Room was spacious and light. Staff welcomed us on arrival and we’re very friendly. Room was cleaned once whilst there and that was enough as we were only there 3 nights. Breakfast was ok but not worth €10. Great location. Manana bar/restaurant is on the next corner to your right. Great place. Old town is around a 10/15 minute walk and you see some beautiful sights along the way. Radisson Blu has a sky bar on their rooftop. Stunning views and cocktails are around €9 - €12. Well worth visiting for the view. Walk around the side streets and you’ll find hidden pockets.

Shower had very little pressure but could still use. Light card key fell off the wall. Told a member of staff and she pushed it back on. She said it would be sorted but it wasn’t. Minor details

I have stayed in this hotel many times. It is close to theatre and also price/quality ratio is good. Hotel is located in art deco building(s) and also rooms are decorated accordingly. In most of the rooms are spacious bathrooms with bath which is very nice. Also in most of the rooms is small fridge. There is free fresh coffee in lobby 24/7 and hotel features also a 24/7 small gym.

It has been a constant problem that gym is anything but clean. Mostly all things are laying all around and there is even no cleansing materials available to use. Quality of cleaning may vary and sometimes it is not excellent.

Great staff, tasty breakfast, inner courtyard area. Good location close to where I wanted to go and easily accessible from the airport or train/bus main station. Bathroom was cute and clean. Bed very comfortable. 24/7 reception was very convenient especially when attending late evening events. Free water/coffee available in the reception area as well as a small selection of drinks (soft drinks, beer, wine) for purchase.

Slightly more noisy than expected due to creaking wooden floors - but that's understandable in an old building. Apart from people walking in the corridor, nothing was disturbing me in the room. If the inner courtyard had better wifi connection, it would've been very pleasant for working during the day.

The atmosphere of the place is lovely, if you are not into polished receptions and luxurious stays, but want something authentic -it's great. Quiet, room basic but has almost everything you need. Good location. Very helpful receptionist, quick response to any enquiries and great help to check in outside the reception working hours. Drinking water on the entrance!

Just a warning, cause I noticed by accident in the very last minute RECEPTION WORKING HOURS, so if you'll arrive outside these hours as we did, they give you clear instructions how to check in (I'm leaving this comment here as it is most likely get attention from future guests)) The other things are minor, like a weak shower and no tea/coffee.

Really nice hotel with lovely staff. I had a room facing the courtyard, so I slept really well (although the walls are not too soundproof). The bed is comfy and the bathroom even has a bathtub. Also, there's free coffee and tea in the room as well as a small fridge. The bathroom itself wasn't the newest, but that didn't bother me at all. The hotel also offers free coffee and water in the lobby and good breakfast. The elevator is a big plus (but you still have to take a few (however less than 10) steps to get to the rooms - something to keep in mind if you have a wheelchair). The hotel itself is in good location (about 15-20 minutes walk to the old town) and supermarkets, cafes and restaurants are nearby.

Reminder (unrelated to the hotel): As of Dec 2024, Riga seems to charge visitors a small tax of 1 Euro per night. Laundry room is a bit small with a small washing machine (good) and a very confusing dryer (that's really frustration for me)

Good value for money, room was lovely only downside was that it was cold in the room. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice and good service.

I have been staying in this hotel many times. Advantages are that it is in a nice historical building, well priced, has a gym and secure parking for bikes. Also there is a hot water machine in lobby as well as free coffee. Beds are comfortable

This time my room had a bad smell. Elevator did not work, but it did not bother me. Nevertheless what is bothering is that there are people in the courtyard smoking and chatting until very late. So all the smell and noise is coming to rooms.

The communication with the accommodation was great, the staff I interacted with at the reception was very kind. Especially the lady who was there during the weekend was particularly helpful. She lent me a charger, she had a small heater delivered in my room because it was quite cold inside. The breakfast was abundant and good - except for the coffee, better get one on the street after the breakfast :). The room itself was very clean at the arrival, had everything I needed for a weekend. I could leave my luggage at the reception after the check out. I believe there is a laundry room where you can use the iron, but I did not need it in the end.

I believe the offer said that the room included "city view", but mine definitely did not have that, the room was quite dark unfortunately. Also, I left the tag on my door for the staff to clean my room twice but it never happened. It was not a big issue for me because I stayed only 3 nights though. The walls are extremely thin, I could literally hear the guest next door moving around in their bed at night as if they were laying next to me. Bring ear plugs :) Note for future travellers: I was in Riga in the middle of May. The receptionist infored me that the heating season in Latvia had already finished so it was still very cold in the room. Not the hotel's fault at all of course, as described above, they provided a small heater, so really appreciate that!

The hotel is at a very good location, about 20 minutes by foot to the city center. The staff is super nice and friendly, and try to empathize with the clients. The neighborhood is super nice, with a lot of art nouveau buildings in the area, and some restaurants and cafes too.

I knew this beforehand, so I can't really complain, but there was a heat wave and the rooms were hot hot hot. A fan is provided but it may be still too hot if you are not used to it. I opened the window to help cooling down and it did, but then there was some noise. Again, I have read this from other reviews, I just did not expect the heat wave. As many others have mentioned, there is an elevator, but it stops between floors so there is still stairs to be walked. This was not a problem for me, but it is good to keep in mind.
