Everything about this hotel was FAB. It's in a stunning location looking out to the sea and even though out room was at the back of the hotel we had a lovely city view. The room itself was spotless and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing, with a lot of options to suit all tastes.and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. A special mention for Manuela at reception, who was very helpful in giving us directions to a lovely walk along the cliff top to a lighthouse tourist attraction with lovely eateries

The staff starting at the front desk, to the waiters, maids, bartender were extremely helpful, hospitable, kind and always in a good mood and willing to make us feel at home. The location is undeniably the perfect spot to enjoy all thatCascais has to offer!!!!!! It is walking distance to everything! Shops, restaurants, beach, pharmacy, train station...and We were lucky enough to enjoy Festas do Mar which were live concerts and entertainment right in front of our eyes! We had a sea view room and I would book it time and time again! The view front our balcony was breathtaking! Do not hesitate to stay at Hotel Baia! It will not disappoint!

The hotel definitely needs a Gym and more lounge chairs on the rooftop! And yoga on the beach would be nice too!

The staff was really nice. We had half board and they immediately remembered our preferences for the rest of the stay. The receptionists were always very helpful. The premises were nice and clean. The breakfasts were very good, typical continental with eggs and bacon etc as well as nice pastries. Dinners were fancy, 3 courses of fine dining. Even though it was limited for me as I am lactose intolerant, the restaurant staff did their best to accommodate it, for example by offering me sorbet as a dessert since there was no no-lactose desert in their dinner menu. Overall, though, we agreed that this was definitely a great hotel and was well worth the price. It said it was a 3 star hotel but we thiught it was definitely high 3 or nearly 4 star-like.

This was unfortunate for us but we were there during a festival that was right outside of the hotel, so it was quite loud there and the hotel had some staffing problems so some things took more time than expected. Also, the dinner menu was limited, and did not change during our stay, maybe because of the festival going on there. So by dinner 4 it was difficult to choose so it's not repetitive. Not ideal if you have allergies or intolerance like I do. Another downside was the temperature of their inside pool. We'd hoped it would be at least 24 but it was only 21-22 degrees Celsius, most people opted not to go in and instead just lay in the sun. I may be mistaken but I think it was pretty cold for most people.

Great location overlooking the sea. Short walk to the railway station. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area. We ate two very nice evening meals in the hotel restaurant.

It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Location was fantastic, right in front of a small beach and in the city center. There was also a Christmas market which was fun. Breakfast was very good, staff were helpful and nice. There was parking - you had to pay extra and it was worth it. We had a balcony with wonderful view. There is a nice place to sit and work (after breakfast, it's in the dining room area.

The room was a bit small, we did not have much space for our luggage. The pool - was one of the reasons we chose the hotel because we swim. It was much too cold to use it. The water was cold and also the pool area. We tried it once and left immediately. The place needs a way to warm the pool area, so you can dry on a bed there without freezing.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We left our baby stroller outside the room, and it went missing. The staff were incredibly supportive, helped us locate it, and even sent some cakes and snacks to our room as an apology. We were staying there for our son's birthday and were delighted to receive a wonderful surprise in our room on his special day. The hotel's location is excellent, close to many sightseeing spots, restaurants, and the beach.

The hotel does not have a gym. The room size is a bit small.

I liked the personnel mix: there were personnel in solid ages, but also youngsters. It gave me the expression, that this is a company with long history and solid background. Although the hotel was newly renovated, it had kind of feel of old colonial time. There was a covered swimming pool, which could be used even in November. The room (without balcony) had enough space for luggage and stuff even for longer stay.

On Saturdays there might be concerts in the open square behind the house till midnight, which is loud, even, if you are on the 5th floor and windows are closed.

We have stayed at the Baia several times over the years and this time we noticed the upgrade of the hotel. It is in an excellent location, on the beach and at the same time in the centre of town. You can walk everywhere whilst leaving the car in the parking down below.

We had arrived fairly late the first night after my wife had had a very long flight from Asia, so we decided to eat in the restaurant. The service was impeccable but the quality of the food and the time it took to come left a lot to be desired. A shame as it spoiled what was otherwise an excellent stay.

Exceptional concierge staff who were always friendly, helpful and kind. Loved the big room, all modern and clean. Also really liked the breakfast area all under a see-through ceiling to let the sunshine beam down on the delicious spread. Appreciated the underground parking which was available even after checkout. The location is super central: walk out and you're on the beach. I went during the Festa do Mar which is an annual music and cultural festival that happens just in front of the hotel.

Because of the Festa do Mar, I wasn't able to park at the hotel as the police didn't even allow guests to use that street. In fairness, the hotel informed beforehand that the street would be closed. They gave me some tips but unfortunately, it didn't work.
