opened hotel, The Crown. With a friendly welcome from the receptionists Karolina and Bartek and a subtle aroma being pumped through the hotel, we looked around at the beautiful Art Decor fittings and sculptures on display and knew we had chosen well. The rooms are beautiful with art deco styling, sumptuous materials, and a fabulously comfortable bed. The bathroom is well-appointed, and the power shower is revitalising. Luxury toiletries smell divine. Returning to our room after spending chilly days exploring Krakow in winter was a treat. Housekeeping is excellent; just be prepared for the bottled still water in the room to taste strange (if coming from the UK). It was more like sparkling water that had gone flat. It certainly has an unusual taste. The Crown has a restaurant; however, we only ate there for breakfast, which I highly recommend; the scrambled eggs and omelette were cooked and presented beautifully. There is a small coffee/cake area to get a great flat white or cappuccino. My only criticism of this area is that the management seems to use it as their workspace with laptops, etc., so each day we went for coffee, we had to sit in the restaurant (which was fully laid for dinner) as there was nowhere left to really sit and relax in the coffee shop as it is tiny. The Crown is a short way from the Old Town and Market Square. It took us around 10-15 minutes to walk in, and there are two tram stops right by the hotel, which will take you anywhere you need to get to in the city. If you want to visit the Jewish Quarter, jump on number 24 ( tickets can be bought from the blue machine in front of the three food kiosks on the opposite side of the road to the tram. Tickets cost around 75p.

The management shouldn't use the coffee shop as an office. One disappointment was that there was only one news channel and one sports channel in English, and the Samsung TV didn't pair with our iPhone to enable us to stream a film. This needs to be addressed for non-Polish guests.

This was likely the best hotel I have stayed it and totally exceeded all my expectations. The staff were amazing and the room finishing / quality / comfort and ammenities were beyond what I expected. It was a great location and certainly sets an incredble standard for other hotels. I will certainly recommend it to all in future.

The lobby is a little confusing at first, as are the different entrances or what is prefered by the hotel to be used at different times. I wish could have stayed longer and tried out more of the facilities.

This hotel is brand new and still smells new. Everything is nice and clean. The room was spotless and some were the other areas of the hotel. Excellent value for money and definitely recommend this place for your stay in krakow. They also have security cameras in the corridors too which is comforting as a solo female traveller. The food on the restaurant was lovely too.

The menu in the restaurant could have more options and be a bit clearer as to whether the items are vegan or vegetarian friendly

Absolutely lovely decor. Location ten minute walk outside the main square. Or catch a tram for about a pound. It’s three stops down the line. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beds and pillows are top class.

Only one issue is if your room faces the Main Street you can hear trams running all night. But soon got used to it.
