I was very happy with our stay but upon arrival I was told the fee in which I had agreed/booked with booking .com was not what I had to pay....I ended up having to pay 20euro MORE. The staff could only say this is because it was euro which made no sense and I was very annoyed. It was not City tax charge as I checked my booking and no where in it did it say I would have to pay another fee on arrival. Very disappointed booking.com

The hidden fee. Would like booking.com.to check this out please and break down why it was charged and what it was for.

The hotel is situated in the centre of Warsaw and can easily be reached from the airport (the bus stop is not faraway) and the train station (15 minutes walk). The Old Town is some 15-20 minutes walk. There are many shops and restaurants around. When I was booking, only Deluxe rooms were available, so I had one of those. It was nice, clean, had a safe, a fridge and a kettle (highly appreciated). Wifi worked without any problems. There was some noise from the street but nothing unbearable. In fact, there is some construction work going on opposite the hotel but it never interfered with my stay. I did not have breakfast at the hotel, instead I went to a bakery 5 minutes from the hotel which I liked very much. There is a restaurant serving Polish food in the hotel, it looked nice but I did not have an opportunity to go there. Overall, I was very happy with this hotel and would not hesitate to book it again during my next trip to Warsaw.

1) It was a bit cold in the room and the air conditioning, while on, did not seem to affect the temperature in the room. 2) The lift in the main building is very "lazy".

Great location. Close enough to walk from the central train station and close to the Royal walk and lots of great restaurants, cafes and bars. Building was a bit Communist Era with rather severe foyer and reception… but that has its own charm in a way.

Bathroom was newly tiled but seemed to be a big missed opportunity to upgrade it to something better. It had a bath and to have a shower I had to stand in the bath… BUT the hose shower head was fixed to the wall at about knee height… what the hell? The curtain was too small so big gaps at each end and it didn’t even reach down to bath level so as you need to hold the shower hose and move it over your body to wash, the water goes everywhere. Really bad design. Something else that could be done better is the curtains. There is no point having block out curtains if they are not long enough at either end… make them longer so you get true block out.

It's a good option if you want to get a simple room in the city center for a reasonable price. 1. Location is perfect! Just right in the city center. And it's very close to the railway station as well. Neighborhood is nice and lovely with many cafes and bars. 2. Room was spacious and clean. Even though it's pretty old, the quality is good. You have a kettle, necessary facilities, so everything was fine. 3. We had a very late check-in but it's not a problem as the receptionist is there 24/7.

Of course, the hotel is old and you need to be ready for that. But everything is so clean and spacious, so if you accept that it's old, it won't be an issue for you at all :)

Clean and spacious. Room was mega big and very comfortable. The bathroom was excellent with a superbly powerful shower. The only downside was a completely useless soap dispenser. We only used the little Polish restaurant, which was very good, so I can't comment on breakfast or the dining room. There was a little bar around the corner from the reception, but it was without any atmosphere. Maybe there was something more interesting in another part of the building.

Nothing really. There is a lot of building work going on around the hotel which makes access to the underground garage a bit difficult, but there's not a lot the hotel can do about that.

Upper floors of the hotel were very warm in the hallway, but thankfully opening one of the windows in the unit was sufficient to get things just right. Interesting older, but durable furniture was adequate, and the unit was spacious. Two short blocks to a Main Street that must be walked by visitors. A single bus on that street takes one to Old Town and a leisurely walk back puts you by most of the things you want to see. Some very pricey steak restaurants we skipped, some great polish type spots for breakfast or other meals were fine.

There was nothing to dislike.

Our room got upgraded to a suite cause they probably ran out of the room we booked initially, which was a very nice surprise. The suite was VERY SPACIOUS. I think our booked room would've been half of the size of the suite. The suite had a bedroom with a separate bathroom (shower and a tub) and a separate toilet room, a kettle, two tvs, and it seemed that the sofa could turn into a bed too. We really liked the room. The breakfast selection was superb. The only thing I missed was a wider selection of bread. The rest was amazing. Location of the hotel is pretty amazing too. Close to bus stations and the main railway station. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby too. Good connection to the airport. The staff we interacted with were all very polite and nice.

Rooms are a bit outdated to be honest. But it adds to the charm of the hotel. And the bed was a bit too firm for my liking. Otherwise I have no complaints.

The location was really very good, 5 minutes walk to the Royal road and bus stop. From there we could walk for 15 minutes to the Royal palace, castle, Barbican, Kopernikus, hotel Bristol cathedrals etc. From the bus stop we took bus 180 or 116 to Lazienski and Villanow palaces and gardens. Breakfast was really nice with a variety of local and continental food.

The room had some old fashioned furniture and the carpets were clean but shady and worn. The bathroom was clean but old fashioned with tiles from the 80s and a bathtub. Apart from a bottle (500 ml) per person left every day at the room no drinking water for free in the hotel. No water machine and we had to pay about 4 euros for a bottle of water at the hotel's bar.

Location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city, close to many points of interests, close to Royal Route, etc. Staff could not keep up with the scrambled eggs, each time, I attempted to get some, they were already out, however, food was good quality with ample options. Room was a little dated but overall met my expectations for a 3-star hotel.

The only improvement the hotel could make is to deep clean the bathroom tiles and grouts. Some of those were showing signs of mold building up and that needs a little attention. Accommodations are a little dated and could use some fresh touches.
