There are so many activity options at Orchid: several pools, golf course and driving range, bowling, gym, plus a grocery and several restaurants. The aircon was good and chilly. Used the odd shaped pool which was pretty good, a bit of algae but seemed clean enough. Long enough for appreciable laps. The Olympic pool was fairly busy with lessons, so didn't attempt that one. The bowling alley is huge and was good value for three families bowling together. Had prata for breakfast at the golf course, it was enjoyable. The complex seems underutilized so it is surprising it has so many FB choices available.

The beds were a bit and the bedding is a bit sparse, but not a big problem. The duvet was fine. Some extra pillows would have been nice. There was a gap under the main door but didn't experience any interlopers. I am told this grand property will be taken down in 6 years, what a pity as it has something for everyone, it will be a shame to lose it. If it were just reduced in size, it seems it would be worth keeping. Enjoy it while you can!

I love that Restaurants and a Grocery is available in this place. Even a bowling place is there. Makes it very convenient. As well as the Free Shuttle to the nearest MRT. They will clean your room and change all linens and towels everyday. Everyone in the reception are helpful and welcoming. They are happy to help you with anything and if you need taxis, they will also assist on booking for you. It was a very pleasant stay!

Maybe one thing that they can add are ready water bottles in the room especially when guests came from a hot travel. But overall it's still fine as there is a nearby grocery.

We like the location which is near to our sibling's house in the Woodlands area. The room is spacious with a balcony, which is facing a beautiful golf view. The surroundings are big and have 2 private gym rooms (for members or hotel guests) and 1 Olympic-sized swimming pool. We forgot to bring our swimming suites, really regret on this. But we have morning walks in the club.

The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. I like the balcony where I can view the golfing activities. The environment is peaceful and away from hustle and bustle of city life. You can have a bowling session or learn golf if time permits. The feeder bus is convenient if need to go out for food in Yishun Central. There are plentiful of food and things to see and eat there.

The only grocery store NTUC has shut down. A lot of restaurant also moved out of the area. Only left with 3 eateries - subway, a Chinese restaurant and a Japanese restaurant. The resort upper floors are only reserve for long term guests.

While we do not play golf, it was delightful to have the view that looked out over the golf course, and beyond that- to the water (the sea actually). The rooms were quite adequate in their size. The bathrooms had great shelf space- a small detail that turns out to be very helpful. We especially liked the Japanese restaurant on the premise. It was delightful. Years back we lived in Japan-- and we know the feel of a typical neighbourhood Japanese restaurant-- not a fancy place, but a place that really is authentically like a typical neighborhood japanese resturant, and the japanese resturant here really does have that feel- and the food is fine. Again, quite authentic. And..... the swimming pools are fantastic. They have three! Even the smallest one is very good for doing laps for non-super athelete swimmers. The kids pool area is remarkable- If you have young kids, they would love it. Guaranteed. And they do have a 50 meter Olympic -size pool as well for those who are really serious about their labs.

There was nothing we did not like. Orchid Country Club is NOT positioned as a luxury resort. So if you go in knowing that-- then- everything is just right- just as it should be. It is a nice place--- but not a lavish or high end place. And not newly built. It met our needs perfectly. It was just the short few night get away we wanted. so we were happy. No complaints from either my wife or myself.

Quiet place outside the center on the golf course. Beautiful pool, FairPrice store in the location. Free shuttle bus to the subway.

Sometimes guests stay for one night, who are very noisy, the telephone in the room does not work.

All of the rooms are family sized, a rarity in Singapore. The 3 pools were awesome. Other reviewers mention swim classes on the weekend. This is true, however, they only took up 2 lanes in the big pool and a small portion of the fun pool, so no worries there. The fun pool has a small slide that's great. We stayed there for it's location, close to a large number of hiking and biking trails. There are also many hidden gem restaurants in the vicinity. We were able to check in our bags so we could explore on our final day. We will return as there is much more to explore.

The price is a bit steep on the weekends. I would return again, but only on weekdays. Our room wasn't shabby, as some have noted. There was a slight musty smell when we entered, but that went away once the air con kicked in. Room was clean, with slight wear and tear.

Lots of things to do, bowling alley onsite, 3 nice pools, fantastic massage at the onsite spa

The buffet was limited, especially as it is halal
