first time at Honorio so not sure what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised. the apartment was very clean, very spacious with a large outside area with table/chairs for 6 - has a brick built barbeque too and the TV had pretty much all channels from back home! the pool area was lovely and while i was there they put up new glass/perspex barrier round the perimeter to keep wind off it and brand new sun beds - there is a massive large screen TV at the pool with music channels during the day and often football in evenings - great quality picture for it being outside really nice quiet location but only just over 20 mins downhill walk to Vilamoura marina and 10 mins to beach at Quarteira overall, excellent value for money - would definitely stay again and recommend to others (and i'm pretty fussy about where i stay :) )

The property was very clean , simple and modern and very clean and the management, staff and housekeeping were very accommodating. The pool area was always kept clean and was never over crowded with tourists and lovely tasteful entertainment on various days and not far from the local supermarket or restaurants and only about a 25 minute walk to the Quarteira promenade and really beautiful beach and fab cafes for coffee and pastries and lovely shops and also a 7 minute drive in taxi to Vilamoura marina. We will definitely stay in Apartamentos Honorio again and great for families with small children as it is lovely and quiet!!!

The only thing we found slightly uncomfortable was the double bed and pillows a little lumpy and the washing machine was very loud when in the spin cycle sounded like the bearing was gone in it.

Everything was well maintained and worked. Super air con, super comfortable beds, super shower with constant supply of hot water, good kitchen facility, near a supermarket, everything really clean, super wifi and TV to watch the Olympics😀😀😀😀. The pool area was supervised and kept neat and tidy by the attendant, and the grounds were lovingly maintained by the gardener - amazed he was growing English roses in the heat!!! Arrival was friendly and we were able to access our apartment much earlier than expected which was an added bonus.

Just maybe the tiling in the kitchen area and bathrooms was a tad outdated but it was clean and well maintained so I’m being really picky in saying this. The rest of the apartment looked like it had been recently painted and had lovely pictures on the walls.

We were lucky with a period of not too many tourists and could profit by all amenities in a calm and serene atmosphere. The restaurant on site is highly recommended, just reopened when we were there and the quality of the dishes, attention to detail of staff and interest for client feedback from management are all to the highest standards. Pool and poolside lounge also a very nice addition, especially when coming back from our daily exploratory walks.

No negatives from this, everything was at the level or beyond our expectations.

the facilities of the hotel were great. very clean, friendly staff, well maintained, lovely atmosphere.

The room itself was great, but there were a few niggles with some of the fixtures and fittings. The kettle was leaking - this was replaced within 5 mins of us raising this with the reception team. Some of the shutter door latches were broken or not working, light fittings were poorly fitted - some didn't work at all. Some innovative DIY work around the apartment and if you wanted to be picky you could but it really didn't bother us. the location and the overall facilities and grounds were perfect.

Staff were really friendly and helpful - very responsive to any request made. The grounds are fabulous and it's a real little oasis in the village with a friendly, community-like atmosphere.

Apartments were quite basic for the price paid (furnishings and provision of soap, towels etc). We had two apartments and the kitchen supplies varied substantially across them (cups, glasses, pots, frying pans etc - one apartment had none of something, but the other apartment had plenty). An oven in the kitchen and mirrors in the bedrooms would be welcome. The sunbeds at the pool area get reserved immediately in the morning, and it was very challenging to find a spot to sit throughout the day. Large bed loungers for private hire took up a lot of space but were almost never used.

The apartment is clean, kitchen is nice, well equiped with dishwasher, they provide towels anytime is necesary, the staff is helpful and kind.

The apartment needs some changes, the wok(the only available utensil for making fried eggs for breakfast!) needs to be changed, the pilows and beds were not comfortable, the couch in the living room is awful, very uncomfortable to sit and watch TV, 2 of the chairs in the living room are rusty and when I asked Lucas about this he mentioned they are decorated in this way to look old. NO they are not, they are rusty. It looks more like a rustic accomodation. It is as mentioned by other guests, outdated and it is not cheap at all, 210Eur per night in September.

The staff were friendly and really helpful especially Lucas who was fantastic especially as we arrived very late in the evening. The whole place was clean and tidy and the pool was especially sparkling the guy who looks after it was meticulous in his work. The food was very good too and always served by staff who were friendly and helpful. Good value too especially compared with other local restaurants. The apartment itself had everything you could want and was comfortable. It even had really good WiFi and TV with all sky sports and English channels!

Mosquitos! Not much the staff or anyone can do about them but if I stay again I will bring adequate protection from the little blighters! I would have liked different pillows as the ones in the room were small (length) but deep which I found a little uncomfortable but it's a minor niggle

Lovely pool area. Very clean apartment. Staff very helpful and friendly. All in all, just what we expected. A good value stay with a great pool and a chance to unwind. The walk to Vilamoura is an easy 25 mins along a pleasant road to the lovely marina. Plenty of eateries and shops too. Quarteira beach was lovely too. The Uber cabs were pennies too. We would recommend but it's not a luxury break. Very pleasant though.

Rooms could use a little updating, and our bed was a bit uncomfortable. A slight smell in the bathroom, but nothing too bad and once the small window was open it cleared in 2 mins. The smell is very familiar to anyone who has ever stayed in a caravan or chalet.

Pool & surrounding area is excellent. Staff very helpful & friendly. Good prices in bar & restaurant. Location great if u have a car, not so much without. Whole place is clean and looks bright.

Our room was a little dated. Kitchen & bathroom appliances were great, but furniture & bedding needed an upgrade. It seems some apartments are owned by the resort, and have consistent furnishings & appliances etc, whilst some are privately owned and just managed / rented by the resort, which are furnished by their respective owners - some of whom have obviously taken more care than others....
