This is a wonderful guest house with a charming feel to it. My friend and I booked the family suite which was a large spacious room with separate areas for privacy and two bathrooms which was a plus. It has a beautiful, simplistic decor with a French chic feel. The beds were comfortable and the facilities were good. The breakfast was delicious with a sufficient spread to start the day. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. It was a 5-10 minute walk to all the main sites which was great, it is on a fairly steep hill, although this is to be expected in Porto! I would very much recommend staying here.
Our shower attachment was broken meaning we had to hold the shower as we couldn’t attach it to the wall. Which was fine but an inconvenience. The owner was very apologetic about this.

Maria and her colleague were very welcoming and helpful. They even made breakfast up for us as we had an early flight. The breakfast room was lovely and breakfast was very nice. The guest house is beautifully restored. It's a little way from the river, maybe a 10/15 walk but that didn't bother us. Plenty of bars and restaurants near the guest house. Definitely try one of their porto tonic, they're excellent
I would ask for a room at the back as the road made it very noisy and the air con wasn't very strong. It was ok in june as it wasn't very hot but maybe a problem if its hot. The room was huge and would definitely benefit from a chest of drawers as it's bog enough to fit one in. There wasn't enough room in the wardrobe. The shower was very temperamental, falling off the wall if the pressure was too low. The shower door didn't fit properly and if the force was too high it forced it open and flooded the shower room.

Spacious rooms, with huge tall ceilings. Bigger than it looks in the photos. Very friendly staff (spoke exceptional English) and helped us plan our stay. Breakfast was another big plus, far better than a typical budget hotel. Great range from granola to pastries, meats and cheese. The street is great, a direct line down into central porto with great value cafes and bars. Porto is amazing, of course. I would go back to this hotel on my next visit for sure.

Beautiful property in a fantastic location. A decent continental breakfast was included in the booking. Maria was super friendly, helpful, and lovely to chat to. Good shower and comfortable bed.
Our room faced the road and despite the double glazing and window shutters I found it very noisy. The road outside is cobbled and the cars passing over it made a lot of noise. I had to use ear plugs on the second night. My companion would have liked to have slept with a window open during the night, but I wouldn't have got any sleep if we had! There was a bathtub in our room, but the water taps for it didn't work? A chest of drawers or some drawers in the wardrobe would have been useful.

This was a lovely place to stay while visiting Porto for a few days. The guesthouse is located in Baixa and it is within a few minutes' walking distance to a number of different restaurants and bars. Sophia and Maria, our hosts, were so welcoming and helpful. The house is beautiful and our room was tidy and comfortable. Breakfast was included in our stay, and it was prepared with such care each morning.
Some kind of animal(s) were making a fair amount of noise some mornings but I certainly don't hold that against the owners.

The location was perfect. Very easy to walk to anywhere in the old city. Breakfast was a very good buffet. The room was lovely with a large, very comfy bed and en-suite shower. The staff were so nice and friendly, spoke excellent English and were very helpful with info about where to go. Very easy walk to the metro station to get to the airport.
Everything was very satisfactory

Location is great....only a few minutes walk from Trinidade Metro. The hosts (Maria and Sofia) were very friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and spacious.
Room was a little noisy as we were facing the street. I would ask for a room at the back next time.

The room was beautiful, and there's a nice garden to sit in. The house has been lovingly restored, and retains the old features. The staff are lovely, and though not on the premises, reply to a message promptly.
Simple things were missing for me, which always seem available in other accommodation. I needed to work, and if the garden access was locked, I had to work on my bed - no chair for the desk. I had hoped to have access to a kettle to make a hot drink....... No drinking water in my room. No eggs for breakfast. Otherwise, a very pleasant stay

It was within walking distance of the highlights. It was comfortable for a family with 2 kids. The breakfast was lovely. The room was spacious and clean.
There isn’t always someone available. We only had 2 glasses in our 4 persons room. As there was no one we could not ask for more. When people come home at night very bright hall light are automatically switched on. This is disturbing as the lights are lightening your room through the glass above the doors. I would advise more dimmed lights.

Very beautiful house with elegant interior, spacious room, good wi-fi. Breakfast was good, staff is so welcoming and kind hearted. We lived in the upper floor, under the roof, nice room. Guesthouse provided glasses for portwine, which was very useful :) Room cleaning every day.
A little bit cold at first, but air heater helped. The room hasn’t got a central ceiling light, so in the second half of the day it was a little dark in here. It’s ok if you’re resting here, there are several lamps, so it’s very cozy. But besides rest we tried to work, so I wish the room had more light.
