The house and location is beautiful. Incredible views over the mountains and to the sea. The gardens of the property are wonderful. It felt like a little bit of paradise. The room was really nice and comfortable, the bathroom clean. We organised a surf lesson with the owner which was easy and very fun. Breakfast was good, help yourself with lots of options. We had a great stay here.

The room could have benefited from more surfaces to place belongings on. For example, a shelf in the bathroom and a bench in the bedroom, and hooks to hang towels on to dry. There was a minor issue with ants. Walls are a little thin in the main house so you can hear the next room but wasn't a huge issue for us.

Very nice garden. Lots of flowers and amazing view of the mountains . Room was small but had exterior with chairs and table . Was a good place for 2 nights. Most of the people were staying for a long time there and doing surf lessons. Breakfast was ok, taken together with the other guests at the main house big table. Feeling of being in a hostel.

No instructions for breakfast. It was just mentioned to go at the main house for it, but nothing else on how to handle things . We asked other people how things work.

The accommodation was a hidden unique place with a beautiful garden and view of mountains, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. This space was truly remarkable and good for nature lovers and slow travelers. The location is perfect, offering easy access to Sao Vicente downtown while maintaining a peaceful and quiet environment.

Nothing like this, all location, accommodation, and breakfast were more than I expected. Truly recommended for those who love nature and peace.

I loved the breakfasts - super varied. Lots of pastries, fruit, cereal, eggs, bread and cheese. The staff were lovely and accommodating The location was great, only a 10/15 min walk to the seafront and restaurants (and supermarket) The room was clean and comfortable! A great shower! I enjoyed the terrace where I could read in peace and look at the mountains A cute cat visited the garden every evening

We really liked that the accommodation was located in the valley, you wake up with beautiful views everyday. The room was basic but clean and big enough for a few days. The bathroom was clean, maybe a few more towels would've been nice for a longer stay (We stayed for 4 nights). Breakfast was really good, nice to meet some other travelers and chat. Next to the accommodation there is enough parking space.

No complaints whatsoever the accommodation. However we liked the Southside of Madeira a bit more because there is less rain :-)

For me the best place to visit Madeira. Central to reach all the parts of the Island. And the place is so beautiful. Wonderful garden, the house is very nice and my room was so beautiful and confortable, recently renovated and all was so clean ! Very good breakfast every morning. And surf lessons were so great. I really enjoy to stay here and if I come back to Madeira for sure I'll come back here again ! The best self service breakfast I have ever had. Really enjoyed making fresh orange juice and pancakes myself, the choice of products was abundant. I had a trail running race the next day and had to be up early so the host was so kind, he asked the staff to prepare breakfast buffet earlier so I could get some food!

the room was clean, the bed very comfortable, quiet (if the neighbours are quiet, we could hear them talk at night ). it has a kitchen you’re surrounded by a paradise garden, a beautiful view of the mountain, a funny neighbouring parrot a simple but good breakfast: cereal, milk, vegetal milk, yogurt, coffee, tea, fruits, croissants, salami and cheese

I don’t know if we were supposed to know, but we were confused about the location, as on the gate the property has a different name and weren’t sure where to go, which room to go to… there was no one there. But we called them and the owner was nice and explained everything

Spacious room, modern bathroom, lovely place with character and stunning views. From my comfortable balcony, I could see the sea and mountains through the lush foliage. Chatting with the friendly owners and other guests in the communal areas

The garden was being landscaped, which meant some noise and we couldn’t enjoy some of it
