Great hotel and amazing staff. Very comfortable rooms and nice rooftop swimming pool.Good selection at breakfast.

The only thing I would criticize is that this is perhaps not the best hotel for small children. Still there were many small kids and lots of children were playing loud in the small pool. During breakfast there was lots of noise and crying. If this is intended for small children, I think it would be better to have separate area outside with some playgrounds. I think the facilities as they are work better for adults only ( 16 +)

Beautiful, spacious room with an amazing view across Lisbon and the river Tejo. The room was very clean, as was the hotel and the staff were attentive and kind, that made all the difference to my stay. The rooftop pool area is a sun trap for those that are sun worshippers but there are covered sun beds too, it was great sitting up there in the daytime even in the winter season even though the bar was not open. Fantastic, quality breakfast (unfortunately a bit limited on the vegan options). The main pool, gym and sauna/ steam facilities were great. Central location but without being in the busiest part of Lisbon, great transport links and lots of places to walk to within 30 minutes or so. It was also great to be close to lots of eateries inside and nearby the Amoeiras shopping centre which is 5 minutes away. Excellent running nearby with great views if you join the running track that leads to Monsanto Park. Throughly enjoyed my stay.

There were a few vegan options as standard each day, e.g. fruit, chia pud, fruit juice, tea and coffee, plant milks, some breads, houmous, baked beans and mushrooms but in never quite felt like a full breakfast with the vegan options being a tiny fraction of the breakfast buffet. The staff did prepare sautéed vegetables for me each day but I felt a bit disappointed by the lack of variety and lack of flavour, for this reason breakfast never really felt like a complete meal. I would recommend increasing the range of options for vegans and please find some vegan pastries (croissants, pastel de natas, etc.!) in this case the score would be a 10.

Exceptional Stay with Superb Service and Stunning Amenities I thoroughly enjoyed every detail of this property. The staff provided outstanding customer service, and the hotel itself was breathtaking. The indoor spa area offers instant relaxation the moment you step off the elevator, and the rooftop pool, along with the stunning views, were exceptional. The heated pool was perfect for the cool, windy evenings. The rooms were well-appointed, with thoughtful touches like turn-down service, plenty of storage, the shower with provided three different options with great water pressure, and complimentary water, which is essential for travelers. Walking into the room felt incredibly welcoming, making our stay truly unforgettable.

It was really five star hotel, wonderful facilities,comfortable and large room,very clean, wonderful service and friendly staff. Totally I was so happy that I trusted the reviews and chose this hotel.location also was good for us that we have kids , it wasn’t noisy and it was close to shopping mall and easy to walk to the downtown and enjoy the beautiful streets and shops. The breakfast also was amazing.I totally recommend this hotel to everyone.

Only thing that I didn’t like was the timing of the indoor pool for kids which was by 12:00 PM which is too early specially in rainy day which you want to use hotel facilities for your kids. I recommend to extend it by 4:00 PM which is better for the families with small kids.

Great location a short walk from the city centre which made it feel more peaceful. Room was clean and spacious with plenty of storage options and a modern feel. Option of inside and outside pool which never felt crowded. We loved the sauna too (went everyday!). Staff were attentive and helpful. Great selection for breakfast and option to ask for food made fresh in the kitchen (needed for toast, fried eggs etc) Easy to get to and from the hotel as it is close to a few bus stops and a short walk to the metro

The hand soap wasn't refilled for a number of days so we eventually had to call reception although it was then quickly resolved. Some confusion at both check in and check out as they asked for payment both times even though I had pre paid via booking.com Would have been useful to have times for breakfast/ pool opening times displayed in the room or via the online room assistant

Impressive breakfast. The room and the delicate lighting and decor. The generic cleaning of every place. The central location and the silent and quietness of the rooms and corridors.

I believe that restricting the indoor pool to adults is not appropriate. Children should be allowed to use the pool equally. Not allowing children to use the pool at any time is simply not correct. Anyone using a pool in a spa simply needs to follow rules of adequate silence and proper behavior and by breaking those rules yes it would make sense to invite a child or an adult out and not as a starting point not allowing access to all children as if assuming wrongly that all children are not educated or well behaved.

The staff are all amazing, so friendly and helpful. A special acknowledgment to the doormen - especially the black gentleman who was one of the most courteous and polite people we’ve ever met. The door men really went out of their way to help with bags and also suggested places to visit etc. The pool is great size and we managed to get a lounger both times we visited - once in morning and once in tbt afternoon Breakfast is great and there are plenty of choices Bedrooms large, spacious and super clean, as is the bathroom Can easily get to all places of interest from the hotel - it’s around 15-20 minute walk to the centre but there are lots of shops/restaurants/bars within 5-10 minutes walk. Ubers are very cheap so if you don’t want to walk then it’s easy to grab an Uber or the doormen can order you a local taxi too! If we ever visit Lisbon again this would be our first choice hotel :)

The hotel has a very nice design. The rooms were large, comfortable and very clean. The rooftop pool and the spa areas were very well managed and clean. We didn't feel like these areas were overcrowded at any point. The breakfast was excellent. The staff in these areas (i.e., rooftop pool, spa, breakfast) were very friendly and nice to our family at all times. At our last day, we were offered a cava bottle to celebrate my mother's birthday which was very much appreciated.

After traveling long hours we were told by the front desk staff that our rooms were not ready for check-in. Two elderly people and one child were asked to wait for a long time at the lobby before being able to access their rooms. During this waiting time, nothing was offered to us, for example, access to the spa or the rooftop. We were offered 2 welcome drinks (we were 4 adults) with a value less than 10 EUR... There was no proactivity from front desk staff to offer a tour around the hotel facilities (e.g., rooftop pool, spa) or to explain the different services and offerings. We had to figure these out ourselves and missed offerings such as the afternoon tea. Considering the amount paid for our stay, one would expect a service more appropriate to the hotel's level.

Excellent hotel making our 5-night stay super relaxed and really pleasant. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast (e.g. watermelon tastes like real watermelon) and everything and everywhere is spotless clean. If you roam on the basement area of the hotel the gym and spa facilities will definitely keep you energized and relaxed, they are well equipped and very inviting. If you prefer to explore the top of the building you will find the roof pool which fully fulfils on any splashing and tanning cravings you might have. Would definitely stay on this hotel again.

Not many buts to give to be honest. For me the mattress felt slightly warm but did not keep me from having a very nice sleep all days. We are also not very friendly towards having air con on all the time. When we were trying to turn it off in the control panel it did not seem to go off, felt like the air stream was still working, but not totally sure. Maybe this should be made more clear.

The staff are very friendly, useful, and highly trained. We don’t say this lightly: we have stayed in several 5-star hotels with poor service, to put it nicely. At Sana, staff make your needs their first priority. Hands down to the staff at reception, breakfast, and at the pool. Breakfast is very varied, tasty, and with a great selection of vegan options. Beds were very comfortable, and the room quiet. The best is the rooftop swimming pool (heated water!). Sadly we couldn’t go to the spa because we have a toddler that demanded our attention at all times.

A minor point: we always have to log back in into to the WiFi in the rooms.
