The apartment was perfect. It had everything that we needed. The terrace was great. The pool was lovely. Supermarket had everything we needed. Uber to the marina was E4 which was great. We were there for 8 days and towels were changed during our stay. We also used the washing machine. We brought two washing powder capsules with us as this had been a complaint of some of the other reviewers that I had read when I booked.

I would have liked for each to have a key as there was a gate to our area so if one of us went out, that person had to take the key which meant the person following had no key to get through the gate. The same if one of us wanted to come home early; this was not possible as we only had one key.

The resort is very well kept. We traveled as a group of families with young people aged 15-22 and on the whole it felt safe which allowed them some freedom to explore the area. We were able to walk from the Old Village to the marina in around 15-20mins but there were enough bars and places to eat within the resort if you didn’t want to wander too far. The food at casa do Largo was very good, if a little more expensive than some of the other restaurants including many at the marina. We were missing a couple of things in the apartment and requested throws for the sofa which were quickly supplied. The only slightly negative comment I’d make is that you’re asked to leave a €100 deposit and the apartments are quite thoroughly checked at departure but not on arrival. I’d advise carrying out your own inspection and making a note/taking photos of any damage when you check in as a lamp shade had been squashed (by whoever pushed the beds together to form a double) in our room which was highlighted at checkout. We really like the Old Village,, how peaceful it is, the choice of pool areas and bars and the fact it was set back from the main resort wasn’t an issue but if you have mobility issues it’s worth noting that it’s quite far out and the pavements are mostly formed from cobble stones. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and would also recommend trying Casa de Pescatore which can be found on square directly behind the big Irish bar at the marina.

The roof terrace. Difficult to access and no shade.

The location and the size of the apartment.

Our particular apartment didn’t have sun loungers to bring down to the Prestige Pool. In view of the fact that they didn’t provide fob for the other 3 pools this was a big disadvantage. The ground floor apartments all had sun loungers. Luckily we managed to source an available fob from the very helpful office staff but this is not always possible.

The 2nd property we were moved to was fantastic, clean and in a nice quiet location. The letting staff were absolutely fantastic and very helpful

The original property we were given was in desperate need of some maintenance/cosmetic work and was not fairly represented in the booking pictures. Loose plug sockets, wires showing, leaking air con unit, cracked kitchen cupboards, scuffed skirting boards and old dirty floor tiles. Also stating the property had air con (but not in any of the bedrooms) was misleading. You can't have your windows open as you are above Jakks bar courtyard and the noise would be loud

I liked staying in the Prestige section as it was quiet. The pool was never full, often empty - which was great when we wanted a quiet swim. Our apartment had a lovely big balcony, was comfortable, clean and well furnished

Taxi drive from airport to the Old Village ( booked via booking.com) didn't happen. The driver was waiting for us but then his boss made him go elsewhere and asked someone else to pick us up - but he had to go for petrol and was far away. A complete car nose, it was one 11 pm by this time and we had to get another taxi and pay again. Wouldn't book a taxi through booking.com again

The bed! It was so comfortable and very spacious! Lovely and clean, all amenities we needed.

Having no sun loungers at the prestige pool was a small pain. We were told you could take the sun loungers from the room down which we did but was difficult going down stairs with them and I struggle with my back, we were told we could not use the other pools which had sun loungers. Would be good to have this noted on the room information when booking there would be no sun loungers at prestige pool. The blinds in the kitchen could be changed as you couldn’t close them for privacy.

It was a lovely setting, perfect amount of everything and it was a lovely property. The amenities were great, the staff were friendly, apartment was clean. The pool was great could have done with loungers at the pool though.

It was bit ageing and could have benefited from some upgrades. The apartment had everything needed but could have also had new locks, showers and modern features. Access to all pools would be a better benefit. The service at the coffee shop was slow. Paying for check in after 5pm was a bit of a slap in the face with the cost of the stay.

The Old Village is such a great area; clean, family oriented, but great for singles or couples too. I stayed with my children for the first week, then moved location and stayed alone for a week. So it was perfect- quiet if you need that, or easy walk to a restaurant or bar and you can find a busier place cif you need it too. The pools are very well serviced and supevised. If you stay in Prestige you only get access to a quiter pool. Or stay in the Old village and you get access to the more family oriented pools.

nothing - it was all great

Loved the complex, very pretty and clean. We loved the choice of pools. bars and restaurants on site, which were very reasonably priced and staff were all very friendly. Great location, walking distance to everything. Would definitely return - just maybe to a different apartment.

The apartment was very dated and tired. The walls were very dirty and marked and we had a plug socket in bedroom dangerously hanging off the wall - which did not get fixed dispute being reported. No aircon in bedrooms either which we didn’t realise. Great apartment, but definitely in need of a revamp.

The location was ideal and the complex was a lovely mix of apartments, restaurants and bars. Taxis were easily booked and cheap. The complex was very welcoming and catered well for young families.

The apartment could have been cleaner on arrival. The apartment was also advertised as having access to three swimming pools but this wasn't the case when we arrived as we could only access one pool.
