An old building reflecting its history with comfortable modern interior that retains a wealth of features. Breakfast was great, as was dinner on our first night - just what was needed after a long journey. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and promising start to our journey ahead. The hotel is located in a small quiet village, slightly off the beaten track but definitely worth a good night's sleep - Top of our list at the end of our holidays.

We had a huge room, very impressively furnished. Our evening meal was excellent with a surprisingly large choice on the menu. The bar area was also great in the early evening for an aperitif, pleasant jazz background music and with a mix of guests and locals providing a great atmosphere. The owner/hosts were very friendly and helpful. Very quiet small village environment. Delightful views.

Our room was on the top (2nd)floor and since there is no lift the elderly/infirm need to bear this in mind. However the owner is very willing to assist with luggage.

Primarily the owners who despite me mangling their language with my Spanglesh were extra helpful and welcoming. Hotel is a unique building (renovated country house and granary). Meals were excellent and service exemplary, this is all at reasonable cost too.

Nothing really but some might not like the remoteness and lack of facilities in the village location.

Lovely and welcoming owners who go above & beyond. Nice little town, beautiful rooms, everything clean and comfortable. Well prepared breakfast with a variety of breads, deli meats, cheese, fruits, yoghurt, hot and cold beverages. All good quality and delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

The building and its historic features are superb. I particularly loved the outsize doors and locks and stairs. The bar open all hours is a really lovely touch, especially opening out into the garden. The hotel also feels out of scale with the town, but in a lovely way. It felt very safe for a van full of luggage, too.

The location is in a quiet rural area of Spain, The hotel is stunning internally with an eclectic mix of furnishing and is superbly renovated, a real treasure. The owners were very pleasant and made us most welcome. Well worth a visit.

We were on our road trip and needed a peaceful place to lay our heads. The property is clean, modern and attractively unusual.

Unfortunately my husband has some walking difficulties so found that not having a lift troublesome to transport overnight luggage up and down the stairs.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful old world town. The building is stunning and comfortable. We were traveling south from Santander and this was our first overnight stop. Good buffet breakfast was included and the staff were lovely. We arrived very late due to issues charging our car which held us up but they waited up for us and showed us to our rooms.

This town had nothing in it. So it was perhaps good as a base or a stop en route. But when we walked around it the next morning there was nothing to see or do that we could find. However it is an absolutely beautiful location.

Not a dislike, but finding the property is a little difficult. Maybe some signs on the road leading into the village would be useful?

An absolutely amazing building with lots of character and interesting features. Spotlessly clean and lots of comfy areas to relax in. The surrounding area is very quiet, however, you can get an evening meal at the hotel where there is lots of choice and very well cooked. Breakfast was very good too, ample choice and hot scrambled eggs. The hosts are very friendly, Julio was happy to serve drinks when we needed in the beautiful bar area. would definitely stay here again.
