ideal downtown boutique accommodation with well-appointed, tastefully furnished rooms. the restaurant is located in the beautiful former bank hall - a spectacular place for a spectacular breakfast with barista coffee and à la carte options. as it is all about details: the hotel boasts the most beautiful door hangers.

the reception team could have been a bit more welcoming - everything was rather transactional.

Front office staff was very friendly and helpful. My location was great, room a bit small.

No Porter or anyone to help with bags. I'm 80 yr old and would have been nice for someone to offer. Also no stair railing on the entrance steps, scary.

150 kr surcharge on roomservice, when having this quality of Hotel/price it should be included. But kudos for making it clear before ordering.

Great location, nice and functional room, lovely breakfast. One staff member in the restaurant was great and very professional (I do not recall the name, but he speaks a bit of Italian). Room cleanliness was at a very high standard - I think Amanda was my housekeeper. Kudos to these two associates!

The warmth and efficiency of the staff is not up to a five star hotel. Staff attitude and body language at breakfast and at the Papillon bar can be improved. Such a pity as it is a great location and the hotel has all the facilities to be greater.

Breakfasts are amazing. The little attentions to detail in the room are lovely with a nice message and a little treat left most nights. Staff were excellent.

Being on the 7th floor, you could hear the thump, thump, thump of the music on the roof terrace until the early hours. If you do stay at th is lovely hotel, try and stay on the first few floors.

The bed was very comfortable, I must emphasise this, the bed was superb. The view from the window was very nice too. The hotel itself is very impressive and stylish, and the staff is very accommodating and ready to help. The location of the hotel is superb - many museums are a short walk away.

We couldn't figure out the bath showerhead: there weren't any buttons or levers, but there was a separate shower, so that's not a big issue. There also was minimal draught from one of the windows, but this was not a deal breaker in any capacity.

Breakfast was generous and lovely. The food was plentiful and delicious. The kitchen was able to provide additional food easily and without extra charges. The location of the hotel is perfect. In such a beautiful neighborhood, easy to walk to many sites and generally very central. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully appointed.

I wish there was a better business lounge that lends itself to quiet meetings. The music in the lobby made it hard to talk quietly but the hotel easily adjusted the music for us. The bathroom products are great but larger bottles would be better and easier to use.

The facility of the hotel is first class - all amenities were supplied (but not routinely refilled), including power converter! We were welcomed on the first day by some seriously delicious chocolates :) The hotel is located 2 mins away from Kungstradgarden metro station, making it very easy to arrive by public transport, especially given the high price of taxis in Stockholm. It is however on a cobblestone street and bike path so navigating with our luggages was a challenge.

We were given a room at the back of the hotel which is next to a night club I believe, and l there was loud music until late at night, especially on Friday & Saturday. We were offered to change room when we raised this with the reception, who were very helpful, however it was too late at night and we already had all our stuff unpacked. We were hoping it would die down after the weekend - definitely quieter but still audible.

The Bank Hotel in Stockholm exceeded my expectations. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore key attractions. The building itself is stunning, combining historical architecture with modern luxury. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every need was met. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and had elegant decor, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. Additionally, the on-site restaurant provided an exceptional dining experience, with a diverse menu and delicious food.

There was nothing major to dislike about the property. Perhaps the only small downside was the limited availability of parking spaces, but the staff were helpful in providing alternatives.

The building & location, along with both the ground floor bar & roof top bar make this a really good hotel.

I feel service fell slightly short of 5*, long waits & chasing for breakfast orders at times. A doorman would be really helpful to juggle the 2 doors & luggage on arrival / departure. The vault room we had was lovely & spacious - however the elegant essential room is VERY small. This is partly my fault as the room sizes are listed on booking - had I realised the size I would’ve booked a larger room for 2 people.
