I had a wonderful stay at West City Hotel in Cluj. The staff was incredibly hospitable, always going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, which made a great impression from the moment we arrived. I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service and attention to detail.

Although there is a construction site nearby, and we were occasionally woken up by the noise of machinery, the overall experience was still very positive.

Good accommodation option, high comfort and cleanness standards that you will definitely enjoy. If you want to have nothing to worry about, from free parking to great breakfast, this is the place.

Quite far from the city center, which could be difficult if you don't have your own car.

We did not stay for to long in the hotel so there is a limit to the interaction between me and the hotel, but whatever I needed in time time I had, it was fulfilled. The room was clean, with space and comfortable. Breakfast was great and varied enough.

The internet was a little off. There are some problems with the wi-fi coverage and my network did not have good signal. One more issue was that for the minibar product, I had to go to the reception to get them. That kind of negates the whole minibar purpose. I understand that there where some incidents in the past, but I might suggest a solution that I encountered in another hotel: When the maids came to make the daily clean-up, they automatically added to the minibar the product I consumed. This way, the hotel had an exact inventory of the consumption and I was very happy to have a full minibar all the time :)

The rooms are quite large, beds are comfy, and the breakfast is also really good. There is a restaurant also for dining, which is a bit too pricey but OK, if you do not want to roam into the city. Fair air condition in the room.

The wifi was more or less useless in our room. Our 4G signal was also too weak because of the lot of concrete of the building. We asked for help and offered a public place with bean bags, which was cosy but definitely not for business purposes. The staff was unable to solve the wifi problem, therefore we have to search an other hotel for next time. Because of the remote work difficulties, we had to request a 2 hours late checkout, but it was declined, after a long debate one hour was provided. Not really generous.

The staff was impressive. Very polite and willing to meet any request. As we had to leave earlier, they even asked if we want to have a breakfast to go, we could use the coffee machine even though the restaurant was not open at that early hour in the morning. The rooms are very clean , big and comfy.

The noise from the street is bit disturbing as you can hear it even if the window is closed. But I must say that I'm very sensitive with this, my family didn't feel disturbed. A person which needs more silence for a good night sleep, should ask for a room on the other side of the hotel which is more quiet.

The staff is very kind. We asked for a late check out in order to stay 1-2h after 12PM and they let us stay for free since it was until 2PM. The rooms are very clean. The bed is comfortable. The design of the hotel is special. It has an attrium and some steel elements. The parking is big.

Everything was according to our expectations.

The Staff is amazing, and the Restaurant serves really great means. Highly recommend.

The third bed (folding bed) left there in the room, even if not necessary. Just taking some space I a not large room.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel served a varied breakfast menu (self service). The food at dinner was excellent. Rooms very clean.

Unfortunately the location was not near the the city. But a short cheap cab ride or bus overcame that. But there were no restaurants or bars that were within walking distance of the hotel.

Is only a small point but maybe having the facility to. Make a warm drink in your room especially if you only get there in the early hours of the morning

It is a so-called designer hotel, so there are slight differences between rooms. This time I got a room with a very small bathroom (compared with other rooms I stayed before in this hotel). The pillows on bed were a real nightmare (very small and soft). I still have a terrible headache (two days after...) because of them. It's strange how such a small and cheap thing (pillows) can ruin a stay in a otherwise good hotel.
