Very charming accomodation. The room was lovely decorated. Comfortable bed. Location is uphill out of the centre, but we visited all sights on foot. (Although the busstop is also very close) In the immediate vicinity are a few very good restaurants. (In my opinion much better than the overly touristy, and pricey, restaurants in the historic centre)

Our room was not made up after the first day which was disappointing. The next day we specifically put up the 'please clean room' sign and our room was indeed cleaned. I'm not sure if this is the policy, if so, it was not explained to us.

We had a perfect stay (we highly recomend) - we loved the area, the peacefullness, the breakfast and the staff is just exceptional. The first impression via e-mail with Jessica was very warm and sincere and we were so happy that she greeted us upon arrival. Gave us great tips about restaurants, moving around, booked a taxi for us...it is so nice to meet such people. Sara in the mornig next day was also great, very opened, talkative and goodspirited at the breakfast (which was a real joy and treat). Also the two ladies on our last day were so nice too. The heated outdoor pool is just big enough to chill after sightseeing. It is located just a few steps (1 min walk) to local bus stop (to Pena palace, Moorish castle, National palace, center of the city) which is next to small grocery shop (with very nice owners) to buy water and fresh fruits for the day. Free parking in front of the hotel is very easy with enough free places (we stayed during the working days), very convinient and secure. They have honesty bar and you can serve yourself free coffee and tea all day long. It is a charming peacefull boutique place with only 8 rooms and there is also someone from the staff staying 24/7 at the premises.

Rosegarden house was a beautiful little hotel just outside Sintra town centre - about 20 minutes to walk into town - more on the way back up the hill! Our room was very spacious, comfortable bed, all modern facilities and a lovely view over the town. Breakfast was wholesome, fresh and plentiful. The staff were courteous and professional. Lovely cosy sitting room to sit quietly in the evening. Excellent choice if you want to be away from the hustle bustle of Sintra town centre. The hotel decor was classy! Highly recommend.

Everything was perfect for us

The interior design is beautiful and feels like stepping back in time to enjoy your own romantic and indulgent space. The guest house is a 15 minute walk from the main square so you get the best of both worlds as you will stay in a part of town you might not otherwise explore, surrounded by amazing architecture, peaceful stunning views and some of the best food in town - Tira Tapas is the perfect local spot for great food, wine and hospitality. The hosts are helpful and relaxed, there is an honesty bar, a library and several spots to sit and just enjoy the ambience.

The hotel is really charming with nice breakfasts and really friendly staff. Special thanks to staff, who gave us suggestions on how to access Pena Palace in Sintra - it is only 20 minutes uphill walk from the hotel, which helps you to avoid expenses on transport.

The rooms are really stylish, but a bit small. Also, the hotel is located in the older house, so they are not very well isolated and you walk out directly to the corridor with stairs. The bathrooms are quite small, but nevertheless they have everything needed.

Lovely small hotel in Sintra with a splash pool and charming breakfast. Parking was easy enough (especially for Sintra!) and we were close to the sites. We didnt use the pool, but the grounds were pleasant and quiet. Very nice breakfast and helpful staff.

This was a third time in Sintra and this was a nice balance for a less touristy/group travel focused spot. The rooms were well appointed with a separate toilet and shower so nice for couples/friends.

Very private, intimate, cozy and beautifully decorated. The staff were brilliant and full of great recommendations

My only comments would be that we didn’t get to chose what we wanted for dinner. This was because the rose garden had to have our evening meals delivered. My husband and I aren’t fussy and the food was lovely, however, it was lacking a little variety. The pool area doesn’t get much sun so we weren’t able to swim and sunbathe like we wanted.

Everything. The decor was amazing, so vibrant and warm. We felt so much at home immediately. The breakfast and breakfast staff were incredible. Nothing was too much trouble. The swimming pool was small but quaint. They have a library too with board games as well as books. A real cosy space to chill out.

There wasn’t anything we disliked. Maybe a towel rail for your damp towels would have been helpful, other than that, it was perfect.

The Inn is spectacular! Very cozy and decorative. The location is perfect! We enjoyed taking a beautiful hike from the inn to Pena Palace and the Mourish Castle through the forest. Highly recommend!

There were very nice spa quality soap/lotion dispensers. However, ours were empty. The dinner option was new, we were told. The meal was fine but not anything special. It was prepared and served by the receptionist. The food seemed like it was packaged and reheated. For us, we only traveled from Cascais and were looking for relaxation. However, if we had traveled from afar and had in mind authentic Portugeuae food, this could have been disappointing.

I was still recuperating from a upper respiratory illness when I got there. The staff was concerned for my well being and made sure I was well taken care of. The breakfast was wonderful. Overall, I felt welcomed and almost "at home."

This is a very old and extremely well cared for establishment. The only problem was sound. Any time someone went up or down stairs or opened and closed a door, the sound could be heard throughout the house.
