Location: In a residential area, quiet and calm, off the center, easy access by car. The center of Sines in reasonable distance (about 20 min on foot), and you don’t need to climb to reach the center. We recommend a restaurant Cais da Estação (literally: a platform of the train station) located at the place of past train station. Excellent food, one of the best we eat in Portugal, and very good service. Not the cheapest one (we had a dinner twice and paid 80-90€ for 2 persons), but definitely worth its price. Hotel: lately taken over by a new owner and improved (especially breakfast), but still require more improvement. Room: comfortable, we had a room at the ground level with a small terrace with a small table and chairs. The weather did not encouraged sitting there, nevertheless the terrace was nice. electric sockets: available lighting: OK Bed: comfortable Bathroom: average in space, OK Breakfast: very good, but not the same level all days. WiFi: OK Parking: Free small private (but open) parking front of the hotel and street parking front of the hotel, no problem with place.

Location: If you plan to visit the Nature Park of Lagoas de Santo Andre (nice hikes and beaches) never leave anything in your car. Cars are regularly robbed – you may lost your property and have problems with a broken glass (as we experienced). If it happens go to Glassdrive in Vila de Santo Antonio. If they haven’t a glass for your car, nobody in Portugal have.

Just changed owners so making an effort to please. Good sized rooms, and Aircon worked well. Heated rail in bathroom for towels! A bonus. Location was walkable to many restaurants but unfortunately many were closed either Sundays or Mondays. Both swimming pools were heated and ample children's play area. Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and freshly squeezed orange juice. Due to refurbishment, no dinner available yet in the hotel.

WiFi reception was weak so used my hotspot instead. Beds were a little hard. Bath towels were small and thin and hair dryer was old fashioned on the wall. Took a long time to get hot. Bring your own travel hair dryer. Limited parking for 7 cars only otherwise Street parking.

Had a lovely 2 night stay at this place on route down to the Algarve, nice friendly staff, decent atmosphere around the hotel, let me park my motorcycle right in front of reception which was good, plenty of choice for breakfast as well.

I’m probably being a bit picky here and nothing to do with the hotel but I wasn’t that fussed on Sines itself, maybe it’s a bit late in the holiday season but the place felt flat imo.

Beautiful bedroom with high ceilings and a large balcony overlooking the pool Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff, all spoke perfect English High quality bed linen High quality products in bathroom Amazing breakfast with loads of choice, hot and cold. Provided gluten free bread for me. Dined in the restaurant, good menu, good food, good wine list Pool was heated, which was great as the weather could be chilly, even in August Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Cakes on arrival, bottle of water every day in the room

The location was a little out of the way, but Sines is a bit of a strange place. Very industrial, not quite what we were expecting. To get to a beach you needed to drive. Also quite a long walk to any bars/restaurants. However this did not detract from the great facilities and service the Dom Vasco provides.

Spotlessly clean, attention to detail with nothing too much trouble by the excellent staff. The heated pool and area very clean and pleasant. Breakfast was incredible with the largest array of different breads, cheeses, fruits, juices, meats, cereals, cakes.. All fresh and tasty. The room was good, with a large balcony.

Sines is not a typical holiday resort. Although the beach is lovely, the oil terminal at one end and the docks at the other rather spoils it. A member of the restaurant staff was sick on one night and as a result the service and the food were poor, my chicken was not cooked through. The other nights it was really good with great service and food.

The bed is uncomfortable and moves so much when your partner turns over. Rooms are fairly small and location is not central to many walkable things. We came on bikes and although they told us it was fine to store them, it seemed to be such an inconvenience for them to help us.

Nice hotel with helpful staff. OK breakfast. Extra large double bed which was great.

Air conditioning in bedroom was not working making it uncomfortable at night. Managed to get a fan from reception which helped. Bath provided but water pressure to low to fill up the bath - shower head also flimsy and flooded the floor

The hotel was exceptional and excellent value. The staff were extremely friendly and helped us find a nearby restaurant as the hotel's restaurant was closed. Breakfast was provided though and that was excellent. There was sufficient parking for a couple of motorcycles. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Would happily have stayed longer.

All ok

I stayed overnight while transiting back to Santander. Very warm welcome, I turned up crazy early, no problem, spent the afternoon in the very clean pool, walked down to the little Brazilian restaurant and enjoyed great food, great company and great music. Breakfast was all I wanted and checkout was slick. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. highly recommended.
