Amazing location, pool, restaurant, and views from our 2nd floor ocean view room. This was my wife's and my favorite hotel during our 2 week honeymoon, so we booked an extra night. The restaurant was the best food we ate all during our trip in Portugal. The pool area was enormous and beautiful. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It's not cheap, but it's well worth it.

Be sure to book a 2nd floor room, as they have a far nicer view than the 1st floor. The gym could have used more equipment, but this is typical throughout Portugal.

Room was nice, clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast with plenty of options, including non-gluten food. Located a few steps from a big beach as well as stunning cliffs. Overall a lovely hotel with everything needed, including parking.

The privacy screen on balcony has a big gap and therefore lacks its purpose as you can see neighbours directly. Also the spa facilities depend on what are your spa standards, I am aware that the Portuguese are not so fond of saunas, but we are used to a bit more dedicated place of calm and relax, here is just two sauna boxes by the pool, so don’t expect much in that regard. Also the interior pool is really shallow, so it’s difficult to swim. Exterior seems fine, it was too cold to test it though.

We loved our stay. We were passing through on our way to Sagres and ended up staying another night due to hotel’s quality. The hotel is excellent for many reasons, particularly its location-it's right in front of the beach with an incredible view. From the hotel, you can enjoy Porto Covo and its surroundings without needing to use a car. The place is a paradise, with amazing waves. The hotel has a fantastic spa, sauna, and outdoor pool. The staff was impeccable with us, and the breakfast is excellent. Thank you, Marta, for welcoming us so warmly.

This hotel has everything you could ask for and the location itself is great with an ocean view and still near the main street and the "bus station".

We were not informed beforehand that the nearest neighbour is a building site. This ruined the whole view from our balcony and the whole feeling too. The hotel cannot stop people from building new houses next door but they can indeed inform their guest about it beforehand. So that they can book something else. The ground outside the balcony was full of cigarette butts.

Breakfast was good and varied. Staff at the reception desk was very helpful.

Charges for washing the clothes were absurd. They were never on time, on the delivery of the dirty clothes. They delivered our clothes late, still wet(two trousers and ands two t-shirts). They gave back your clothes in the same dirty bags that they received the dirty clothes in, and on the second occassion the bag had the number of another room's dirty clothing, Unacceptable/ poor cleanliness/unacceptable.

I wish I could stay longer! I am on my last day of my 6-day stay in this amazing hotel and feeling sad already. Opened about a year ago, this hotel is situated in a prime location, where the sun meets the sea. You can leave your car behind and go for relaxing walks. Nearest beach (Praia Grande) is literally in front of the hotel, about 3 minutes walk. The center of the village of Porto Covo is about 5 minutes walking, while enjoying the sun and the sea right by your side. You can find all amenites there, including amazing restaurants with produce from the region. About the hotel now… This hotel is family run and it makes a huge difference. It is not huge, it has about 40 rooms which is a good number for a good service. There are rooms facing the sea, others facing the pool, all these are cleaned daily and are very big! The hotel also boots of a heated interior pool, an external one, gym and spa. The food is very good, very complete and tasty breakfast, very good selection of bar snacks and sublime food served on the hotel’s restaurant. The prices are adequate for all the tranquility you get by staying in this gem of an hotel. I am looking forward to return soon.

The location, the pool, the size of the pool view suite, breakfast, and staff in general (other than in reception). There are not a lot of options around for less than 7 nights in Porto Covo. Value for money is not great, but it is what it is....

There was a bad smell in the toilet at times - a sweage issue. The sofa bed is not very comfortable - okay for small kids. There was nowhere to hang beach clothes to dry in the terrace. Staff at reception was unpolite to us (situation was nicely taken care of by the manager).

The room was very cute, beach vibes, and it was perfectly clean, no complains. The ocean view from the room is amazing. Also good restaurant (if to pre-book dish you want) and very nice waiters in the restaurant.

When we were checking in we've got the room on the 1st floor which was not great because hotel stays literally on the road and it was impossible to switch because all rooms on upper floors were occupied... Note: if you want to have nice dinner in the hotel restaurant, make sure you will pre-book the specific dish you want as we didn't know that and no one notified us so we couldn't order nice fresh fish / seafoods we wanted.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly! The rooms were clean and comfortable! Really versatile and delicious breakfast! Location awesome, close to the beach and the center of Porto Covo.

Nothing really to mention here. If something, they could get the pool area even more cozy and welcoming with a bit more thought to the interior design and furniture especially in front of the pool bar and restaurant.

The location, service, staff were just amazing. We felt really comfortable from the beginning. It is directly above the beach and the sea. Just 5 min walk down to the beach. Dinner in the restaurant was really good, great wine recommendations.

The only thing what comes to my mind from my personal point of view is the spa area. This could be a bit extended and it is a bit too dark which has has an impact on the atmosphere - there is no day light there. Here a bit more cozying up might help. However, we had a good massage.
