Location of hotel was great with walking proximity to many popular sites and Sao Bento train station and Aliados metro. Hotel bathroom especially was very spacious with double sink and I like that the windows open to let in fresh air. Breakfast was included with a fair spread for it being free. The staff were very friendly and on the day we checked in, there was love music and free glass of port wine at the cozy rooftop bar.

There is a bar down the street that is a bit rowdy and quite busy every single night until about 1-2am. However, since bedroom is double pane glass, if you close the bathroom door, the noise can’t really be heard.

This property is located in the PERFECT spot— it is on a relatively quiet street that is only a few minutes’ walk away from any place you’d want to go. For the tours we booked, we never had to walk more than 10 minutes to meet our guides. Staff was really nice and helpful. I only wish breakfast were included in the price. One other really nice thing about this hotel is between 2 PM and 6 PM every day they offer a little “coffee break” in the basement. They had tea, coffee, and little pastries.

Everything was great, I only wish they had had hair conditioner! And also the windows in our room didn’t open. But those are such small things comparatively. Amazing hotel.

After coming from more meager accomodations in an older hotel during our stay in Lisbon, we fell in love with Hotel Moon and Sun immediately. The staff was warm and inviting and provided very good tips and recommendations for the area. We arrived shortly after Noon and were ecstatic to find our room was already ready. We were also advised that there would be a complimentary welcome drink at the lobby bar and we were giving infromation about on site breakfast and other amenities. The room itself was wonderfully appointed and the bathroom was HUGE, with a large double occupancy shoer with two shower heads. They also provided robes and slippes (which we didnt end up using but it was a nice touch).

The only gripe i have is that the card key is needed to activate the electricty in the unit. The reason this is a gripe is that one of our nightsin town, we left our phones charging while stepping out to get a bite to eat. We took the card key with us (obviously) only to fid that when we returned, neither of our phones ahd charged becasue.. you guessed it.. we took the key with us, basically cutting off the power while we were gone. Additioanlly, our room faced the same direction as the looby doors and, at night, you could hear the rowdyness of Aduela, the bar on the corner which is quite lively and fun (but not when you're trying to sleep. Luckily, we found that closing the bathroom door would drown most of the noise out.

This is a very nice hotel. It feels modern, updated, and clean. The location was wonderful for exploring the city ... close to lots of the tourist sites without being in the middle of the tourists. The front desk staff is very friendly and speak fluent English. The provided a welcome drink (Port or sparkling wine) at the bar, snacks every afternoon (woohoo, downside was they are the same pastries as served at breakfast), and farewell cookies. We had a corner room, which has essentially two walls of windows ... lots of light, but not great views (right into the neighboring buildings, which aren't the prettiest ones in town). The room was good size, hardwood floors, and had a comfortable bed. Breakfast was pretty good, but not awesome as we are vegans. It was the fairly standard spread of coffee, juice, hot chocolate, lots of pastries, eggs, bacon, sometimes baked beans other times mushrooms/tomatoes, cold meats and cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, fruit, breads, and muesli. We had strong wifi connections the entire time.

I don't have any real complaints. More vegan breakfast options would be nice (e.g., hot potatoes, more of the sauteed mushrooms, plant-based yogurts, plant-based milk for the muesli/cereal, etc) ... bread, fruit preserves, cucumbers and tomatoes gets a little tiresome after multiple days in a row. It wasn't clear if any of the pastries were vegan, but it seems unlikely (all seemed like they would include butter). The afternoon snacks are a nice touch, but making it different from the morning pastries would be great.

We could have found a similar option for slightly less ones, but we were happy with the hotel and room. It was Nice sized and comfortable. The Bed and linens were nice quality and comfortable. We Liked the rooftop bar or bar near reception area as options to relax after a busy day. Sadly, We missed the music on the rooftop but that’s a nice option. We had one free welcome drink which was very nice as well. My only complaint if any would be that there was no iron in the room. Also we knew our price for 3 nights didn’t include breakfast, but we needed to have breakfast there on one day. It was 15 euros each…too expensive! especially after staying for 3 nights.

No iron, breakfast too expensive

What an amazing hotel! From day one, when we were greeted by Diana, we knew we were going to be fine. Everything was spotless clean. The room size was great. Love my bed and the bathroom. The space was perfect. We were able to walk to many locations (walking distance to lots of attractions including the subway and train station). The breakfast was delicious. Plenty of food, nice variety and the young man assisting was very polite and courteous. Everyone at this hotel were so nice. Great professionals, Moon and Sun Hotel: your staff is your strength. Keep them happy because I want to see them again during my next visit. :)

Absolutely loved the location of the property, just a 10minute walk to Sao Bento and along the way you get to see shops, cafes everything. We had the Deluxe suite and it was spacious we could open three large suitcases and still had plenty of room to walk around. Room was clean, and had everything we needed. The staff were the most friendly and helpful as well. The free breakfast was amazing with the freshly baked pastries and such a good start to our day!

Nothing really, except there was construction on the outside the time we were there and our driver couldn’t stop us at the door step, we had to walk about 50m with our suitcases.

Location of the hotel was very good. Hotel was very clean with excellent facilities and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely recomend.

There was nothing that I could really fault about the hotel. The only very small thing would be the option of different types of pillows. The pillows were too soft for me so a firmer option would have good. This is the only suggestion that I can think of. Overall the hotel was excellent. I would highly recomend.

The location in the central of the old town is great. The roof-terrace is also very nice.

I specifically searched for a hotel with parking, this one came up. I asked about the parking and said it is important, they said the cost is 20€ per day. Turned there is no parking, it is not even possible to drive to the hotel, the street was closed. We ended up paying 57€ for parking in a nearby public parking for ~30 hours. The room had no ventilation, so we needed to open the window to get fresh air but the street outside was noicy so we did not sleep very well.

First of all the staff was fabulous! Our greeting was so warm and welcoming, and I wish I could remember the name of the night manager at the desk, (Christian? he was also training 2 new staff) but he was so helpful and accommodating! The rooms were very, very nice and although it was in a rather lively area, which we loved, it was also very quiet in the room and hotel overall. Great location for walking around the city, which we did a lot of. We sure wish we could have stayed longer! We think Porto was our favorite city in Lisbon and we would love to stay with Hotel Sun and Moon again.
