The owner went above and beyond to assist me. I had to suddenly get back home to the US due to a family medical emergency. Despite being busy, he took the time to give me instructions on how to navigate transportation. ---The room was more than excellent---spacious, clean, and a view of the church. --The evening meal was delicious and relaxing with the white tablecloth atmosphere overlooking a garden. --I had to ask the owner questions about half a dozen times and each time he was so gracious to help me. This was my Camino blessing.

Excellent location for El Camino. We stayed here on the last night of our walking last year and we liked it so much we stayed here for the first night of this year’s walk (coincidentally in the same room). The room was extremely spacious and comfortable with a lovely view of the garden area. All the staff were very friendly. We had the menu of the day for our evening meal and it was really tasty and excellent value for money

This is my second camino and i'm always sleeping in private rooms as i want to avoid people snoring or going to the bathroom every 5 minutes. As you can guess that means i slept in quite a few hotels and hostels. This one, La Huella Del Camino, is one of the very very best on the whole camino! The food in the restaurant is also more than excellent, do yourself a favor and try it. The host is very friendly, a big bath tub to relax in after a day of hiking, hygiene is excellent, great bed... what else can you wish for?

I cannot say anything bad for the price i paid, price-quality this hotel is excellent.

The staff , and especially the owner were amazing. I was offered an earlier start to the lunch meal and a late check out the following morning as it was my last day of walking. Wifi excellent and meal great value and beautifully presented. There is a lovely garden with tables at the back to relax in. The room was exceptionally spacious. There was no problem leaving my backpack there till later in the day when I caught the bus.

Stayed in a Quad room on the 3rd floor...4 single beds.. which was huge! Nice sitting areas in the room. Beds firm and comfy. The view toward the church out our windows was spectacular! Parking was easy. Dinner in the restaurant both nights was very good. Servers were kind and hard working. Location was excellent for walking and watching the pilgrims who were walking the Camino. Loved wandering around this cute village.

I ended up in a sort of double room with four beds. See the photos, because even though it was technically one room, it was nicely divided for privacy and even had two sitting areas and two TVs. This is the place with the awesome pilgrim mural painted on the side, is well located in town, serves good food, and my window looked out on the cathedral. As a bonus, the shower had lots of massage nozzles AND music!!

Nothing not to like!

There was an initial mistake when checking in which resulted in me paying a higher price than I was expecting. Once I'd unpacked and checked my Booking confirmation I went back to reception and showed the staff my booking confirmation. The hotel agreed they'd made an error and repaid me the overcharge with an apology and a smile. These things happen sometimes and the matter was resolved easily and in a friendly manner. Also the evening meal and service was very enjoyable and very good value. We've stayed there previously and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

A nice welcome, offered me a bottle of water when I arrived from a long walk on the Camino. They gave me a huge room with 4 beds. The facilities were clean, and convenient to have their restaurant in the same building, which had amazing food as well.

We loved our stay here. While walking the Camino we decided to upgrade for a night, and this hotel was such a treat. Staff are wonderfully welcoming and caring; our room was large (and had a view of the old church) and also had a bath - a treat for tired muscles. The food absolutely delicious, and the pilgrim menu excellent value.

Nothing negative; all was excellent :)

We were very impressed with how helpful the manager was. He helped us with reservations for meals, getting a taxi and providing general information. We also loved our view of the church from our room. We spent two nights and it was very comfortable.

We loved everything about the property.
