Very nice hotel, conformable room, good enuf space for a family of 3. Car parking was at the premises and free which was very helpful. The place it on the outskirts of Swansea but that is why I liked it too - wasn't with a lot of hustle bustle. City is a mere 10 mins drive. Eating, grocery and fuel place less than 5 mins away. The best thing about the place was it's Food! The chef is a genius. We ate the same stuff (veg creamy pasta) two days in a row and so did my 10 year old zith his Kid's menu. Breakfast was fresh and ingredients appeared to be freshly made as well. So loved the food options here.
If the rooms were slightly bigger.

Nice little basic hotel clean and tidy, lovely staff which accepted Dogs, which is always hard to find, and did not make our pooch feel like a second class citizen. Lovely area out the back of the hotel for the dog to have a mooch about, which also backs onto a park and lake where you can take the dog for a walk. Breakfast was, of a good standard, and evening meal prices all looked good even though we did not eat there other than breakfast. Although Dogs not allowed in restaurant we were allowed to cage the dog, depending on your preference we always do if leaving him when not at home. Put your do not disturb sign on and enjoy breakfast.
Could do a with a little update but, not the be all and end all, still clean and tidy. Little pricey, but will not stop us returning for the ease of being able to take the dog

When we checked in Neil and Kelly were very hospitable and could not have been more helpful even offering to carry our bags… Our room was lovely and our bed was very comfortable…There was a wedding party on that evening and the staff had placed us at the back of the hotel to avoid any noise which was very thoughtful… In the morning we had a lovely buffet breakfast and everyone was so kind to our little dogs Sooty and Sweep…A special thank you to lovely Connie and Andrea…. We would highly recommend this lovely hotel and if we are ever passing we will definitely be back….

Excellent allround - very helpful and sociable staff, excellent location for our short stay, very clean throughout, good free parking.
A very small irritation - we wanted to watch the football on the lounge television but the staff were very apologetic that the television could not broadcast the BBC channels ! . A new one on me but we were told that it was to do with the SKY package - difficult to understand this ! Really no big problem as we watched it in our room - but a slight seemingly silly irritation !

The staff at this hotel were all very friendly and made it feel like a relaxed atmosphere. The hotel itself is well looked after and in great condition. The food at dinner was lovely and the breakfast was good too. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. There is a very peaceful view from the window and the room was warm.
Our room was located right by a door to the stairs. The bottom of the door scraped on the floor every time someone went through which was loud going late into the night. There is a lot of mould in the bath/shower facilities in our room. Our food at dinner took a very long time to come out considering we were the only people at the restaurant at that time. But all the hotel staff were so nice that it made up for it all.

Breakfast very good apart from even at 8am running out of juice and yoghurt. I would add that the dining room chairs are now too low for tables to eat comfortably as the foam is past it's best.
As a blue badge holder the two spaces by front of hotel are next to the smoking area. Often folk standing in blue badge spots so had to park elsewhere. As a non smoker the stench is uncomfortable and returning to hotel in dark made me anxious with a crowd of smokers hanging around. The bin is full of stubs on the top and floor is littered with them. Doesn't create a good impression at front of hotel when there appears to be room elsewhere or move disabled bays.

Great breakfast! Lots of nice touches and extras beyond what one usually finds in mid-price major label hotels. Hot food was actually hot and not sort of lukewarm. Eggs to order are good. Scandinavian meat and cheese offering appreciated.
Children were disappointed by lack of rabbits in the wide green space outside the window but this is really outside the establishment's purview, and is more a fault of my wife for optimistically suggesting there might be some.

The staff were very friendly. The location is very good. I had a dog friendly room so it wasn't perfect but it was clean. It was on the ground floor which was helpful. the facilities are good. Nice bar area. The breakfast was self service but I couldn't enter the restaurant with my dog but they set up a separate table in the bar area and actually were kind enough to get my breakfast for me. Which I think is going the extra mile. There is also ample free parking which is always good. I did particularly like the sofa and coffee table which made it easy to relax have a cup of tea and watch the flat screen TV
I found the bed a little hard and uncomfortable but not terrible and certainly not the worst I've slept in. The rooms are basic and functional but that is what you expect from chain hotels. They lack character but they serve their purpose. Clean and tidy and close to amenities

The communal areas of the hotel are really good and seemed to have had a recent upgrade. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was really good. It was also pet friendly so was lovely to see dogs in the lobby etc.
The family room we stayed in was very dated. The bathroom was in desperate need of an upgrade, ie. Broken tap, dripping shower, very dated decor etc. The beds were also super uncomfortable and there was no air filtration system so the room felt so musty every time you came in the door and being on the ground floor, we couldn’t exactly sleep with the window wide open. But it was fine for somewhere to sleep for the night, esp. with a toddler.

I opted for the upgrade and the room and facilities were excellent and clean and well prepared. I took advantage of the gymnasium which was a great feature and helped me while away the evening. As a vegan, I was pleased they were able to cater to my dietary needs with a really tasty plant based burger and the best fries ever! I was told that I could order non meat sausages for breakfast and only needed to ask. Lastly, the staff were excellent and couldn't have been more helpful or courteous. When I'm back in Wales I hope to stay here again.
Nothing negative to say really. Breakfast offered a wide variety of items, well prepared and presented. My only comment is that I would have preferred to see non dairy butter and milk. Of course, it may have been there or available had I asked, it's just that I didn't see it.
