Great location, great view and very comfortable

$125 cleaning fee, and I was told to wash the dishes and leave a tip for the cleaner. I just booked for 1 night

The house boats were clean and new, staff were friendly and responsive, staying right on the water is lovely.

They asked us to clean our own dishes and tip the housekeeping staff -- two practices common early on with AirBnBs but which have long been discarded as impractical.

This worked well for a girls' trip where we wanted more privacy than a single hotel room. The bedrooms are snug, but the living room had soace for us to sit when we weren't out on the back porch (where we spent most of pur time). The AC was wonderful. The loft area is not usable by adults (not tall enough if you want to stand up). The boat was very clean and a lovely marina view. We saw manatees a couple of mornings. Also,there is a Publix grocery store across the road, which was really convenient. One of the best features is that you can use a nice little beach club up the road-- really nice beach with chairs and a bit of shade as well as a pool and hot tub. Marathon was a great place to stay in the Keys-- close enough to go down to Key West a couple of days and up to Key Largo on another.

The only issue was that we needed beach towels for the beach club and we had to go on quite a trip to find the staff that had them (took a couple of days). Everything else was good.

Everything....the location! the decor! the ambiance!, the amenities! ..even bikes .....it was HEAVEN!!!!! Our little house boat had a perfect layout with 2 bedroom...a well supplied kitchen...stove and fridge and BBQ...awesome deck.....LOVE..LOVE..LOVED IT. BEST PLACE MY SISTER AND I HAVE EVER STAYED!!!!! so sad to look at the photo...we didn't want to leave!!! We rode the bikes to Sombreo Beach for an evening g swim then rode back in wet bathing suits...just like we did when we were kids. Coffee, breakfast and dinner on the deck with a view down the channel and a manate siting thrown in for good measure!!!!!

NOTHING!!!!! IT WAS A PERFECT! EVEN THE SIGN IN THE BATHROOM! The neighbourig house had a motion sensor light was annoying!!!! (Nothing the resort can do about).

A unique property with a superb view. We loved watching the variety of fish swimming and jumping in the water. It was compact but this wasn’t an issue as we weren’t planning to cook. The beds were comfortable and shower worked surprisingly well. We took advantage of the kayaks and used the bikes daily to cycle to the beach. Access to the Cabana Club was an unexpected bonus and we spent an afternoon there using the pool and their beach area. It’s located within walking distance to supermarkets and there were lots of great restaurants within a few minutes drive.

Unfortunately, we didn’t see any manatees!

We loved our time @ Yacht Haven. Lovely quiet setting & we did have some manatees visit while we were enjoying time on our deck. The location was great for us since we were down with lots of other people all staying in various places around Marathon. Sombrero Beach is just under 2 miles down the road. You can use the bikes available to guests to visit the beach & not have to struggle to park a car. They also have kayaks available to use. The aqua lodge kitchen was very well equipped w/all the basics. The staff were all so gracious & friendly. We would absolutely stay in an aqua lodge again. We may just have to check out the other locations in the Keys.

I'm short & the beds are fairly high & if you have more than just the 2 of you, just know that you cross into the 2nd bedroom to access the bathroom.

Enjoyed the aqua lodge. Very private & quiet although it's located behind a Publix Market. Saw manatees in the water off the back deck. Very well equipped with cooking facilities too.

When we checked in we were told we had to pay $125.00 cleaning fee on top of what we'd already paid to Booking.com which already included a cleaning fee. After a heated discussion, the lady checking us in said she would talk to her manager & get the fee waived. We later called Booking.com & they confirmed we'd already paid the cleaning fee & there was no need to pay to the property again. Aqua lodges were great, however the check in experience was very unpleasant.

Great location and lodging was very clean. It was close by to most attractions and midway in the Florida Keys. There is also a supermarket (Publix) which is a 5 mins walk from the lodging. Beds were very soft and comfortable. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.

There wasn't any tea bags (only coffee) in the room, though we should have requested. Our unit was number 10 and most of the rubbish seems to be washing up on the left side of the unit (plastic bags, plastic gloves, wrappers, etc). There is a bit of hazard for kids approaching the walkway at the entrance of the unit as no barriers to stop from accidentally falling into the water.

Very cool idea! Loved all the ocean life around the boat! Manatee, jelly fish, etc. very close to groceries and drug store, awesome beach, and restaurants. Our unit was VERY clean. Lovely.

make sure the porch curtain stays closed because the living room are would get very warm and the a/c didn’t always get it cooled down. Had an issue with toilet flooding bathroom. Had to call emergency number a couple times and had to turn water to boat off and on when needed that night. But maintenance resolved the next morning and all was good!! Great response to our needs and made sure to bring us more towels since used them all to clean up flooded bathroom.

We enjoyed the location. Convenient to the destinations, like Key West, we wanted to see. Having the Publix within walking distance was a major plus. Plus, ample choice of restaurants nearby. The boat was very spacious and clean. The appliances in top shape. We were very lucky to have quiet neighbors on both sides, considering how close you are to them. We really enjoyed the view from the veranda in the back of the boat, so relaxing and peaceful. On the last morning, we did observe a family of manatees. It made my day to see them.

The first night we stayed there was very windy. With other words, there was quite a bit of wave action. Which, of course, makes a houseboat move. At night, the walkway down to the houseboat was rolling back and forth, making a lot of noise. Plus the tv came on all by itself in the middle of the night. Another not so great item, not the facilities fault at all. Since you are very close to your neighbor when sitting on the veranda in the back, and they are smokers, and smoking bothers you, this will make it uncomfortable for you. I had to come inside the boat. But like I said, not anybody's fault, only my total dislike to cigarette smoke.
