This apart hotel is one of the most nicest. I had booked a studio but they had let me stay in a one bed room apartment as I wanted double beds. The apartment was very clean and very spacious and comfortable. We were there for Christmas so the rooms were very warm. They have a cooking hob, an oven and microwave, a mini refrigerator, coffee maker, electric kettle and a dishwasher in the units. There is a seating area with very comfortable couch and a dining area. There is a restaurant in the hotel which is nice and also they store snacks and drinks in the reception if someone needs them. The reception is 24 hours which is a blessing because I had checked in late and it was fine. The people in the reception or the hotel are super friendly and very helpful. They made my travel with my 6 year old super easy. There is a supermarket SPAR which is a five minute walk and is open from morning 6 to 12 in the night. The apartment is literally a 6 minute walk from the station Sloterdijk and this station has train, metro and tram connections to almost everywhere. This is super convenient and can connect you to the city or airport or any other places. We look forward to visiting again.

The accommodation is a great base for a stop in Amsterdam - the apartment had everything needed for two adults and a 10 year old, with plenty of room in the apartment itself, and some great facilities in the wider building (games room, parking). The location was also spot on for us, it's outside of the manic city centre, but close enough that you can get in to the city centre within 10 minutes on the train, of which the train station is a 5 minute walk from the accommodation. More than happy to recommend this as a place to stop!

There are only two things I think that could be improved, that is, providing a toaster in the rooms, and that the shower pressure could be made stronger (I accept this is very much personal preference though!)

Staff was excellent. The room was large and the proximity to train station made it easy to go in and out of the downtown area. It was nice to be able to be out of all the bustle a bit.

The restaurant was closed at 8:30 for food. Also beds were a bit uncomfortable. The apartment we got was on the west side on the 6th floor so it was quite hot with the setting sun. Also, the area walking up to the hotel did not reflect the inside. It looked a bit sketchy walking up, but very comfortable and inviting inside. Not much you can do about the other areas but having the smoking section right there as you walked in made it not have great appeal for a family.

We had an early flight and we just came to the hotel around 10am just to leave our bags but to our pleasant surprise the apartment was ready! It meant a lot to us since we were really tired and we didn't need to wonder around town waiting for 15:00 check in. The apartment itself was everything we needed and more. It was clean, it was spacious for studio apartment, it had everything we needed in the kitchen (like basic kitchen untensils, pots and pans, even sugar, salt, pepper, tea and creamer) and in the bathroom. The stove and the microwave were more than enough for us to cook us our meals and the dishwasher was very convenient. The beds were comfortable. On the first floor there was a little space where you could pick up more toilet paper and towels if needed, which was great! The staff was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Also, the location is great. It was close to everything we wanted to visit, city center is literally like 10 minutes train ride. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely come back here if we were to visit Amsterdam again!

The only thing I disliked is the hairdryer, it is not enough to dry my hair and I needed to let it cool off like every 5 minutes because it would overheat. It's like a minor detail, it didn't affect our stay!

General concept. Slick but welcoming reception staff. Nice communal space downstairs.. kids enjoyed table football/darts/pool table. Nice gym. Amazing location within 5 min walk of train station and only 5 min train ride to Central Station with trains every 5 mins (true) into town. Apartments are clean with comfy beds. Quiet. Cosy decor. Windows can open! (Basic kitchen but enough to get by. Supermarket minutes away. All in all a great option. Would definitely return.

Restaurant in the ID building limited menu (pizzas) and pricey. Opening times seemed limited. However there are options nearby. Nothing else not to like about the apartments. The surrounding area is clearly undergoing building boom so it’s not the prettiest of areas….. proximity to centre more than makes up.

The apartment was incredibly practical and well-suited to our needs. With two bedrooms, each having its own bathroom, it offered privacy and comfort for our group. The little kitchen was a fantastic addition, making it easy to prepare meals or snacks as needed. It was perfect for us and our two grandchildren. Additionally, the neighborhood was wonderfully quiet, providing a peaceful retreat after our daily activities. The staff was super friendly and always helpful, which we greatly appreciated. A great choice for families!

Really helpful staff, generous rooms with all the necessary things to make a meal and enjoy a relaxing stay. Launderette was clean, common spaces are arrtactive and used by many. Proximity to the rail station is a plus. An easy stay in Amsterdam.

A couple of suggestions that would make the rooms a little more comfortable would include a full length mirror (side of the wardrobe would be perfect), a place to hang a hand towel by the bathroom sink (even a command hook here would help) and lastly a wall or door mounted coat hook/rack near the front door. Everything else was thoughtfully appointed, clean, tidy, and very comfortable.

The staff were friendly, helpful and always courteous. Our bus left later in the day so we were able to store our luggage, explore for most of the day then have a coffee in the bar area before leaving. The facilities were wonderful, much needed after a long bus trip. The location is wonderful, near the bus and train station so getting to the heart of Amsterdam was easy, yet we could not hear the trains. There was a supermarket nearby and having kitchen facilities in the apartment meant we saved heaps on eating out. The convenience of having laundry facilities on the premises meant we could do our laundry at night, leaving the day spare to explore Amsterdam. Having a lounge area in the apartment was useful too.

The location was convenient for getting into central Amsterdam, on the train it took only a few minutes, on the tram about half an hour. The apartments were well appointed generally.

Some of the equipment needed a bit of maintenance- we had three apartments and in two of them the dishwashers were difficult to operate because of excessive wear. One coffee machine leaked when you filled it with water, one apartment had no opening windows which meant it got a bit hot and stuffy .

Super friendly staff. Our two bedroom apartment was on the third floor and there was an elevator straight from the garage. We had two bedrooms with a kitchen/ living room between them which is a perfect setup when you are traveling with kids and want some privacy on your vacation. There was a sauna, gym and restaurant and games/ pool table area downstairs. We used the sauna and it was good and readily available.

There is no room service during your stay but the fresh towels and supplies are available on the first floor or from reception. The location was not in the old town but it was one railway stop from Amsterdam Central Station from where you simply walk to see the old town. Amsterdam is designed to be a car unfriendly city so you do not want to book anything in the city centre if you travel by car. Finishes and room equipment was very basic but also very clean and the size and layout of the apartments beats anything when you travel with family. There wasn't really anything that we did not like. This comment is to give an idea of what to expect.
