- Location. Walking distance from many places to eat, train station, and attractions. - Good sized room with a balcony. - Great breakfast. Huge selection with many hot food items (ham, scrambled eggs, etc) - Clean rooms and comfortable beds (mattress is very firm). - front desk staff are exceptionally helpful (particularly Teresa, be sure to get her recommendations if she’s working).

Freshly renovated, very stylish rooms, amazing staff, very nicely located (8 minutes by foot from the city center and a very beautiful route where I took lots of pictures). Breakfast was nice and served at a lovely cafeteria with a beautiful view. We will stay again when come back to Sintra. For those who travel by public transport - the hotel is very close to the station. For those by car - there is a nice parking lot near the station as well. We loved it at Bliss Hotel!

Room was quite small for 2 suitcases and 2 people

We stayed here for two nights! Breakfast was great, it was western type and coffee was exceptional. Location was really convenient, it is near Sintra station and there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel to Cabo da Roca(403). Staffs were very helpful and supportive! Room was clean, quite and bed was really comfortable! It even has a little balcony. 24/7 front desk was really helpful as we arrived late night.

Bathroom has a sliding door with a hole and had no privacy to use the toilet... and smelled a bit. All good except that!

The location of the hotel was excellent, a short walk into the historic center of Sintra. The staff spoke English, easy to communicate with, and polite and helpful. The room was very clean, excellent rain head shower, plenty of hot water. Nice terrace overlooking rear courtyard.

Not a big issue, but the heated towel rack didn't work and the overhead bedroom light didn't work either, but still plenty of light in the room for our needs. The breakfast was good, but replenishment of certain popular items was slow or non-existent. Get there early if you want a good choice of offerings. Lots of different pastries, croissants, cakes and cookies, but the eggs were a bit runny for our taste. The internet connection was strong while it lasted, but the entire internet went down for the last 2 days of our 5 night stay.

The location was really good to get around Sintra. The bed was really comfortable. And breakfast was also good. But akward though that you were not allowed to use the coffee machine. ...you had to ask someone of the staff to do that. Never had that before at a buffet breakfast .

Very noisy room ...it seems like you could here the whole hotel flush the toilet or take a shower......and right in front of my room poeple could also sit for breakfast......or a smoke ....quite annoying that that woke me up instead of my alarm. And also meant no use of natural light because everyone could then look inside of my room.

Sintra Bliss Hotel is a cute small modern hotel. Situated at a very nice spot at the beginning of Sintra. Walking distance from the train station and even from the old city of Sintra given that one loves to walk wearing good walking shoes. Many options for food all around and a beautiful coffee shop, Saudade, in the centre of the small town. Gustave was very helpful throughout my stay. Thank you !

I needed more days to stay and enjoy the beauties I didn't have the chance to see. Each Palace needs a day if one really wants to take in the scenery and the beauty of the landscape and the gardens and nature. So if you are to visit the top 3 palaces, Pena, Regaliera and Monserrat (my favourite) you need 3 days and one day to go to the beach and one day to go to the castle. I believe a 5 night stay is about enough to say you saw the best of Sintra, Portugal.

Very clean, new, two minutes walk from Sintra station. Two minutes from the 434 bus, and 15 minutes to other tourist sites. Street view, opening windows, fairly quiet, decent sized room, and elevator. Very pleasant and helpful check in staff.

Internet quite slow in our room. Hair (shower) conditioner and an extra garbage container in the room would be nice. Breakfast was good (if you got there early). But some items, like the fresh fruit, yoghurt, and even milk were not replenished. Should not happen.

Staff were courteous, efficient and well informed. We lost a hat on a taxi ride and they went out of their way to try and track it down and return it to us. This was above the usual level one might expect. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was fresh with a great variety of options for all tastes. The location was great - close to the train, buses, taxis and restaurants. It was an easy walk into the historic centre and tourist area downtown. We had an excellent experience and would recommend this hotel to others looking for good basic accommodations close to everything in Sintra.

Everything was a s expected and advertised. No complaints from us.

The breakfast was terrific and robust. The room was on the backside and was quiet (except for occasional barking dogs down the street which hotel has no control), The location was convenient to the train station and an easy walk into the center of town. Towels were replenished daily. There is an elevator. The staff was very helpful with whatever we requested, including help with palace tickets online. I would come here again to stay just for the delicious breakfast. The pastries in Sintra and in this hotel are excellent.

We did have one bug come into our room but it was dispatched quickly and there was no further incident. Not sure if it came on our luggage from airport or if it was already there. And there was no place to put anything away in the bathroom. But this is Europe....

We were upgraded to Sintra Boutique Hotel as Sintra Bliss Hotel was closed. I overlooked the message and only knew about the change when we arrived. Boutique Hotel is located in the town which is about 15 minutes walk away from the train station. Location was good for hiking. Hotel was well decorated and room was very comfortable. Breakfast was just all right with limited choice. Reception staff was friendly and informed us about different sites to visit.
