It is a quiet building in a residential area. The room has a balcony with good views towards Praça Marquis de Pombal and across the street towards Parque Eduardo VII. The room has small bedside tables with a water decanter and drinking glasses. Going to Marquis de Pombal and Avenida da Libertade is convenient and Praça de Restauradores is an easy walk. Coming back by taxi is easiest. These hills at Pombal are really something!

Room 5 could use a small table or desk for my wallet, watch, keys, coins, and backpack. The bedside tables are already in use and are too small for other uses. Brighter lights, please. Oh, no. I'm old. The lamp in the dining area sideboard and in the WC are adequate. From midnight to eight a.m. more light is needed. 🔦 The corridors need faster motion sensor responses. These are tiny changes. the sleeping rooms and public areas are nicely furnished. I will stay here agsin.

Magnolia guesthouse is a very stylish building with nice Rooms, equipped with all You need during stay.The owner of the place is there to help you every time u need, a lovely Lady. Its easy to access all attractions: bus stop downstairs...metro station in close distance. Breakfast was very good ! Its very clean and neat

I liked everything

Nicely decorated guesthouse, just great, if you want to feel like you live in Portuguese house. Rooms are spacious. Good value for money and convenient location. The staff is really friendly and helpful, it was really nice to get some recommendations about places in Lisbon.

It’s not soundproof, so you can hear neighbors pretty well. And you need to keep in mind shared bathrooms. Breakfast could be better, some fresh pastries would really make a difference. Also climbing to the hotel from the metro with a luggage could be a challenge, so consider going by bus.

Location, very clean , friendly owner

Raquel was a lovely hostess. Her communication was excellent and timely. We had absolutely no problem reaching our destination with her directions and getting into the house was very easy, again with clear instructions. Location was good. It is right on a bus line. It was also good for walking. Breakfast was good, simple but good. It was very clean.

The only thing I could say I did not like was that the lighting in the rooms was a bit dim. I like to read, but because the light was low, I didn't read much.

Host lady is very friendly and helpful. She gave us useful information about the city. Accommodation is nice, comfortable, romantic and the location is close to public transport and other facilities. It is January and it was quiet but the weather was sunny and it felt like a spring time. The price was good and reasonable for this time of year. Because it wasn’t busy, we could check out later than normally.

The accommodation is on the hill and you have to climb up but so is the whole Lisbon. Luckily there is a bus stop in front of the door. Thanks for your advice and info Raquel :)

Raquel was one of the kindest hosts we've ever met. The room was clean and charming. The shared bathroom was always spotless. The breakfast was simple, but we had everything we needed (coffee, eggs, ham, oats, fruit, etc.).

Everything was perfect, but if you have a hard time sleeping, this place might not be for you, as it’s next to a busy street with cars passing by all night. Also, a small wall mirror in the room would be a nice addition. :)

The room was big and comfortable with 2 beds,the only downside is that it was facing a busy road which meant that it had a bit of road noise in the evenings. I solved this by closing the window to stop the noise and it worked. The bathroom was shared with 2 other rooms in the guesthouse and it was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was served every morning from ca 08.30 to 10.00 and it had everthing you needed,including bread,cereals,brioche and more. The staff Raquel and fatima was wery helpful in every way. I would like to stay there again in the future.

Very close to public transport. Super comfy bed. Dressing gown provided. Lovely apartment building . Raquel very good at communicating.

No cafe bars close by and recommended restaurants close as crow flies but tricky to actually get to. My one really in the area was truly awful.

Great location. Walking distance from Marques De Pombal station. It is on a hill. Apartment is very cosy and quaint. Beautiful music is very comforting. It has such rustic charms and mood lighting. Breakfast was very nice. Just perfect combination. I really enjoyed it. Very pleasant and friendly host. Everything is great. Bathroom is clean. There is an elevator. So don't look further!
