Nice location near the town centre will good bus routes to get around. Breakfast was a nice offering and the room has almost all you need for a basic overnight stay. Staff were very helpful and service was exceptional. The on site restaurant is a little pricey but is a great option for a nice evening meal minutes from your room.

Economy rooms don’t come with the usual kettle and tea/coffee so it’s either bring your own or use the restaurant / cafe on site. The building is obviously a bit dated. It didn’t bother me too much and was quite nice to have a little ‘retro feel’ about it however those looking for mod cons might feel a renovation is overdue.

The hotel has an amazing breakfast option. The location is near to Aachen Zoo and near to the motorway. The staff is super friendly. The road has a free parking.

The hotel is like an antique hotel, where some electrical appliances are outdated. Modernization of the room is required.

I liked the location a lot. It is very quiet and nice. There is a bus stop nearby to get to the city center. Room was clean and nice. Most of furniture was nice and new. The breakfasts were great. And the best part of my experience is the people. Very welcoming and nice.

Wi-Fi in one of the rooms could have been better. That was the main problem for me. On the other hand, in another room it was absolutely ok.

The fact that despite the somewhat dated hotel infrastructure it was well maintained and clean. The breakfast spread was excellent.

We ordered a glass of wine (as refreshment on the terrace, not with a meal) but the quality was really not good at all. This put us off any further such purchases.

The shower had excellent water pressure, and the room was clean and warm. Taking a bus to Aachen Central was easy, especially with the instructions from the receptionist. The hotel personnel was cordial, in good spirits, and treated us very well.

Wifi was a bit slow, but good enough for messaging.

Very clean room and bathroom. Quiet neighbourhood. Nice breakfast.

Oh, where do I start!? We had 2 rooms for 4 people. We didn't get one next to the other, but that was fine. The carpet on the hallway was old and dirty and the smell was awful. The same smell was in the rooms due to old furniture and old wallpaper. Not many people were staying there, so I wonder for whom were the rooms at the 4th floor, where there was no carpet on the hallway and no bad smell. I checked the other wing of the building. No bad smell there either Hmmm! The next morning we woke up, at 07:27 AM in the terrifying noise of the fire alarm. Apparently, someone was smoking somewhere. The apocalyptic noise stopped at 08:00. My dog was close to a heart attack and the rest of us were not far from going crazy. First and last time I'm staying there.

The breakfast with many different sorts of cheese, ham and salami together with fruit and juice were just what we needed on our cycling trip. The room was quiet, although the hotel is located at a busy crossing outside the centre.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Really all I needed for a short stay in Aachen, and would use again.

Note the time check-in closes. And German pillows... they take some getting use to.

comfy hotel, very clean and neat, close to the highway, large rooms with a little balcony, very decent breakfast, warm welcome by the personnel.

The hotel was comfortable and had all the essentials. The front of house staff were very helpful and all of the staff were nice. Would stay here again!

Quite a trek from downtown Aachen but on a nice day it's a lovely walk.
