The property lacked some amenities but it was clean, close to travel areas. The price was very reasonable We were planning to tour the area rather than to spend time at our lodging and Sea Dell was perfect for that

Very nice person working in reception, thanks for all the suggestions and travel tips (we managed to park for free in Key West!) And there is a cute iguana living on a roof, we met him several times :))

The room itself was outdated but at the same time there was a retro feel about it so all okay.

The motel was super clean and completely exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. They went out of the way to find us karaoke on 2 different nights. The house keeping staff was friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfortable. The shower was hot and had great water pressure. Great location and centrally located to all that we wanted to do. We booked through booking.com and we got an amazing deal.

The building is older and in need of some cosmetic repairs inside and out, but it did not detract from our stay at all.

Staff- incredibly helpful and friendly!! We were very appreciative of their prompt and courteous service. We accidently left behind 2 coffee cups which they were kind enough to save for us. We loved walking to the beautiful area in back of the Black Fin. The pool was cute and clean. The location was easy to find and convenient. The bedside reedling light with night light was beautiful and functional. Recently renovated and painted.

TV WAY too small. Hard to see from the bed. It was above the small table so unable to see it from the table-- no convenient place to get close enough to the TV to watch it. No vent in the bathroom. Need a bedside table and reading light on both sides of the bed.

Very clean and an excellent value. This is the Keys in the high season, of course. Lots of smilies!

Located near grocery. Room was ready , fridge cold. Sit outside room, 4 picnic table with umbrellas where friend gathered or go pool side. Had the basics ..no frills. Good price. Responsive staff.

The room was small yet adequant.. Need a half curtain.i wanted sunshine and not to be on display. Window shade.open or closed No full time staff on property. On the plus side Answer phone quickly. The beach at end of street is private & gated. Three bisinesses away we could use beach at marina.

The Sea Dell motel is a hidden gem! It is a small cozy motel feel. We greatly enjoyed our 2 night stay. & we will gladly stay again. The rooms are nice inside. The bathrooms are clean. Micro & refrigerator in rooms. There is a nice clean swimming pool. We interacted with 2 males who ran the front desk, both of them were great!, & customer friendly & courteous to us. This was our 2nd time staying in Marathon. We did not like where we stayed the last time in Marathon. We are so glad we opted to try the Sea Dell. It is our type of place! You can easily walk out to the main street, there are many nearby businesses to walk to. A couple of souvenir shops are right across the street. A beach is nearby & a restaurant is right across the street.

Exactly what we expected for the money. Our stay was made better by the guy on reception who recommended several great places to eat and where to park for free in Key West. The place is dated but clean and comfortable. Took about an hour to Key West. We had the pool to ourselves as it doesn’t get used much. Just around the corner is Crane Point which has beautiful gardens, nice walks and a museum. Definitely worth a visit if you have time. Great breakfast over the road.

Would have liked an extra towel and pillow although I’m sure these would have been provided if we asked.

Room has a coffeemaker (with provided coffee), microwave and mini fridge. A small table and two chairs were useful for our breakfast. Space was newly remodeled and very pretty. Last time we were at the Sea Dell we were in a larger room on the courtyard, which we should have requested for this stay.

Bathroom could have used a shelf unit to put toiletries and dopp kits on - we had to use shower ledge.
