The location is awesome. I loved that I could see the waves trash from the comfort of my bed. The balcony was very tiny, and I wish the gulf view was better from the balcony while seated. The staff was EXCELLENT. I encountered a few hiccups (not even problems, but general things) and every one of them was handled professionally, quickly, and so so kindly.

The room wasn't dirty by any means. It smelled good, and the bedding was fresh. Being that it is an older hotel, it couldn't hurt to have a nice deep clean. There were old carpet stains, handprints on the headboard, and other small random things. However, it was surgave cleaned very well. Enough so that I would absolutely stay there again.

Great staff and amazing rooms.

Roaches in the elevator and hallways. Never saw any in the room, but we did see them In most other places. Ice machine on our floor wasn't working, and almost all vending machines in the hotel will not vend most items "only certain drinks that are stocked". Breakfast was crowded and under stocked. Show up early if you want a waffle because there's a good line. Pool has broken windows and people coming in without a key card after 8 (through the broken windows) and holds maybe 15 people uncomfortably.

Great Ocean view from the balcony , our room was spacious and we really enjoyed the jacuzzi tub! The staff were amazing. coffee and tea were great and appreciated the 24 hr. Availability of it too! Loved watching the fishtank in the lobby. easy walk across the street to the beach ⛱️ great location to grocery store, and restraunts also. They have quite a variety of things for breakfast overall this is a great place to stay 😀

Comfort of mattress was OK

Krishna was very rude to me and my partner. Knocked on our door at midnight saying that we were allowed or the TV was up too loud. Me and my partner was in the bed. She knocked on the door threatening to call the police I was shocked. She needs to be trained on how to talk to paying guests. The walls at the hotel are so thin we heard other people also and we didn't complain other than that overall it's a nice hotel I enjoyed my stay

Great view of the Gulf from the balcony and we had a fantastic view of the sunrise. Just steps from the beach. Lots of breakfast options, loved the strawberry waffle mix as an added bonus for me. There is an indoor pool. Chain and non chain restaurants next door as well as a Kroger grocery store, a block away totally within walking distance. Close to multiple attractions. Easy check in and out. Staff was extremely pleasant! We really loved that our king room was much larger than your usual king room.

Tight parking but we drive a full size truck with big tires.

Customer service desk employees were good. When I walked into the 2nd floor and to the room, I noticed a slight mushy smell possbilty due to humid Galveston weather, but not bad at all. No bugs or roach smells. Beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast had fair choices. This property sits across from the beach, saw few windows and patios from the street, but I found out that they really have NO BEACHFACING ROOMS available; virtually all rooms are perpendicular to the beach. To enjoy the beach view you just need to walk to it. There are other hotels where you may sit on the balcony/patio to enjoy the gulf breeze and your coffee, but if you like to balance your budget - this property is a great choice.

The proximity to the beach and everything on the Seawall. Also the room was nice, big and comfy. Loved the little balcony and was able to see the ocean from the room. Very nice place to stay.

Well every time I went to shower the water didn't get very hot and didn't stay hot. Also the ice machine on the 4th floor seemed like it didn't work the whole time but that wasn't a big deal since the third floor one worked.

Your staff is incredibly accommodating! I book online through a booking website and call and reserve the hot tub room with no issues! The breakfast is fantastic! The rooms are clean and quiet and we like the indoor pool. The view and location are both fantastic and parking is convenient! We only stay at Quality Inn and Suites when we come to the beach! Always infused water, tangelos and popcorn and always coffee!

I can't think of anything you could improve on.

the carpets seemed like they need to be steam cleaned. not terribly bad but you can tell it was time. also a little mildew around the jacuzzi tub.

Heated pool was great. Breakfast had descent selection. Waffles, mini muffins, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, cereal. Unlimited coffee 24hrs. Was on the seawall so just walk to beach and pier. Fishing pier right across the street. Close to grocery and other stores, restaurants.

Our room was close to elevator that was noisy. Not horrible but annoying. The bathroom in our room was difficult to enter/exit as the door took up most of space. Very small bathroom in this room. Vending machine took money!
