Great hotel, great staff. Pay attention to all the reviews, you will NOT get good sleep here even with the supplied ear plugs unless you are on the 4th floor. This hotel is in the bar district practically on PINK street, lots of people and traffic noise. The worst is the DISCO next door which is open every single night till 6am, where people go once the bars close at 2am. The hotel staff graciously moved us to the 4th floor after we said we couldn’t sleep for the first 2 nights, but even then we still used earplugs.

paying for a deluxe river view room and receiving a room facing a side street. the staff unapologetically stated that they were out of the room we had prepaid for and refused to credit us for the difference. just too bad for you was the response

We recently stayed at LX Boutique Hotel and was thoroughly impressed with its prime location and charming atmosphere. Situated close to the old town, it’s ideal for exploring Lisbon’s history, vibrant streets, and local culture. The hotel is also perfectly located for those who love dining out, with fantastic restaurants and lively bars just a short walk away. The room was lovely, featuring a stunning view of the river, which provided a peaceful and scenic backdrop. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall experience. A particularly memorable touch was the afternoon offering of port wine and pastéis de nata for guests—a delightful way to enjoy a taste of Lisbon. Overall, LX Boutique Hotel combines comfort, excellent service, and a perfect location. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lisbon!

What didn’t we like about the hotel? Nothing at all—it was perfect in every way!

We got upgraded to the suite. The views are stunning from the rooftop terrace. Style of the hotel is very tasteful, and rooms are super comfortable. Everything is super clean and comfy. It was really cute they had free pastries and port wine every day. Staff were very friendly and professional.

There were some workers doing a paintjob outside on the terrace which as such is no problem. But they were staring at us which made it hard to ignore them. You have to drag your luggage up a few stairs when you enter the hotel from the street, but that's minor.

A beautiful hotel, both in the common areas as well as in our room. Great beds too! I also enjoyed that they offered free port and pasteis de nata in the afternoon and they were quite good!

My only complaint is that our bathroom was covered floor to ceiling in a plastic, weave-like covering (reminiscent of a place mat). I don't know if the material has a slight funky smell to begin with, or it was not totally cleaned/or can't be totally cleaned of urine. The smell wasn't super strong, but bothered me nonetheless.

Lx Boutique Hotel is a haven in the midst of a city filled with excitement. The location offers guests abundant transportation options for exploring the city & is near a bustling avenue & train station. The rooms are artfully designed and decorated, creating an oasis for weary visitors. The breakfast features a wide range of pastries, fruits, proteins & magnificent coffee. The staff are wonderfully attentive & professional. We loved discovering the colorful neighboring Pink Alleyway, filled with dining options & even a poetry bookstore cafe.

Sometimes a bit noisy.

We had a corner room with a view of the River. The room was very cleanly decorated & comfortable. The staff was friendly & helpful. We only ate breakfast at the hotel on one day, which was delicious, but we wanted to try some other local restaurants too. The hotel is walkable to just about everything in town. We really enjoyed our stay there.

Some nights (mainly Friday & Saturday) the busy sounds of the street could be heard, but it is a fun part of town. An electric water kettle in the room would be a nice addition, but I realize that takes up space.

We had room 202 which was an adequate size for a one night stay. Loved the bathroom. The staff were very helpful on check-in and helped with our cases to our room (as we had a few!). The room was nicely laid out and very clean. They booked us into the restaurant attached to the hotel called Confraria which was an excellent sushi restaurant. Breakfast was also served in the restaurant and this was a nice selection of continental items.

At time of booking I did not realise that the hotel backs on to Pink Street and there is unfortunately noise from this street until around 6am in the morning. We were very luck that we stayed on Easter Sunday and whilst we had noise this did not stop us from sleeping as I believe this was probably a lot quieter than it would have been at other times. The hotel does provide ear plugs but I am not sure they would block out the bass noise from the nightclub. The only other thing to be aware of is that there are steps up to the front of the hotel if you have a few cases so a little difficult to navigate!

Great location with a sea view to the south and the place is located in the middle of all popular tourist attractions. A bus hub and metro is 3 minutes away. The front desk offered us a free upgrade when we arrived, which has an awesome view.

Although an elevator is available inside, the outside only has stair access. The AC is centrally controlled, you cannot change the fan speed or temperature. Thus you might find the temperature too hot or cold. I suggest the hotel keep that around 25 degrees.

Lovely small hotel in the bustling heart of Lisbon, perched right above the 'Pink Street' and near the river. My room was small, cosy, well-organised, and bright with three tall windows. I requested a river view and they accommodated me. There's coffee available in the lobby and they provided a kettle in my room when I asked. Lively music from the Pink Street at night when I had windows open, but big shutters kept it quiet and dark enough to sleep well. Kind and helpful staff.

I would have liked a desk or table in the room.
