Breakfast was very good, fresh. room was clean. bed had a mattress protector, that's important from a cleanliness aspect. nott all accommodations have them and they should. Hotel is very close to the town centre and the train station. Staff were very helpful and although the receptionist said her English was not good it actually was very good. Far better than my attempt at Portuguese.

Not a complaint but a suggestion. the website mentioned bicycle hire but couldn't find more info. It's not very British to ask ( our fault I know it's just a British thing) a leaflet in the room or at the desk would have been useful. Secondly everything except the fresh fruit is covered in the dining room at breakfast time. Unfortunately we observed a guest, a workman, sneeze right over the fruit. a cover would have been helpful. we never tried the fruit after that. Hope these comments help in making the hotel even more popular.

I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE HOTEL, GREAT STAFF, GREAT LOCATION, GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY, SUPER QUIET HOTEL. I WILL RETURN WITH MY FAMILY SOMETIME. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL IF YOU ARE VISITING FUNDAO, THE LOCATION IS SIMPLY THE BEST, YOU HAVE GREAT RESTAURANTS, CAFES AND MANY PLACES TO GO ALL AT YOUR DOOR STEP.

I liked the decoration of the space. I loved the breakfast and the view from my bedroom. I could see some buildings, it's true, but also the landscape and mountains in the distance. The bedroom was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I was there in the winter and did not feel cold. The bedroom is well equipped and it's cozy.

Breakfast was ok, although the eggs were not always available at 7am, location was excellent as were the staff. Did have issues with wi if reception and the tv in the room did not receive a signal for at least 2 days.

We loved the staff attitude, the vegan consideration at breakfast, the clean place, the comfortable beds. We had a very fine dinner at the near by restaurant under the same ownership.

1. Unfortunately no double bed room was available when we arrived. 2. There was a safe in the room but it had to be locked with a key which was missing. 3. No kettle in the room for an early cup of tea before breakfast.

Breakfast was good with varied options. The room was spacious and offered everything one may need. The location is great in the town centre but the room was still quiet.

Too much light in the room during the night. The room in general was clean but a couple of spots needed improvement.

There was a long very balcony , ??????? No table or chairs out side to enjoy it.

The room was good clean the bed was good breakfast was excellent..

The fridge needs upgrading and the bathtub is too deep, my wife had a lot of trouble getting into it other then that it's a good place to stay, thank you..peace

Very nice staff. The receptionist was very helpful. Hot water was not working in my room. He got it fixed instantly. Decent breakfast. Great location & good value for your money. Highly recommended

This is my second visit and I will continue to stay here. It’s centrally located with walking distance to just about everywhere. Clean and very comfortable beds.

My WiFi didn’t work well in my room but elsewhere in the hotel it did. I have a suggestion to put some kind of placard to show how to work the shower, also the shower floor is slippery so could use some kind of stickers to prevent slipping.
