The room was cute and comfortable. We loved the historic feel of the house with the modern conveniences. The locks were easy to use, and we had a private entrance. The kitchen was well stocked for breakfast, and we had a place to store our leftovers from dinner (I loved the labeled drawers for each room).

We arrived after dark, and the sign was not lit at all (in fact, I didn't realize there was a sign until we left the next day). We missed the turn the first attempt. When we found the turn the second time there was nothing indicating it was Swamp Rabbit Inn on the door or in the yard (again, we couldn't see the sign at the road). So, I tried my code to open the door, and it worked. There was another guest in the living room who let me know that I was in the right place (I thought I'd walked into her house for a moment). More signage and lighting would be extremely helpful for those arriving after dark. Also, a bigger sign on the road would be nice, too. It's hard to see it between the beautiful magnolias.

Charming, quiet and very comfortable except the bar stools which where cheap and flimsy

the internet connection for the tv did not work, when the staff was contacted they were not very helpful saying "read the instructions" which I did and was still unable to get any tv service.

I enjoyed my stay at Swamp Rabbit Inn. I stayed in The Studio. It had a king size bed, sleeper sofa, microwave, washer, dryer and mini fridge. It was well-stocked with towels, coffee, paper products, laundry detergent, etc. The Inn is located close to everything in Travelers Rest and just a short distance to Greenville.

It felt like home. Nothing to make you feel like you can't tough anything or it was too precious to be near..It was so homey. It was light and bright and just a very happy uplifting place.

It was freezing in there. I figured out how to make my room comfortable though and I was great!

Swamp Rabbit Inn, Travelers Rest was fantastic! My niece and I were staying in the main house, but there was an issue with the air conditioner and the owner gave us one of the cottages on the property at no additional charge. I would recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. The location is in town, but is so peaceful and quiet on the property. You have access to breakfast foods and the use of the entire kitchen, dining area, and living room.

We visit our oldest daughter at Furman University. She likes that we our 5 minutes away so that we can have quality time during our visits. Plan on returning when she moves back to college next year.

Very pleased with the house and room.

It could be rather loud when folks got up and out early. We heard every opening and closing of doors.

Great area and loved the feel of this Inn. The host was so helpful with all questions and concerns. Like staying at a trusted friends !
