We really enjoyed our stay here , nice modern decor, large spacious apartment with good aircon system, everything you need to a self catering stay , new towels and bedding each day , welcome drink and some extra goodies in our room on arrival and relaxed quiet atmosphere around the hotel pool and jacuzzi area , we often had the pool to ourself which was nice , also had a nice but small honestly bar, great idea for enjoying a rooftop beer. We stayed over new year and the prices were very reasonable, perfect location for us , near lido area however only 15-20 min walk into town , half an hour walk to old town, many nice restaurants and bars in the area , sports bar on the corner . We visit Madeira every year and we will definitely return to this hotel .

There wasn’t anything at all we didn’t like , however If I had to think of something to improve on, it would be nice if the honesty bar stocked some mini wine bottles. Or something else to drink perhaps . Also they do have a small charge for sauna , which I felt was very fair however it might be a nice gesture to allow 1 use per stay for people .

In general, the hotel is clean, cosy and fully equipped. As for the accommodation, we stayed in an apartment with a separate bedroom, kitchenette, two balconies and a huge bathroom. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the stove and refrigerator worked perfectly. The room had air-conditioning, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel has a simple pool on the terrace, an amazing view and a self-service bar. It also has a sauna and a jacuzzi. The hotel also has a reading room with a few shelves full of books, TV and board games. The staff was really nice and always available to help. The hotel is decorated with vivid colours and taste. Around the hotel, you can find all kinds of restaurants and small markets. Only 30 min walking distance from the centre of Funchal.

Upon arrival, we had an issue with the garage spot reserved. It is better to confirm the reservation a few days before arrival. In any case, the staff was very considerate and solved the problem promptly. For consideration, even though it is not necessarily bad, the hotel's parking garage is small and tricky to navigate. It is better to rent a smaller car.

Staff were extremely welcoming. They couldn’t have been more helpful. It’s was my boyfriend’s birthday they kindly left a delicious cake for him. The room was bright, clean and spacious. Good size fridge and cooking utensils. 2 balconies, One from the room and another 3 steps from your front door The pool and jacuzzi on the roof was such a great bonus, with an honesty box for ice cream etc. Lovely spot to relax away from the hustle and bustle. Super handy car parking under hotel. Make sure you pre book. Sadly we didn’t get breakfast as needed urgent treatment in the middle of the night. The staff were just so kind and helpful throughout the how ordeal we are truly thankful. We would definitely recommend this hotel and amazing staff

The rooms are huge! Great bed, functional kitchen, clean space! The pool and jacuzzi are really nice with crystal clear water! Staff is always cordial. The location is really good with restaurants and bars around. There is also a Pingo Doce Supermarket about 10 min from the hotel. For me the best thing was to see the sunshine from my balcony.

The garage is not big so only a few cars can park. So you have to book a parking spot in advance. I booked and that was not an issue.. but I wonder how it works when they have a full hotel.. The space available is not easy for big cars.

Well located in Sao Martinho within 20 minutes walk to the center, a lot of good restaurants in the vicinity. Clean, spacious rooms. A good choice of fruits for breakfast (paradoxically, absent in many other Madeira hotels). Comfortable beds and pillows. In all, an excellent value for money.

You can always find some shortcomings. The bathroom, though very spacious, has some little design flaws. The toilete paper is always jumping to the floor, and when you pick it up, watch out the metal pipes, if you are higher than 175 cm. The breakfast buffet is good, but a sort of monotonous, if you stay for a long period. We didn't like the air conditioner, it worked in a bit weird manner. But these shortcomings do not offset the positive features of this hotel.

our balcony faced the street. if you prefer quieter times , it may not be for you. you don’t hear any noises if you close balcony doors. however, if you prefer not to use air con and get fresh air it may be a bit noisy.

Loved the location, the spcious and comfortable rooms and the rooftop pool and facilities. The beds were comfortable and the cleaning service very good. The excellent choice and quality of breakfast. All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful but must make special mention of Noemie , on reception who always had a big smile and was ready to help with our many queries. Also Fatima in the resstaurant who providded a great breakfast service and was a pleasure to see every morning. Hard to find anything neggative to ssy about tthis lovely small and friendly hotel. Will definitely book again.

The only negative was the toaster in the restaurant which took an awfully long time and resulted in very hard and dried out toast. Would love to see a more efficient one on our next visit.

Great breakfasts. Friendly and efficient staff -- for example, the waiters and waitresses remembered that I liked egg white omelets with cheese and they made a special effort to fix them for me. The roof-side pool had an "Honest Bar" where we could serve ourselves reasonably priced beer and ice cream and record it in their book; that is, they trusted us to do an accurate accounting. The rooms were clean; we had fresh towels and sheets every day. The location was close to bus lines so we were able to see many of the sites in Funchal without having to rent a car. Roomy rooms with a safe and refrigerator and mini-kitchen and hair dryer and a balcony for drying swimsuits!

We really enjoy our stay! Our room was upgraded to really nice apartment, the location is perfect - the city center is reachable by foot. It' also very nice path to Camara de Lobos from the hotel! What's more, we enjoyed so much pool and jaccuzi - it's great that despite of "winter" season, the water heating works there. Breakfast had everything what we needed. It was nice surprise that we could try local fruits and even Prosecco with strawberries in the morning! :) The staff is smiled and helpful. Thank you for welcome glass of Madeira wine! :)

Maybe parrots in restaurant downstairs was too loud, hahah. Everything was perfect!

Very friendly staff, nice botique hotel with rooftop jacuzzi and pool that can be used till around 22.00 in pre season when the weather is nice; very good breakfast with a lot of variety that can be also ordered freshly made from the kitchen Slippers and bathrobes included - nice! Hotel is situated near the Lido where you can get by foot

got a room next to the street which was noisy; just one blanket for two people (I prefer to have my own one) but we got the room on short notice within 2 hours - so this is complaining on a high level ;)
